Screen Protectors with Proximity Cutout

I was wondering what luck people had finding screen protectors, preferably wet mount without orange peel effect, that have a cutout for the proximity sensor, or at least have been shown to not affect its function.
I'm trying to decide on what protector to pull the trigger on, so I can have it, and a case before my n4 finally arrives.
In terms of the case I'd love the google bumper, but well... you know... So I guess I'll get some decent TPU case in the meantime.

Best Skins Ever is wet application with minimal orange peel effect, only noticeable when viewed at an angle under lighting, does not affect screen quality at all. Orange peel effect is unavoidable with wet application skins. Supposedly, there is a revised version with the proximity sensor cut out shipping now. I received the earlier version without the cutout and is in the process of having it replaced. Definitely recommend it, only issue I had was with the proximity sensor that should be fixed with the new revised version.
I have bestskinever without proximity cut out, but my sensor works just fine

XO skins, there's no orange Peel effect here, very small area cut out for the proximity sensor.... It goes right to the very edge and an excellent fit... Not ideal for tpu cases but it's doing me until i get a better case.
You can get a case fit version of the skin though.

I ordered the BSE on November 27 and the set I recieved has the cut out for the proximity sensor, so I think they're up to speed sending out the revised version.
Extreme guard no cutout and all seems fine with proximity sensor

I'm using a Terrapin screen protector which DOESN'T have a proximity cut-out but doesn't cause any problems either.
Xoskins are very good.plus they have lifetime warranty and it does have a cut out for the proximity sensor. Wet application, easy to install .
And they have both a regular fit and a case fit one that doesn't go all the way to the edges for those who like to have cases on their phones

Xtremeguard. I just received mine and prox sensor is cutted out.
Skinomi Techskin has the right cutouts and the fit is perfect. No orange peel effect that I see but I just put it on 2 hours ago.
Best skin ever with proximity cut out.
Happy customer

Cases with snap-on screen cover?

I notice that most phone cases tend to protect the back and around the phone but not the glass side. Granted that we most likely put something on to protect the glass but still, phones tend to go into our pockets along with keys and potentially other sharp objects. Then there's the flip cover type of cases that flip on the top or side and will provide additional protection for the phone screen, but come on that might work for palm pcs but how un-cool or annoying it is to hold a flipped over cover over our ears.
Nowadays smartphones don't go on belt-clips but into pockets or purses, so for those of us who take good care of the overly expensive device I thought it would make sense to go with something like the flip-case but not permanently attached. Once I saw someone with a case on some phone that had a front cover that the phone could sort of slide into.. it was sort of similar to the good-ole TI calculator with the sliding cover where the screen could be facing inward or outward at our choosing. There are all kinds of cheap or expensive cases out there but usually there's nothing covering up the screen. The closest accessory that relates to the screen cover concept is the holster which usally have clips to go on belts. I guess a good holster would snap on and become part of the case (as opposed to an external piece) and also allows the phone to face inward or outward as well, so we could have it snap onto the screen and put in pant pockets. Perhaps there's no name for that type of case, but I could imagine many of us would be interested in such a case. I don't own a S4 yet but it doesn't hurt to get prepared. Does anyone have any recommendations for cases that have screen covers like I described?
it is also my problem. And i am looking for it.

Here is a list of cases:
Not sure about this one, but looks pretty dam good! (It comes with a screen protector)
http://extreme-shield.co.uk/products/samsung/samsung-galaxy-s4-sx-bumper.php
This looks good but bulky:

Not a bad looker:
http://www.otterbox.com/samsung-galaxy-s4-cases/samsung-galaxy-s4-cases,default,sc.html
All you need to do is google what you want and you will get.
Look into the Trident Cyclops case. Its a two layer, three piece case with a snap on front and rear with a built in front cover. It isnt near as bulky as the Trident Kraken but still has similar protective properties.

Thanks for the recommendations. Some of those are nice but I can't really tell if they have screen covers. They might have the see-through plastic or glass front cover but I'm not sure how well those affect touchscreen sensitivity. I know there are tons of phone cases out there if we google for them, but there's no distinctive name for screen cover so it's hard to find one simply by arbitrarily going to hundreds of cases. For example when we say "flip case" we know what it is, but cases with screen covers aren't popular enough to have specific common name. But like I said before maybe 'holster' is the closest name of the piece that serves similar purpose of protecting the screen, but most of them are designed for belt-clips and not meant to be part of the phone case where the user has the option of using it as the screen cover or another layer of back cover. Hopefully phone case designers will catch on to realize that most smartphones nowadays go into pant pockets or purses, so a screen cover for them would be useful. People might think that there's no need for screen covers if we put screen protectors on the phones. Perhaps that might be true if using the expensive screen protectors, but we're talking about actual screen covers that saves the screen from scratches here.

Give seido some time to make a rugged combo holster case , they made a Nice one for the old evo and photon 4g
Or use otter, im in the same boat I want the front and back snap cover style that drops over notification area , or something thin but with otterbox type protection.
I may be stuck with otter.... hate to give up the thin s4 just to protect it but I will at all costs.

Oh yeah those Seido cases look slick. Actually I kinda don't mind if the holster/screen cover piece makes the phone a bit bulky. The S4 is so thin that it could break in the pocket if something accidentally hit on it. I think some people said that their S4 screen shattered while in there pocket. So the case and screen cover make the phone a bit thicker, making it a bit less likely to bend and break.

case to protect camera lens

Hi all,
Anyone know of any hard case that makes the camera lens sit below the case? Meaning, when i put it flat on the table, the camera lens cover does not touch the surface.
Thanks in advanced

Spigen Neo Hybrid or other series does the job. You may take a look from their website.
Otterbox Defender case...... Protect your $700+ investment.
Also the original s-view cover.

The Samsung Protective Cover protects it. Also if you get a Wireless Charging Back, that will work as well if you don't want a case.

Verus case covers camera lens

Okay, we all know about the Verus case covering the laser autofocus and the hole over the charging port being too small, but I've also discovered that the case is covering part of my camera lens. It covers the bottom part from around 5-7 o'clock. See attached pic.
Anyone else?
Edit: Tapatalk is force closing when trying to attach my image... Here's a link until Tapatalk stops being an ass.

Where's the pic?
This doesn't appear to obstruct the actual lens, just the gray ring around it? Can you see it when you use the camera? If anything, it's protecting that back glass more by covering it.
the lens is the middle circle, the outer ring is not part of the lens.
I just wasn't sure one, if the outer part was also the lens, or two, if it was covering any part of the camera responsible for allowing light to enter.

My versus case has a different cutout for the camera but still covers the same part of that outer ring. What is that outer ring for ?

Think you're right, just used a piece of paper to cover the bottom of that and no effect I can see at all.
Usually those metallic rings are so you can attach a magnetic camera lens to the outside.

Forgot about these. Good call.
Verus corrected the problem of the obstruction of the laser autofocus but I found the Google-supplied charger did not fit in the USB cut out on this case. Had to buy the Google case which fits perfectly.

Question Recomendations ffor good flip cover case for the device?

I bought a cheap case and as it turns out its cover is magnetized and so when I flip the cover to the back it turns the screen off and I can't turn it back on until I unfold the cover, which makes very bothersome to use. Any recommendations for covers that have been provden on the device where this doesn't happen?
I was wondering the same
