I have created an application to fake the WhatsApp thumbnail Image.

What is a Thumbnail Changer for WhatsApp? It 'a whole new way to send photo/video via WhatsApp, which allows you to "hide" a photo into another!
►Video - HowTo
Here's how it works:
Thumbnail Changer for WhatsApp allows you to choose a FAKE image and replace it with thumbnail of the original image/video.
When you will send your image/video via WhatsApp they will receive an Image, with a thumbnail of the FAKE picture.
When your friends sees the downloading image (FAKE Thumbnail) and wait for the download to complete,FAKE image will change.. into your REAL image/video!
You can use Thumbnail Changer for WhatsApp in original and creative ways:
To hear your friends asking: “How did you do that?”
To send really original love or wishes messages!
To send a sexy picture that will turn into ...
To send a photo that your friends are waiting for a long time and it will turn into something that they hate!
To send “special" messages: in the first photo choose a photo with a text, and in the other one let the images talk for you!
To do special tricks!
Google Image Picker will not work while picking the image from the Thumbnail Changer App.
Use any other Gallery App available (like QuickPic)

Finally I was able to create this MOD. I have reused an old post for this.
The app can change use the fake thumbnail for an image so that it will be shown while downloading and shows original when download is complete.

Unfortunately it didn't work
i noticed that it didn't ask root permission
is that the problem? I enabled it in xposed also

do you have xposed installed correctly ?
you dont need root for this application. Root is for Xposed Module. So root permission is not asked to open this app.
How did you tried it ?

Yes i read it all i think the problem is that i have custom 2.12.84 version of whatsapp i think that is the problem

Hi,
I have created another version of the application. I made it to work with different versions of WhatsApp.
Little change in the instructions also.updated the help file
please try it.

[Port][S5 Gallery][Odex/Deodexed]

Got ported the Galaxy S5 Galley works on both Odex & Deodexed
so you need to have Root permission
Deodexed Steps:
1- Download and Extract the files
2- Open any root explorer i recommend Es File Explorer
3- Copy SecGallery2013.apk to system/priv-app/SecGallery2013 and correct permissions
4- Copy libSecMMCodec.so and libsomxaacd.so to system/lib and correct permissions
5- Reboot.
Odex Steps:
1- Download and Extract the files
2- Open any root explorer i recommend Es File Explorer
3- Copy SecGallery2013.apk to system/priv-app/SecGallery2013 and correct permissions
4- Delete files in system/priv-app/SecGallery2013/arm
5- Copy libSecMMCodec.so and libsomxaacd.so to system/lib and correct permissions
6- Reboot.

[MOD] Move SuperSU app to Settings menu - OxygenOS v3 NEW

This mod will let you move the SuperSU app from the app drawer to the Settings menu.
I have based this mod on OxygenOS 2.1, but should work on all versions of OxygenOS

Just flashed, didn't work. OOS 2.0.2 / Xposed

Could you post a screen shot? Working 100% on my phone. Also had 44 downloads and no other reports of it not working.

I don't think a screenshot will help... I'll try to download and flash it again, if I'm the only one who has the problem it must come from my phone/tweaks.

Yes if you could provide a screen shot of settings and then the error you get when you run it. I am on SuperSu free version 2.49 and opening perfectly for me.

Hmm just to clarify, your on the OnePlus 2 running OxygenOS 2.0.2? it should be just as showing in the screen shot. Just under gestures in device section.
Also could you do me a favour? could you extract the settings.apk from the zip and push it manually to prv-app/settings/settings.apk? Change permissions and test.
OK just ran a test. Looks like the mount path I am using to mount system is not working correctly. Just extract the apk manually and push it to the folder it will work.
I will make a new update later this evening.

Sorry about that guys. I was using my updater script from my Nexus 6. It looked as if it was installing ok, but wasn't mounting system correctly. Re-wrote updater script from scratch, let me know if there are any problems

okey i get it now. it should work in a G4 as well. but i had problems restoring before.. as i used old script. and on new flash tried restoring and it just hanged got stuck in the app. will report back when i flash rom.

yes work with one in playstore. it was confusing at restoring. i was hitting enable. LOL. then tried disabled..

@K3V1991 is there any changes that there will be notifications delay by any of the services. ?
A very strange thing happened while restoring your backup.
So, when we click on restore, it gives us option to select the backup and on top of it it says enable or disable.
I didn't get the point of it. So, first I selected the enable button and then the backup and clicked ok. It took time and then a toast appeared operation fail.
Now this time, I selected disable and then the backup and ok. My Androidtooks shut down. Launcher didn't showed up. Then rebooted. The. Launcher showed up but the app drawers didn't have myandroidtools app. So check in settings, apps. The app was there but was not showing in app drawer.
Strange. Can you help me with it.

I am facing the same problem. I thought something was wrong with my ROM.
Device - Mido
ROM - MIUI (stock) based on 7.0

I'm using the HTC Gallery app, v. 9.51.755029, with no problem. Rooted HTC U11 with the Bad Boyz Unlocked U11 ROM.

Not really: last photo taken shows in lower right corner of Camera, when touched it shows the pic, not Photos.
Probly because after installing QP, I disabled Photos & Gallery.

I am using Sony Albums and work perfect and you can even snyc facebook photos in gallery

Is it possible to disable searching SD? When I put my maps (images) on SD I have dozens of new Photo Album coming up...

The Apkmirror content will be installed as "unknown" source because it didn't come from playstore. This will cause issues for apps that are installed in the internal memory as those have system access, the apk you installed does not. Conflicting security rights. You won't get it working without s-off.
To stop your gallery picking stuff up you can create a blank file called ".nomedia"in the directory/folder you DON'T want scanned and it should skip it. You will need to restart the phone for it to take effect.

I get the HtcGallery.apk from the RedmiNote5 folder and it works well in my HTC U Ultra. Thanks a lot.
