Bought phone from Ebay and found one problem
phone does not read any Sim card and asks for unlocking code
Read in this forum that it is problem with TA section
Now can not do nothing with phone, even to unlock bootloader
I need dump the TA section from another Z5, (one of the under Android in the img. file, weighs approximately 2mb, second one under FlashTool), if anyone has dumps and who do not mind please share them to me.
:good::good::good:
You cannot use the TA from another phone, it will permanently brick the device. You need the original TA for the phone you have in your possession. Have you tried flashing the latest firmware to your phone? If you have and it still doesn't work I would try returning the phone as defective or at least file a dispute with eBay to get your money back.

sorry for my bad english
you cannot restore any drm keys that did not come from the device initially as you will brick the phone, sounds like you bought the phone 2nd hand and the person unlocked the bootloader, unless you have a copy of the drm keys that were backed up before the bootloader was unlocked then you have lost the drm keys

so here is a question, what can i do if i by accident flash the simlock.ta (yes by accident even if flashtool warns you) in a bundle using flashtool, i have no backup of TA (actually whole TA partition was added in the bundle), the bootloader was unlocked
the phone is fine but no signal, the sim card is fine was used in another phone
do i have to go to my carrier service center so they add their own TA stuff and/or change mobo for make it work again or is there a way to fix it by myself using flashtool, the phone its network locked from the start to this carrier

Good luck!
i was using my phone(its never rooted or try to experiment something its just a original factory setted piece) and suddenly my moto g2 gets switched off and when I try to switch it on a black color screen came with just a message saying "AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)"
Please help me with this
I have tried to unlock the bootloader I got the unlock code from motorola and when iam using the next query "fastboot oem unlock xxxxxxxxxx......." then error comes invalid unlock data
please help me in making my phone normal with back to stock rom
Thats a lot, sometimes the most easiest answer is just return the phone to carrier if under Warrenty. If not under Warrenty get another phone, sometimes we might not be able to buy new phone .
Then comes the headache of solving the question ??if rooted, easy install new ROM that works with your phone.
If not rooted then no Warrenty then root device, find other users that have rooted your device. I know I always find the most complicated answer to the simplest question by posting and asking other users. I wish you luck in finding your answer dont forget to share your answer and experience .

Hello everyone so despite trying in the past and the app saying unable to root. I decided to check my Z5 E6653 this morning and to my surprise i got the message that my device can be rooted. Has anyone got this on Nougat 7.1.1 ? Did it work in the end or not? Im sceptical and not sure if i should give it a try. My device is stock with an unlockable bootloader that is still locked currently.
No.

Thanks,i will and take a look.
Even if you get temporary root with some exploit, as soon as you modify the system partition Or boot partition, your device will bootloop forever because the bootloader knows that the system has been tampered.
The only possible thing would be crack the bootloader, which is (almost) impossible.
Simply backup your TA partition with Iovyroot, then unlock the bootloader and install the proper kernel that emulates TA drm protection and lets you root the Rom.
If needed you can restore TA partition and send phone to repair service like it was never unlocked.
I got this phone on ebay, it was listed as "broken with a clean imei and unlocked" but when I got it, what I received was a "clean" imei, as in the imei wasn't there. I was able to recover the imei in other devices, but here on this device I can't, no matter how hard I try, enable diag mode or, in that case, do anything to come close to modify the imei code. It is written on the back of the phone, and I even opened the phone itself, in order to check if some modem cables were disconnected (which isn't the case). I hope that I didn't get the category wrong, and that you can help me. I was thinking of restoring the phone to stock fw, but I don't think it will change anything. For additional info, every code that i found online crashed my phone, and writing *#06#* returns a blank screen with only "imei" and no actual code. Thanks again in advice, please help me.
Settings, about phone, imie 1 and 2 should show

I don't need to see it, i need to edit it, since it doesn't exist in the phone, it has been erased
Flash stock rom again
most of the replays are pointless. the efs partition is wiped. You need something to rewrite the efs partition to restore imei.

Just as I tought, I recovered from it installing the stock fw but now, I've got the error that I was scared of; The network locked error. If someone knows how to network unlock a (probably not payed off) OP7 Pro 5g from sprint, then please let me know. I didn't know all these things when I bought the phone, but now I can't send it back at the other side of the world
