AT&T LG Urbane 2 Unlock - LG Watch Urbane 2

Do I need to unlock it before selling it? It's paid off at AT&T. Having lots of difficulty finding info about unlocking this device....or does it come factory unlocked?

It isn't locked at all. It was sold to you unlocked.

Thank you.

Rooting and Unlocking Bootloader

Sorry if I missed this post somewhere. Was considering buying the Moto G from either Boost or Verizon prepaid. I see numerous ROM's for this phone, but was wondering if this phone is still able to be bootloader unlocked/rooted for either carrier (I ask STILL because I got burned on the LG L9 encrypted bootloader on newer models). I did see posts about paying some guy in china to unlock it, is there an alternative? Thanks all!

[Q] How to Unlock Bootloader on Moto G '13 Model

Hello everyone,
I am sure that this has been asked and answered before, but I have not found much solutions beyond the common "wait and see what happens".
My problem is that I own a 16GB 2013 Motorola Moto G which I purchased unlocked and with a Global GSM from Amazon in March and am having trouble unlocking the boot loader. I am currently connected to the Vodafone EG network (although not on a plan- it is prepaid).
I have gone through all the steps from [I am not allowed to post the link, but it's legit and consistent with all other tutorials.] but am told by the Motorola website that my phone cannot be unlocked. On the Motorola forums, it only states that Moto Gs sold by AT&T cannot be unlocked, so I am confused as the why the phone which I bought unlocked does not work.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I should go around rooting my phone? Is there any way to root it without directly unlocking the boot loader from Motorola? Would it work if I reset the phone/removed the SIM card?
Thanks.

$25 but its worth it. Think about all the freedom you get by unlocking the bootloader.
Sounds great, except the website states it only works on Moto Gs running 4.4.3 or lower. I am running 4.4.4 (sorry I forgot to mention that). Any suggestions?
Try to copy the code by hand
Download it and run it. Sunshine will first do a bunch of comparability tests. Only when the app knows its compatible it will pause and ask for payment. Once you pay, and if it doesn't work, they guarantee a refund on their site. Download it and try it, can't hurt. The site also states that it might work on some devices running 4.4.4
Also you stated that the Motorola website states only att phones cannot be unlocked. Maybe your phone cannot be unlocked because it was probably on the att network before it was gsm unlocked.

Not an answer to your current issue but may help with next one...
It's best to check these issues before you decide to buy a device. As a rule, avoid carrier-branded and/or network-locked devices unless the benefit to you outweighs the reality that your device belongs to that carrier/network forever and is likely permanently bootloader locked.
Carrier devices aren't discounted or subsidized usually, they are amortized. Overall, you may end up paying more than buying an unlocked device outright separately from a mobile plan.
Did sunshine work?

rooting an unlocked phone

I have an LG Aristo 2, it is a Metro phone but I bought it unlocked and am using it on the [/sarcasm] awesomely great Freedompop [/sarcasmoff]. So it is on the ATT network.
If I root it, am I going to lose the unlock? I didn't unlock it, don't have any codes, I bought it supposedly new and unlocked. I want to get rid of all the Metro bloatware and most of the Google stuff too, thus the reason for rooting.
Thanks in advance.

Well, after diving deeper into the well here, I found my answer. It should remain unlocked.

Help unlocking t-mo 8t bootloader

Can't get t-mo to give me the sim unlock to get my bootloader done. Any help by chance?
From what I understand is this; the people who are unlocking our SIM's are risking there job so they all sorta retired. Maybe one of them will see this and help you out. IN the meantime...
Have you tried Googling? I found this as the first site: How To Unlock T-Mobile OnePlus 8T | UnlockLocks.COM
They have a sim unlock service. There are others but I just wanted to illustrate that there are companies that can do what T-Mobile refuses to do.
I checked but not willing to pay 89.95 just so I can unlock my bootloader.

Question Rooting/Bootloader Unlock for T-Mo variant

Hey all,
My family's looking at switching to T-Mo as my son's in the military and that have a great plan for that. I've always had unlocked OP phones, so the T-Mo variant is new to me. I've seen there's different things you had to do to unlock it.
Is it rootable without the SIM unlock? And the only way to unlock the bootloader is to have the SIM unlocked, correct?
And wasn't there a way to get it unlocked if you're a developer - even if it's not paid off?
Just looking at my options you see if T-Mo would be doable for me.
Thanks!

Applies to the 9 as well.
Honestly man, it's just easier to have the guy on here do it for you. T-mobile seem to be real pricks when it comes to unlocking these phones.
Just make sure to throw him a few bucks cause he will save you a huge frustration

Hello! I have unlocked the bootloader, how to root T-MOBILE ONEPLUS 9! I don’t have boot.img
Bumping
I saw that there's an MSM tool to convert the TMo version to the Global version.
Of course this is after the SIM unlock.
I've done some reading but I'm not sure I'm understanding.
I seem to remember there was something weird about the modems on TMo's version. Does the conversion take care of that so it's all "normal" after that?
And I take it I can unblock the bootloader normally after that too, correct?
I've worked on my son's unlocked 9 and that's all fine. But I'll a little confused on TMo's. Never worked with out and we're in the process of switching over.
Just wondering so I can determine off I'll get TMo's or wait a bit to get the unlocked version.
Thanks,
Super

Absolutely, I could not get them to unlock my 9 despite them doing so on my 7 pro and 8. Something definitely changed and the dude doing helping out on here saved me.
