Hi,
I'm looking for a good camera app for CM12 to replace HTC Camera app.
I know that there are a lot of app on the PlayStore but I can't find an app that have Burst mode , HDR mode and slow-motion video capture.

You should try this:

But on non sense based roms quality of photos will be very poor due to missing htc image chip libs (drivers) in non sense based roms.

In the old time, you really need a stock camera to get the best quality out but I think now some of 3rd party apps actually done a good job without dedicated ISP like Snap Camera HDR(also supports video recording on our phone [email protected] 20Mbit).
I've been tested it(just a couple of days before) on One S and found result isn't bad for a non-stock camera, the older ver of Snap Camera HDR is bad quality but recent ver does improved much. I actually think that the quality is real close to stock but the zero shutter lag function doesn't seems to be working on our phone and buggy, don't enable it. I set the JPEG quality to best, disabled preview cropping, turn the sharpen to 10~ 15 from 5(default is too soft) and you may also want to enable Stable Shot as well.

Playstore ver only available to 5.4 while the latest one on XDA is 6.3

Some guys also reported CameraNext Modded is a good camera on CM12, maybe give it a try too.

[APP][FEEDBACK] Arnova8G2's Google Camera Port

I think I got some problem on ASUS Zenfone 3 (ZE520KL/ZE552KL). I can't select Resolution more than 9.4 MP (rear camera)
But Front camera is working well.

That's normal. The camera mod is from pixel devices which don't have 16mo sensors. Therefore 16mp won't work in camera ports too

Best pixel camera port, I use for since version 5. It's a major go!

Working great on my Oreo ZE552KL, just the AR stickers feature it's broken.

Only 9.4 mp max resolution, what can be done to solve this?

The hdr+ doesn't work on the arnova version though works on the BCG version. The app will often crash when a scene is dark or more than two pictures are clicked.
These observations are off the stock and custom roms both on Oreo. @Arnova8G2 I'VE attached the logs

weirdly enough still doesn't work with a few combinations Tried the combinations that used to work on my gemini(mi5).Thanks for your efforts @Arnova8G2. let me know if alog is required.

It would be nice if Google Camera HDR+ would work at full resolution with ze520kl & ze552kl.

I can not run any of the recommended GCams from version 6. I tested all suggested apks in an attempt to get the latest stable version for ZenFone 3. The version that is steadily running for this model is: "GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod -Arnova8G2-V7beta-test-9.apk "

Having ZS570KL here. Problem with Autofocus. Currently available to be use software Pxiel2Mod V7 Beta 9. Suspecting Gcam not using Laser AF that cause this issue.

Portrait sometimes not work just switch to back cam and switch to front cam in portrait mode will work back.

is it possible to create twrp patch for those who dont use magisk?

Front Camera is Messed up Its now Unpredictable sometimes its works fine some time its blacked even in good lightning condition

I have tested too many times on Mcaosp Rom with derp kernel on this patch front camera
HDR+ no black image even I review the photos and come back no any issue or Extreme lowlight . but sometimes on portrait gave black image just switch to back cam and switch to front back HDR+ will work again.

Which options do you see working better? Are you using default settings?
I have just installed, and despite al developer options, I can't see any improvements (yet!).

Every Google Camera 6 I've tried had the same problems in my G6+:
- Every version's video recording doesn't work well at 60fps (tested the frames with MediaInfo, gets average of 10~20 fps for some reason), 30fps works stable. Moto cam outputs 60fps perfectly.
- Slow Motion crashing in some versions but it was fixed changing "240FPS" to "120FPS" because I think this phone can't output 240
- Night pictures (without using night mode) look weird, the GCAM tries to light it up too much and it ends up looking bad and reddish. Night mode pics look better but again makes the pic like it's day and not night. Default cam at night has less detail but pictures don't look bad, I guess this is a matter of preference. It's probably the phone and I know night pictures look better in other phones but I have zero knowledge of photography to play with the options.
Also tried the last Google Camera 5 version and the video recording at 60fps works properly, no night mode though.
Still, Gcam pics have more detail and look (generally) better than the default Moto cam pics so I will keep testing if I have time.

Olá amigo. Acabei de baixar e instalar o app e quando vou fotografar da erro e fecha o app. As outras funções funcionam muito bem.

Is "portrait" mode here meant to provide bokeh? I can't see any difference between that and the normal camera mode. Also, I think my original camera app on the G6+ had a slider to change the bokeh intensity. I can't seem to find that here?
AFAICT portrait just zooms in a bit more, but both seem to use the same camera on the back.

Bokeh doesn't seem to work with this apk either.

Finally after months of search I found A gcam 7 which has front cam HDR working, it works fine on my havoc 3.2 android 10, only slowmotion doesn't work and too much grain in HDR+ enhanced mode, I use HDR+ only
