[APP] New Flash 10.72.1 update!

What are your thoughts?
I think its a bit better. But I must be optimistic.

The new update actually caused a fc in browser for the first timever. I have have rooted nexus running froyo. Modacos froyo. Wtf?

There is no update, still beta?

What FC?
I'm running the original one dropped off by Paul. Zero issues.

FC = Force close, same happend to me first time...
Can't notice any difference to be honest Maybe a tiny tiny bit

Now i can put in full size every flash element by long pressing on it and select the full screen icon. I can't remember if you could do that before.

Video rendering frame rate seems to have improved a bit

i don't know if b4 the update vimeo worked for any of you guys but it now works for me, and hbo's website wasnt really working for me b4 but now with this update its working better then b4!

Clicking on the full screen icon worked before i used it all the time

can someone post the apk please? its not appearing in my market.
i changed my fingerprint in build.prop back to 2.1 and am guessing thats why i cant see it?

Obviously since the flash player download only shows up for 2.2 only.

Double tapping a video always full screens it for me.....

I guess that is only if you don't have it installed. I installed Flash then changed my build file and the update came up fine.

For me, a real test of Flash is to use Dolphin Browser HD and set my UA to Desktop and then hit www.disney.com.
I used to work for them supporting the site and it's one of the more intensive flash sites out there. What I love is that after the update, it works smooth as silk. EVERY imbedded video plays flawlessly and smooth (over 3G) and can navigate the site without issue.

That stopped working for me before the update, I was hoping this update would fix it; no go, but long press works fine so no big deal.

Can someone help me? I've had flash install since I updated to 2.2 and now when I go to the market can not find the flash player. I also tried adobe site and follow the link then I get "requested item not found " anyone knows what's wrong or can help?? Unrooted.

Correct Settings for CM7 Video Recording in 720P...Please Help!!

I love CM7 and want to go back to it ASAP, and don't even care about the little bugs it has, and also don't care about the 1080P soft reboot issue either. Everyone says you can just set the video recorder to 720P and it should work fine right? Well, when I set it to ANY settings, the video comes out all distorted and weird looking??? Is it because the only way to record is in wide (sideways/landscape)?? Please someone tell me how the heck do you record (and playback) in 720P on CM7 SelfKang.

Really??? Not one reply??? So does everyone on CM7 just never use their camcorder? Ya gotta love the support on here.

Actually bro, I've wondered the same thing. I love CM7 for all it has to offer. Great ROM and great speed. I don't usually use the camera much, but, the other day I was toying with it, and I've read all the threads in regards to the 1080p issue and thought about simply changing it to 720p. Simple right? Or you would think so anyway, well, I still haven't found how to exactly, however, I have used the camera after setting it to high(30m), under the high setting and haven't rebooted yet. I've also just noticed that the zoom doesn't appear to be working. I'm on the sensation super CM7 rom, but both under the same framework? one would think so anyway.. if you find a solution, please post!

Thank you, finally a response. I have never gotten zoom to work either? Everyone says you can tap to zoom, but it does nothing for me. My issue is still how to get the video camera to work. Every video looks as if it's clear, but it looks all tilted and weird. I hope someone else responds with the magic answer. I have asked this question a couple times and nothing. I know someone has this down pat, they have to. Is this some deep dark hidden secret??

interesting.. I just recorded a little over 3 mins of video, then played it through the gallery and it looked fine..

sorry to put it bluntly but the CM7/Miui camera is ****e and has been ****e for a long time on lots of devices.
if you ever need to use this functionality, forget about CM7

I am using the Tiamat kernel and can easily record over 3 minutes with no soft reboots and that is in 1080P. Now the video comes out all distorted and upside down!
So I went into system with file manager and did what is recommended over in the CM7 thread and that is to go into System\ETC and edit media_profiles.xml and change the 1920x1088 settings to 1280x720 save exit from file manager and reboot.
Works fine this way.

What did you use to edit it? I can't edit it through File Manager for some reason.

Root Explorer on the Market, it's a pay app, but it's worth it.

Do you know if it's also ok to change the duration to more than "60"? Something like 3hrs so... "180"? As long as the space was available on the sd card. I just prefer to close it when i'm ready.
Also maybe changing the fps from 30 to 60? Heh, I'll probably try it anyways, doubt it would blow up the phone. But first yes, thanks, it's nice having 720p working.

Doesn't resize to match resolution of screen but only loose a small strip down one side so no big issue.

yer i get the same with kingdroid..hoping some genius can alter it a bit for us eventually

Loads on my US Galaxy S3 (Verizon). Weather won't load. Says "Enable location services and mobile data to update weather" both of which are enabled (I turned Wi-Fi off, I have full 4G, etc). Looks good other than no weather. I will have to try more later. Thanks for posting.

Drive Link was doing the same for me since I installed it shortly after Denny uploaded it (thanks btw!). It suddenly kicked into life this afternoon for no apparant reason, so it may be worth persisting with it.
Got to say despite a handful of niggles, I do like it as an in-car player etc. The full screen seems to work fine on my stock note.
Niggles I have found are that:
Media control from my Bluetooth car stereo does not work, with or without the media control app from the play store.
scrobbling to last.fm doesn't work (so my playing stats are going down)
There is no easy way I have found to skip back to the drive now app from navigation, other than long pressing the home button and switching using task manager, which seems a bit clunky
I am still trying to find way to add a "shuffle all" button as a shortcut, instead of selecting "All Songs", playing, and then shuffling.
It has not automatically picked up my starred locations from Google Maps/Navigation
Other than that I like it a lot, and am hughly appreciative of Denny for posting the APK.

word of warning to anyone that wants to use this with mirror link (specifically a sony HU) this on my note caused my HU to boot loop. had to reset it

Installed yesterday and got same issue with weather and location but turned on this morning and working fine. Ill have to play around with it today when get a chance.

I have noticed that when you want to exit from Facebook app from back button you can notice that the home screen do something like zoom or something...
Has anyone notice this? Is there any solution?

No it doesn't. You might be talking about something else. Just tried 8 other apps and the Facebook one is the only one that does it.

That's the one I played with the most when I got my S8+ and it didn't work well; crashed on me pretty often and wouldn't take the odd S8+ resolution. That was over a week ago but it seems there was an update since. I guess they fixed it for the S8+. It very works well now and quality is great. I paid for it, I'm glad they fixed whatever there was to fix :good:
Edit: I don't know how you managed to upload it in HD, @Bautinho88, but I've tried with 6 videos on both my phone (Resolution: WQHD+ / YouTube app) and my computer and the best quality I get is 480p60.

Weird that only happens when facebook is a desktop icon. It doesnt do it from the app drawer

I guess YouTube takes some time before showing it in HD. When I first opened your video, all HD options were there. It's now showing all HD options on my videos now. We can get back on topic now :good:

I am having the same issue. I noticed that this only started to happen couple days ago. I didn't experience this issue with the same setup when I got the phone.

Yep the icon being on the home page is the cause - WHY, I don't understand.. it's like the FB icon has some sort of weird properties that a regular icon doesn't have.. kind of creepy tbh.
I've been considering deleting FB for awhile.. may just finally be time.

Just go to settings and search for pip it'll appear, tap on it and go down the list to picture in picture then enable pip for the apps you want (if they are available) & it should work; did for me at first, don't know why it isn't working now.

It hasn't worked for me. I'm on the same build as you.

You aren't supposed to find it.
On the first time I was watching a video on YouTube and had to go straight to homescreen and voila! PiP was running on bottom right while I was doing my thing. It was drawn over any app I opened and I could resize it or change its location till I finished.
Now, it doesn't
