I want to uninstall app by only using root browser. Can anyone suggest which files to delete if I want to uninstall app or clear app data or disable user app or system app? I am using es file explorer as root browser and magisk as superuser.

I just rooted my Asus TF101 tablet with Brk's Root Toolkit v8.
It says I am now rooted, but is there any way to know for sure?
I have rooted my phone before & when I did that I was able to remove all the useless apps that came preinstalled, but on my Tablet it will not let me. I was thinking with root access I would be able to do this.
I am thinking of flashing to another ROM, but want to be sure this thing is rooted first.
Any insight is appreciated!!
Thx!!!
Do you have a SuperUser or SuperSU app installed?
I would open it and see what happens.
Also, I do not believe you can uninstall system apps JUST being rooted, you need an app like Titanium Backup to do the uninstalling. They still are not uninstallable in the Settings - Apps section just by rooting.
Alternatively, install a root explorer (or enable Root Explorer permissions in ES File Explorer) and see if you get prompted for root access without errors.

Ah.....forgot about Titanium back up. I knew there was an app I needed to use.
I open SuperUser & it just says No Apps in List or something.
thx!!
I have just installed latest CM10.1 and Jarvis kernel V2 with the new overclocking method. Whenever I try to uninstall a system app either through root uninstaller or by deleting the .apk file I can't. I suppose that it has something to do with the permissions of the /system/app folder. I tried gaining full access to this folder but I still can't uninstall any system app.
Don't mount system as R/w after OC, if u want to mount system as R/w to delete any app or to change permissions in system, so restore your OC frequency to 600 MHz..

I restored cpu frequency to 600MHz, enabled root access in file manager, tapped the lock icon at the top left corner to change / from RO to RW an was finally able to delete any unwanted system .apks. However when I try to uninstall a system app through root uninstaller it still says uninstall unsuccessfull although the app is gone from the drawer. Is this the correct method or I did something wrong?

Even root uninstallers need r-w access. U can't uninstall an app until you decrease the max frequency to 600mhz.

I did all of what you guys mentioned above. Now I can uninstall system apps through root uninstaller. It still says uninstall unsuccessfull but the app is uninstalled. Weird but who cares since the app is really gone?
Thank you guys for your help!!

Just go to root folder and find oem folder/app and delete those apps simple
Just install Link2SD or SystemUninstall App from playstore.
Those App only work for rooted device.
Uninstall the useless Apps. But be careful with it, don't delete system functioning App.
After uninstall completed, reboot the device.

i have made a flashable script to remove those olx, moneycontrol, and snapdeel apps. wait i m bus right now
Download MoveTo SdCard from Play Store and from that unistall the apps
Simple question...i hope for a simple answer
Use something like Solid Explorer or <insert file explorer here with root permissions> and remove the folder "com.bethsoft.falloutshelter-1" (or without the -1, shouldn't be that hard to find...) from system/app or system/priv-app and reboot.
using titanium backup with root permission to remove this/any apps.
also can try ES explorer with root permission to remove system app too.
always restart after remove system app(s).
Is the Fallout shelter game (pre-installed) any different from the free version on Play?

You can disable it from Apps in the Settings section. If you must get rid of it entirely, PixelVixen got it
Is it possible to install user app or move it as system app without root access?
