Hello guys,
I'm on the Oreo 8.0.0.321 (C636log). Initially PiP worked on YouTube but now it has stopped.
Any ideas please?

Just go to settings and search for pip it'll appear, tap on it and go down the list to picture in picture then enable pip for the apps you want (if they are available) & it should work; did for me at first, don't know why it isn't working now.
It hasn't worked for me. I'm on the same build as you.
Edit : maps works but not YouTube

it never worked for me it has pip in setting but when u go to the app you cant find it

You aren't supposed to find it.
On the first time I was watching a video on YouTube and had to go straight to homescreen and voila! PiP was running on bottom right while I was doing my thing. It was drawn over any app I opened and I could resize it or change its location till I finished.
Now, it doesn't

Very odd,I can see the 1440p option but it won't let me select it. I downloaded the app from android police, is there a bug in it?
If I click on the 1440 option, then go back into the cog and check again, it hasn't taken.

Works fine here... Installed app. Went to Costa Rica video. Pressed the menu dots, changed to 1440. Pressed menu again, video still @ 1440...

hmm, tried rebooting and still the same issue. if I click it then when I go back in a second time then a different option has been chosen.

+1 i select 1440 and when return to open menú the option is in 720

When the new apk installed
Go to system/app and delete YouTube apk and odex
Go to settings/aplications/download...search YouTube and clear data and unistall the new apk
Reinstall de new version again and the 2k
you can try first erase data and reset to see if it works

Awesome. The suggestion works. Now want I'm looking for is how to play DVD on Galaxy S6. I got a large DVD collection, and I wanna rip some movie off DVD discs for playback on my Galaxy S6 on the go. Walking through the forum, not any solution yet, and I finally found out an easy way to get DVD to Galaxy S6 via Google searching. Anyhow a DVD ripping tool like Brorsoft's DVD ripper is the key.
Could anyone explain to me how to turn off the nuplayer? I don't know what it means to go into developer settings. Instructions would be much appreciated
Hi, Go to About Phone, and look for a Build Number. Tap on those words 7 times and you should get a notification saying you have unlocked developer options. Press back and you should see Developer Options in your Settings menu. The player setting is in there.

Nope nothing is lost.
To get developer settings to show
Setting -about phone- tap build number 7 times.
Scroll down in developer settings and uncheck nu player.
Go check on Play Store, a new update of Snapchat is available . no more problems for me with videos and no need to go in Developer menu ☺

Go to your pboes settings, then to "system" then to "about device" tap the "build number" 6 or 7 times quickly a pop up will appear saying "developer settings now enabled" then click the back button once then click "developer settings" scroll down to media then uncheck "nuplayer"

Gravitybox can change so many things it can do wonders but can also be a pain.
Is changing the rotation setting using the quick settings really too much hassle anyway?

if you have twitter you will know the pain evry time you watch video and then rotate screen and then rotate screen off and thene rotate screen on WE HAVE NEW VIDEO :laugh:

Use a video player that supports portrait viewing as well and done? :good: (I don't use Twitter but did install other player for this reason as well).

How do you get the mirror get in the short cut menu. Currently, my phone do not show this as an option.

This made it worth signing up on XDA-Developers. I've been banging my head for about a month trying to find this setting!
Ifont not working in some apps like playstore, WhatsApp etc. is there any solution for this.

Go to Settings -> Display->Font->it should be selected as Roboto and not oneplus slate font as ifont overrides default Roboto font with your custom font.

Yes at first I didn't realize what you were talking about but now I see that you're talking about the menu of the Play Store correct?
If you notice when you go into your Gmail or your calendar and pull up the menu it's the same way. The best explanation I can give you is either 1 these fonts are hardcoded and cannot be changed or 2 the menus of these apps are server-side. I've also taking a screenshot of me typing this and it too is in a normal font and not the one I have chosen. Look at the URL versus what I have typed.
