Hi all.
I change with FlashTool the firmware on Sony Xperia Z3 SO-01G 32GB DOCOMO with D6603 Global firmware , and i have one problem.
After flashing , the internal memory its showing only 16Gb instead of 32Gb.
Can anyone help me ?
Thanks , and please excuse my bad English.
I solved the problem in this way :
1 - Flash the original firmware for SO-01G DOCOMO , and reappeared 32GB internal memory .
2 - Flash firmware for D6603 , but before pressing the flash button , check the box next to : Exclude - PARTITION . In this way internal memory remains 32gb.
I repeat : CHECK box PARTITION !
Issues : NFC not working .
Probably cause its not the right firmware for the device
yes , only jp ver of z3 has 32GB storage. exclude partition flash is the trick in prev xperia too.
unfortunately nfc is not working
No problem I do not need NFC, is everything else working?
where can I find download for flashtool, firmware, etc. I too want to change my S0-01G TO Nordic

Hi, also interested in doing the same. Someone bought the Z3 from japan and wants to sell it to me. If the global firmware is stable with the phone model (aside from the NFC) then I will agree to buying it from the seller. How has it been so far?
it is rock stable with international firmware (only NFC is not working, as JP is a special one)
if you mind about the NFC, then just flash back to JP FW (also with English lang)
Where can i find this flashtool? only one i can find is Emma from Sony, and the SO-01G is blocked?

Hi. what can i do for flashing pre rot rom (6603) on my so-01G without loos my 16Gb?? tnx
if your SO-01g is already rooted.. you can install the preroot rom 6603 directly. keep in my that you need to disable NFC.
I have just install the RXSW Z5 experience directly with full wipe on my SO-01G docomo rom rooted (kitkat). everything seems to work fine and I still have my 32go internal memory. if someone have a 5.1.1 docomo rom and could backup nfcnci.apk.?
Hi! Sorry for reviving an old thread, did anybody here managed to get the SO-01G's bootloader unlocked? I got mine unlocked via flashtool but the camera only showed black screen. I did the fastboot method but I got this error :
Code:
remote : command did not succeed
Anyone has the solution?
Thank you!

can i get link firmware z3 so-01g and global (if can marsmellow )
Hello there,
I am from India, and as we all know that the xperia z2 is being updated to lollipop , but no word out yet in india so I decided to install the same using flash tool
I used xperifirm to download the android 5.0.2
I own the D6502 model, how ever the update that I downloaded was for the Nordic regions which have D6503 model.
I followed the steps and flashed lollipop on my phone, but now the sim card wont catch the network,
I tried to switch to gsm mode only ,
no help
there is no option to search for the available networks manually
I use Vodafone in India,
Please help, It's urgent

Do we have the firmware for the D6502 model that is available in india ?
if we do then please post the link else please tell me if there is any other way/?
Hello guys.
Pleas tell me if I can flash D6633 firmware on D6683. I've searched everywhere and there is no answer.
Thank you!
Yes
Sure you can!
I did for mine. D6683 running on D6633 firmware. It's ok.
Basically, the hardware of both devices is similar, the D6683 was modified to support Hongkong LTE network.
Can you tell me how to flash it? I tried with flashtool and it says that the firmware is not for this phone... or something like that. I have Locked Bootloader.
Thanks
How was this? Got a D6683 also.
I've managed to install IT. You download The firmware with xperifirm and create The ftf with flashtool v 0.9.18.6. Before you start The ftf creation just delete fwinfo from the downloaded folder. Then you flash the firmware. Flashtool won't recognize The d6633 but Will ask you what Phone you have. Select D66xx and IT starts.
So now your phone says it's a d6633? And there aren't any bugs? What are the prerequisites for using the flashtool to flash an ftf? Sorry just got this phone new(locked bootloader no root)

Have you tested the radio bands to see if they all work the same as a D6633? Curious as thinking of buying one, but the D6683 has less working bands.
D6683 LTE radio
Hi, I am also interested in finding out whether D6683 have a hardware radio for the LTE 800Mhz band. I think other models (e.g. D6633) have it. If D6683 have it then it should just be a matter of software tweaking, what procedures can I refer to for activating this LTE frequency? Thanks.

I think it may not work well, asked the same question in another thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=63032397
Hello,
does the LTE-Band 20 (800 MHz) work?
Thanks,
Tom
Would be unstable and probably not functional unfortunately
Hello
Is there one wants to experience the renovation Marshmallow D6633 to D6683 model?
I just bought Z3 ( yeah I know, I'm a little late to the party ) and as the title says, is there a guide I can use for my specific firmware? I want to install a stock Sony unbranded ROM ( because I have a T-Mobile branded ROM ) and root it.
The info for rooting/flashing stock on Z3 is so fragmented on the forum that I'm unsure where to start. I've read the "how to root and install recovery on locked BL for noobs", but it mentions a different firmware - can I still use it for mine?
Thanks!

I need the 18.3.C.0.37 FTF firmware file (the customized UK version) for my Xperia M2 D2303. I want to unlock my bootloader and install a custom ROM. I found this firmware version for Vodafone UK but I don't have/want a Vodafone SIM. Does anyone have the unlocked version?
Thanks!
customized means the rom comes with some extra apps (ex. Vodafone apps), so it is carrier free also as i know you dont need to 0.37 or whatever, just get the code and unlock your bootloader (i unlocked mine at .175)
