[ROM] Flyme OS Latest 4.5.4.2 for Mi4i

Hi all my dear Miui users,
Finally the wait is over and you can download all new Flyme os for mi4i not just flyme can be called Fly me. As i see most of them waiting for an eye-striking Rom without any bugs I Present you the Flyme. This is the UI for Meizu phones, and also an customizable rom with hidden features leaving us in a mystery.
What is flyme OS ?
Flyme OS is a stock and after market firmware developed by Meizu for smartphones based on the Android operating system. Some its key features are completely redesigned apps, one-handed usability and performance optimizations. The initial version, Flyme OS 1.0 based on Android 4.0.3 was released on Juny 12, 2012. It was praised by critics for its simple yet beautiful interface design. Flyme OS 2.0 was released later in 2012 . It brought improved cloud services and build-in root support, among other improvements. Flyme OS 3.0 was released together . It was one of the first Android firmwares to integrate a flat UI. Since Flyme OS 3.0, Dirac HD Sound is integrated, bringing an improved audio experience through a certain number of ear and headphones. The successor the Flyme OS 3.0, Flyme OS 4.0 was released in 2014.The current version of Flyme OS, Flyme OS 4.5, is based on Android Lollipop.
So to start enjoying Meizu in your phone [ I mean Flyme os in Mi4i ] .
Requirements for flashing Flyme:
A working Mi4i phone with enabled USB debugging
To enable USB Debugging Tap on MIUI Version 7 times and go to additional settings then to developer options - scroll down and look for it
Your Mi4i should have either 5.6.11 or 6.6.10 MIUI version so as not to have any bootloop
Rooted phone with a custom recovery like TWRP installed [ twrp is recommended]
Download Gapps and Flyme for Mi4i in root of your device storage with links at last
Phone Battery Charged Above 70% At Least.
Backup the original system data (contacts, SMS, application data, etc.)
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
Boot into recovery
Clear Data.
Clear Cache.
Clear Dalvik Cache.
Flash flyme_MI4I file from from internal SDCard.
Clear Cache and Clear Dalvik Cache.
Reboot.
Note in the initial boot it takes 5-10 minutes and phone gets hot like red hot iron. and after booting then retart and install Gapps

camera? does its better than other cusrom?

I flash this rom today, but mobile network can not activated. I set an APN, turn on the setting and others which necessary, but still not active.

camera feedback?

Bugs I've experienced so far(about 1hr of use):
Mobile Data toggle not working in QS.
Whatsapp force closing everytime.
When switching data sim ,cannot change data sims anymore.
UI is good but needs improvement.

some bugs maybe because it is built for k-30. But it is still a beta version and more update will come soon. Thanks for testing rom .

Whenever you face this type of error just do these things:
Go to recovery
Wipe dalvik,system ,data and cache.
Reboot to recovery again
Flash ROM
Happy flashing.

Idk about RAM but there are almost no lags.
Whatsapp still FC sometimes.

Can somebody mirror this?I will have to download it for 14 hours because of the chinese servers...

Maybe there's a fault in your connection. I've faced no issues while downloading.

Every time i open whatsapp or any IM app, it force closes.. That's bug 1. And bug 2 is, the auto brightness doesn't works! Otherwise it's good.

I try to port flymeos rom for our ggrand prime as base cm12.1.
It still on optmiziting app103 and then updating database and finishing boot and boot again and boot again.
SIR, tell me how to fix it. DON'T HAVE DEV ON GRAND PRIME. Sir please.

Very laggy rom with lots of cons...
Such as heating issue.
Network problem persist some time.
Music player bug.
Not so much user friendly.....

I also faced similar issue while porting for a6000 but changing base rom worked for me

I have bought this phone and the look is great. but I feel the tough not super responsive and fingerprint just does a decent job. I wanted to know whether it supports Volte? and if yes how do I turn it on. bcoz if I open the phone information it has the option - " turn off Volte provisioned flag". or do i have to install a new rom ?

I have few roms (cm13, Resurrection Remix, EMUI, Nubia, Aerom etc.)
Mine is busted for the time being.

CynogenMod 13 (yup, still CM, we can't get Leanage OS yet)
I have ported CyanogenMod 13.0 from P9000.
It's usable but two major bugs probably need to be fixed:
Camera HDR mode
Bluetooth (it can't seem to connect to some BT devices like BT Headsets)

I was not able to fix these bugs as my doogee y6 touchscreen is no longer working after I have wrongly flashed a kernel to it. I am trying to revive it but I'm not sure it will ever be recovered, so maybe someone else can try to fix the remaining bugs.
I also would like to ask Y6 owners to share a file called gt1x_debug which I believe can help me recover my touchscreen. You can get it using cat proc/gt1x_debug from either adb or Terminal Emulator app.
Credits to @Deepflex and @Jonny for their work on the P9000.

As for gt1x_debug, here's a direct copy-paste from my terminal to Pastebin.
Just in case there's any form of binary data that's needed, here's the file itself (created by # cp /proc/gt1x_debug /sdcard/gt1x_debug).

Probably not gonna be fixed ...

Nonta72, your port of CM 13.0 works great for me, it only lags for a few seconds on boot-up (which is pretty much expected).
The only issues I seem to have noticed is the HDR functionality not working and the battery being recognized as 3,000 mAh instead of 3,200 mAh, which may be causing the battery drain issues other people seem to be experiencing. Other than those few problems though, the port works great!

I had succeeded to make an improved version before the phone got screwed.
I will upload it soon. And how did you know that the battery is recognized as 3200 mAh ?
My phone used to drain battery even in my stock rom. And the battery drivers are mostly inside the kernel I believe.
I hope Nougat update will fix the battery drain with a new kernel. I heard they will update the Piano Black version. So maybe the normal version too.

Hi,
You seemed to have pulled the configs while the screen was off. That's probably why the second raw of data are 0x00 (which means EMPTY). Try to pull it with screen turned on and phone unlocked. Thanks.

Hi - would this work with the Y6 piano black (DOOGEE Y6 Piano Black 5.5 Inch Fingerprint 4GB RAM 64GB ROM MTK6750 Octa Core 4G Smartphone - from Banggood) ?
I bought it a couple of weeks ago and I need to restart it twice daily as the screen becomes unresponsive.
Should I flash the stock rom first? Does it come already with the stock rom from Banggood, or has it been bloated on the way from the factory?

Yes, it should normally work on Y6 Piano Black because it has the same kernel as the Y6 normal version. But I suggest you port the kernel first. If you can't do that, upload the boot.img from your stock rom. I'll do it for you and you'll test.

Android 7.0 (apparently)
Hi,
While posting my last ROM (FlymeOS 5) for the Y6 on needrom, I stumbled upon this ROM.
Apparently it is Android 7.0 for the Y6.
I'm not sure whether it works or not. But I assume it works as it is Official.
I haven't tested it,
I don't have the Y6 anymore,
I don't know what works and what doesn't,
I don't know if it works on Y6 Piano Black too.
But I'm sure it doesn't work on Y6 Max/Max 3D.

This is Coolpad not Lenovo
And this is a AOSP based Stock ROM ... Volte was fixed after some efforts like in MIUI and Amigo also we have fixed Volte

My jio app is not working it closes again and again automatically what can be done ?

My jio app automatically closes again and again n is unable to start properly I can't check my remaining data it tries to open but fails what can be done the only issue(bug) I came across and in battery saver there all apps can not be optimized that's it the ROM is amazingly smooth !!

I just installed the rom yesterday and everything worked perfectly.
But in the end i reverted back to the stock because of unsupported jio services.
I really appreciate your work. Its been really long since someone made a rom for this phone

dialer and camera are not working after reboot

Dialer
Front camera doesn't work and in rear camera focus doesn't work.

Bro rom is working fine...
But I'm facing few problems
1. Dailer not working
2 something is wrong with camera(not focusing, image not clear, can't take photos in no light room with flash)
3. No contact app...
But u did a fabulous job brother....

There will be call log also not listening in Dialer app and new contact is not saving and gives error like "no app available for this action"
if we direct flash Gapps after ROM installation........
Here I did some tricks to resolve this bug and now my phone has not any bug...
Install ROM zip file as per guidelines of main thread but reboot before flash Gapps....and...do below steps
Replace System/private app/Dialer, CallLogBackup, Contacts, ContactsProvider apk from M version (6.0.1)
And again reboot open once Dialer and contact app reboot again
Then again into TWRP recovery and install Gapps.... Choose Aroma For Gapps.
But make sure to do not select Stock Dialer uninstall options from Gapps menu....
Also make sure to untick Stock camera option from Gapps installation to get Google Camera.......
Apk which will be replace.....

Which porting guide did you refer mate! I have tried almost all porting guides, tried porting form different devices but I'm not able to get past ' powerd by android' logo. I tried to port same andorid version or higher, use different devices, different tools but can't get past andorid logo. Please help with the porting guide. Thanks
