Hi chaps, on my unlocked s8+ i have an annoying ascending ringtone, I don't have it on my S7 Edge, and I can't find a switch to disable it and simply have a "linear" ringtone (with the same volume from the very first ring).
I'd appreciate your help.

Is it possible to change the settings for phone ringtone to behave like the notification ringtone which only rings once?
I don't want my phone ringtone to keep playing but only ring once instead.

I can find how to change the ringtone for the phone, but to change the ringtone for text messages, I haven't been able to find it, went to Bestbuy to ask the samsung rep and he couldn't find it either.
The text message ringtone is a little ring followed by a knocking sound.
Settings-Ringtones is for the phone call ringtone
Settings-messages there are no options for changing the text message ringtone. I have looked on the phone in the gear app Notifications and nothing
I too have the same problem. Unable to change text message notification on the S2 3G (Verizon).
Mine is somehow is a bell sound. (not the same as my phone's text notification sound)

Yesterday i update TWRP in my mi5s plus, to ver 3230, and after that, miui 10 ver xiaomi.eu multi MI5S Plus 8.10.25_v10-8.0.
But now there's a problem with ringtones. When i set ringtone AAA to all contacts, i can hear it when i chose menu. But when somebody call's, all it's silent. But when i set other contact with one specific ringtone BBB, and this contact call's i can heare ringtone BBB. But when i will set ringtone BBB to all contacts, when somebody call's me, all it's silent.
Anybody know's the solution of this?
check if the default ring tone is still set. Had a similar problem, where the ring tone was unselected for some reason
I'm rooted on latest a11. I set my Phone ringtone to a ring sound. When I slide the Phone volume slider to change volume, the alarm ringtone rings. I may need to reflash factory image if no one else has this issue.
Edit: NM, Dumbass here. Thought Phone volume should be it's ringtone, but Ring and notification volume uses it.
