Hi, good news you can recover your phone The phone is in a "screen off bootloop". Try to hold "vol+" and "power" buttons for 8-9 seconds, release all, hold "vol-" and plug it to the computer. If it doesn't work try again.
You can plug it in a wall charger at least one hour before trying, the bootloop drains the battery quickly. If at the end it doesn't work you will have to remove the backplate and unplug/replug the battery.

had the same problem with my Xperia e even with the fastboot mode selected in the flashtool.
uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling the drivers helped.
Also for some strange reason if mouse was plugged in the laptop, it didn't work too. Hope this helps.

Try connecting the pone to the USB cable holding vol+ and in the same moment u connect the phone press power button (just click it, don't hold it more than 1 second)
boot it in system if you can and reboot it from flashtool? -> select fastboot and then reboot to fastboot via adb

Try doing this...
1. Uninstall Flashtools, PC Companion and SUS
2. Reboot PC
3. Install PCC, SUS and Flashtools

yes i want fastboot and i pressed vol+
If your bootloader is not unlockable,
Then your device will not allow fastboot.. Fastboot can be accessed only by devices with unlockable bootloader.. Verify if you can unlock your bootloader..

the phone dont start, it's go SONY logo and stoped boot.
PLEASE HELP!!:crying::crying:
Hey guys, so I was updating to latest Kitkat firmware OTA and the android guy with the red exclamation point appeared and boot looped.
So, I used Flashtool to correct this and... the phone died.
Can't power on, doesn't vibrate, no SONY logo, no LED blinking, nothing.
Windows installs drivers for QHSUSB_BULK and that's it.
In device manager it appears as SOMC Flash Device anda flashtool detects it but, I can't do anything about it.

That's what I get.
From searching around I think the boot partition is gone (?)
Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm completly stuck here.
Did you try to turn it off with reset by the sim card? Then hold volume down (- button) connect to usb and flash ftf.
Good Luck.

It probably (hopefully) got stuck. Try to (soft) reset it. There is a very small button next to the SIM card slot. You would need a needle or something that small to push it. If that doesn't work I am afraid it would be better to take it to Sony assistance.

I've been using that button since forever...
Do you think it's related to the loader partition or something?
Maybe you ran out of battery? Does your phone charger when you plug in? Also try different usb, reboot your pc then try again. I had softbrick my phones few times but always fix it with Flashtool.
Press power off button (small one by the sim) and leave the phone, Open Flashtool, select ftf wait for the popup dialogue, press volume down, connet phone to usb. This is proces i always do.
Good Luck.

Boot Loop may be a problem
If your device get disconnected every 5-7 seconds than it is a bootloop which is not showing on screen but you can observe it in device manager
And you have to try different key combination to stop that boot loop while flashing

I think I was not suppose to do a full factory reset and then flash Cyncyanogen 12.1. Can this phone still be fixed?
I should have realised that I could not flash non stock custom ROMS when my device cannot be unlocked. I should have downloaded Z5 style in Android development.

You used the last Flashtool v0.9.23.2?
You used the fsc file and excluded all "misc TA" partitions?
If you hold volume down and plug the phone to PC have you the green led?

Yes I used this flashtool. Does not exclude TA misc. It does not turn on the green led. When I try to simultaneously push it down and connect to the pc it just lacks red LED. Sorry for the writing I'm using google translate.

Flashtool asked you to use fsc file, I hope that you answered yes because you forget to exclude TA partitions and your phone is probably dead and you need to replace the motherboard. If the led doesn't turn green you can't repair it.

Hey Guys,
I'm not sure if this issue has been solved, but I was kinda clumsy when i tried to install superSU.zip via twrp (I have TWRP 3.0.2-0)and my Z3 still turns on but wont go to the home screen. I tried downloading the stock firmware and used flashtool but I can't get my phone to flashmode via volume down and plugging it. When I plug it on my laptop (windows 10) while holding any button it shows me the sony logo and nothing happens, no lights. so I turn off the device via the emergency button and holding it down for a few seconds. Good thing is im still able to go to TWRP via turning the phone on and waiting for the purple LED and pressing the volume up and down.
I tried looking for a back up file for my Z3 d6603 and planning to put it on my SD card and restore via TWRP. is my phone really dead? I'm not losing hope yet since i can still charge my phone (i dont see the battery icon though) but it charged from 70 to 83 while plugged in without the red LED and the battery logo.
Can someone please help me with this dilemma? I cant find the right keywords for this problem using google. any help will be much appreciated guys!
bootloop solution
Hello, regarding your question ami happened to me several times when trying to root my old good z1 what you can do if you did not make a backup of your rom, you must have Sony PC Companion on your pc ok and then connect your z3 Off, the pc companion detect the phone and what you have to do is go to the section where it says Support Zone and followed where it says software update of the phone will appear a window that says that the phone could not be found but more abajito says repair phone You click there and start the process ok, look for more reference and accuracy look for a video of it on youtube, I would leave the link but I block it I'll leave you the name of the video and try to find it out, luck. :good::good::good:
