HERE Maps Navigation from Play Store

GPS navigation from Maps & GPS navigation
This is really the best one, I've been using

OsmAnd and OsmAnd+
OsmAnd/OsmAnd+ are based on OpenStreetMap maps. They offer offline maps and navigation plus a whole bunch of other options for customization. You really need to check the Play Store page for the details.
I've been using it for years now. It's great.

[Q] Some programs don't work in my country

I have a big problem with my Nexus S. I bought it from US but actually i live in Turkey. And some programs don't work in my country like navigation, system info widget, even original music player(ICS). What should i do to solve these annoying problems? I couldn't manage to use market enabler. Its just not working (NexusBeam_4.1.0)
You can use alternative apps instead of google's.
Navigation officially works in US and Europe as of now. There is a mod of google maps that lets you use navigation anywhere.
Brut mod is the mod he mentioned. It is available in xda.

I use an app called Maverick Maps. It's free on the play store. It lets you save maps from various sources (Though not Google) so you can bring them with you. It doesnt' do navigation though.
In order to get offline navigation I think you have to buy a full fledged Navigation app. There are several available on the play store. They are on the expensive side as far as apps go, but if you use it a lot it's way cheaper than buying a stand along Garmin GPS or something. It's also a lot more battery friendly since you don't be constantly using mobile data while you travel.

Nokia here map now available for note 3 and other galaxy phone !!!!

Those looking for an offline navigation can now go to the galaxy app and download Nokia here official map for Samsung Galaxy device....
So hurry and Install the app and be tension free from Google maps which requires Internet connection for Voice Navigation..
But shows an error (SIG_FAILED)
I am Rooted and with Fast & Furious Rom .
Any one know how to get out of this situation...
I have the exact same error, i'm also rooted, don't know if it has any effect on downloads.
It's the first app in Galaxy Apps that gives me this error, i never had problems installing apps from the Galaxy Apps.
Fantastic, can and if yes, where can I download countries to my computer instead of phone?
I am rooted with X-Note ROM and Here works fine. So root is not a problem.
There are comments about installation failure in reviews section in Galaxy App Store and response from Here team telling that old version of Galaxy App Store can cause installation problems and suggestion to update app store.
Installed, Works perfectly. My only issue is I cant login to my HERE Account, It keeps saying Incorrect Email/Password - Which the same works fine on HERE Web. A few more smooth updates, and I hope I can get rid of Google Maps.
Installed & working perfectly, voice navigation working without internet, very good app

Couldn't install via net (deleted S Browser a long time ago), but reinstalled the Samsung Galaxy Apps apk and installed from there.
Working perfectly, and a nicer UI than OSMand, my default nav tool. Thanks to the OP for the tip.
Where are you guys downloading this Nokia here app ? it's not on the play store i did a quick search and i found Here by Varve is that the one ????
LOL!! My bad i found it its on the Galaxy App store Thank
it installed flawlessly awesome thanks

Google navigation

I'm planning on buying the gear S3.
My question is, if I set Google navigation on my phone will I get notifications for the trip on the gear S3?

Not that I know of. Currently Google Maps doesn't work on the S3. You can use Here Maps though, it provides turn by turn navigation on the watch, both for walking and driving.
Doubt it since it's the Google Maps app that does an overlay on your phone and not through notifications. I could be wrong though
Google maps do not work with gear s3 as of yet. Here maps work, but I am not a big fan of it. I am really used to google maps and it was a major let down when I got my gear s3. Wish they would do something about it.
I have used Gear S2/S3 Navigation with Google for driving navigation. Works by vibrating the watch and showing the next driving direction on the watch.
A little late, but Google Navigation is available for the S3 but it doesn't integrate with the phone. The same with Samsung's navigation on the S3, Here WeGo, it doesn't integrate with Samsung Navigation on the phone.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I should have said Navigation sort of. I'm using Google Map, listed on the store as "Map - Google map api used". It got so so reviews but I've used it for navigation and it works fine for me. Some complained about it being in Chinese but it wasn't for me and I mentioned that in my review, which is probably the latest review.

Use Google Maps to trigger TomTom Speed camera app

Hi
I'm running a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and using Google Maps for navigation and TomTom speed cameras for, well, speed camera notification. I'd like to be able to trigger TomTom on when I open Google Maps and shut it down when I close Google maps rather than manually opening and closing each app separately. I don't seem to be able to find a solution on Llama or IFTTT, but maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Any ideas out there for accomplishing this?
Thanks
