Good Afternoon!
I'm trying to create some specific shortcuts for some time but until now no succeed. Then I've downloaded the "Oh My Shortcut" app, but I don't know how to fill the fields in the app. Someone konw it?
For example, a have the activity "com.teslacoilsw.launcher.appgroups.GroupAppListActivity". I just know that "com.teslacoilsw.launcher" is the package.
I have the "Shortcut Master" app, with which I got to create the shortcut in the home screen. But this app doesn't appear in the Shortcut Apps List (Home Screen -> New Sortcut).

Hello, friend! Thanks for the reply. Actually, I have and tried to use the Shortcut Master and the other suggested app won't work for me because I use CM 12.1 (Lollipop based).
One new thing that I've found out today: while I was trying to solve the problem, it came a message saying that the requested command was denied because it is protected.
The strange thing, is that I made the shortcut using the Shortcut Master with the capture tool, but creating the shortcut with the other app results in the message above.
My dilemma is that the Shortcut Master doesn't appear in the Apps List (in the sidebar menu). Thus, I can't use it.

If I remember correctly, when I had last used CM12.1 on my GS3, I had began using the Next Launcher (I'm still using now) and that has a Shortcut feature built into the Launcher.
It also allows for App drawer customization for the Shortcuts too.
Many/most Launchers have this feature but, I can only recommend the Next Launcher since I've been using it for a million years LOL!

I've spent last days in making an app for taking notes. Initially, I wanted to make a shopping list, but then I decided to make an app which allow me to take notes because there are moments when I need to take a quick note. I can't upload it to Google Play because I don't have my own money ( and I'm almost 21 already... ).
I'm still a Tasker newbie
FEATURES:
☆ Possibility to save the current text from text field to a .txt file in a folder named MyNotes, along with the date and the clock when the text was saved. You can save text to same .txt file as much as you want.
☆ Enable a shake option to launch MyNotes.
☆ Enable a persistent notification, which after is touched will run MyNotes.
☆ No ads
That's all the features. I've wanted to add a color picker too for changing the theme, but it went troublesome for me and also then I didn't think themes are that useful for an app like this.

FAQ / other info
1. Who are you?
I'm Robert (Force @xda). I've created this app using Tasker because there are moments when i need to write a quick note and read it later. I'm sure that there are apps much better than this, but i wanted one made with Tasker. I'm addicted to Tasker, but i still noob
2) Why are required network permissions?
Tasker added the permissions automatically according to app actions/features. I've added a button named "XDA thread" which open the xda thread. The button purpose is for writing bugs/reviews/suggestions. There is also a "SHARE" button to contact me through email.
I can remove these 2 buttons if you are concerned. I can also share the xml project.
3) Long press the buttons to see what it does.
4) I would like to know your review, your suggestions and also let me know if you found any bug.
5) The .txt file get saved in the folder named MyNotes in your phone internal memory (most likely /sdcard/ or /sdcard0/).
6. The "X" icon or phone back button minimize the app, so it saves the current text in textfield.

Sure. I've attached it to this post. It isn't that clean, for example the main scene is called SHOPPING because initially I wanted to make a shopping list. I didn't rename since I've exported it as app.
Let me know if you have any questions regarding the project file, or if you think I can make "the code" cleaner.
Also, if you wanna make your app or something and wanna share it, I would like to give credits to me if you are using scene, only if you mind. because I've spent few days working on

I own a Samsung Note 3 so I am asking if could be possible to use the S pen with this project...
It seems nice but you can improve your design

Thanks.. but as you can imagine I am really noob with tasker so also with this app I really don't know where to begin to use S pen with your project... what I would like is the features to open your project when spen is removed and use the pen to write inside your notes...

As far as I can see on internet, you need a plugin to do that. It can't be done alone with Tasker.
This is what you need: Note Buddy (S Pen Helper) . It does what you're looking for, and you don't have to use it with Tasker.
Please check it.

I think your device is a phone. No need use the "leanback version". Its for android box. Exp: Shield, Amazon FireTV, Mibox. For china brand, u need put 2 files “tv_core_hardware.xml” and “tv_features.xml” to /system/etc/permission u can get from http://freaktab.com/forum/developme...te-android-tv-experience-in-r-box-pro-h96-pro

I'm getting a blank blue screen after opening the app and clicking get started. Using the Nexus player.

app worked for me
I installed the on my android TV and the app works great. The only issue I am having is that the app does not show up in my apps on my homescreen. To run this app I have to go to settings - apps - installed apps and then click on cox contour and then run. Is there a way to get this added to my homescreen. Any help with this is really appreciated thanks in advance.

The cox app doesn't work for me on my shield. After logging in my cox credentials the screen goes white. I have tried clearing cache and re-logging doesn't make a difference.

Hello XDA! Since yesterday on my HTC 10 running a custom ROM(don't know if it makes a difference) I get this notification from Google play services. It says account action required and when I tap on it, it asks for my Gmail and password. I put in the right combination and pretty much nothing happens.
The big problem is that almost no Google app works now. YouTube, G+, Hangouts etc. Chrome and others do work tough.
I tried putting in a wrong password and it definitely knows that it's the wrong one so I'm thinking I'm not being hacked.any ideas?
I forgot to add that in settings and Google account it says that sync isn't working, will be back shortly. It's been a whole day though.

Talking about the GoPro app: play (dot) google (dot) com/store/apps/details?id=com.gopro.smarty
This application is a controller for GoPro cameras, and each camera has it's own compatibilty list. I need to deceive this application into thinking that I have a Google Pixel 2 in order to use it the camera that I have.
The way I'm currently trying to do this is editing my phone's build.prop, but I was hoping that someone might help advise me:
1. is it reasonable to expect that editing build.prop will solve the problem? I know this works for the Play Store compatibility, but I dont know if it's as safe to assume that on an app that's already on the phone.
2. what settings should I be changing in build.prop?
3. I'm also trying to find a clean Pixel 2 build.prop file on 8.0.0, but having some difficulty finding one.
I appreciate any help!

I just noticed this today, and I have not installed any apps which I think related to this Pipe icon. It just flash and disappear repeatedly but if I pull the status bar there is no visible notification that I can check.
I checked running apps, I cant seem to find any related apps, I only have messenger, tasker, spotify and other system apps. It seems I could not also find any details through google. I already tried rebooting.

I've seen that image before and your question had made me wonder where...
Please Note: I only seen the image itself but, I've never had it specifically popup on any of my devices. So, in another word, I really don't know specifically what app, action, setting, etc... would cause it to show on your device.
EDIT: I've located the specific image. It seems to have the name "React Native" to it but, I don't know what that is.
Here's what I had located:
