Hey guys. I came across this flashable on an Indian website , tried it out, and it works perfectly! I'm also curious if it's possible to Port it to oreo?

This option is now available whereas on stock oreo and a couple custom ROMs it was not.
Update:
Found the creator on XDA. Hoping he or someone can do this for Oreo.

Probably by dirty flashing rom.
I can confirm it works on my bullhead running oreo 8.1 beta, it awesome,thank you bro
No need porting and no need to dirty flash anything. As far as I know it will only edit the buildprop. Try to paste these lines in your buildprop if the zip doesn't work for you
persist.dbg.ims_volte_enable=1
persist.dbg.volte_avail_ovr=1
persist.dbg.vt_avail_ovr=1
persist.dbg.wfc_avail_ovr=1
persist.radio.rat_on=combine
persist.radio.data_ltd_sys_ind=1
persist.radio.data_con_rprt=1
persist.radio.calls.on.ims=1
To remove it just find these lines in your prop and remove them
I think those build.prop changes only enable the options in the settings. If your network hasn't enabled VoLTE in your SIM it will not actually do anything.

Can confirm this. You have to be enrolled in ims services, which is done on the carrier side. Can check this by accessing dialer menu and the going to phone, hit three dot menu, ims status. If not registered, then volte does not work
Any way to remove this if installed without factory data reset

You need to remove these lines for volte from build.prop file. (You need root access to do this)
I have root access but which lines to remove and only remove value or the title too

I can't find ims status there, is this the advanced information with *#*#4636#*#* ?
Also I wanted to know if your phone originally had the VoLTE feature available?

It should be there using that menu, then phone information, the three dots menu at top left, then ims service status.
No, my carrier doesn't support the pixel since it's not sold in France.

Tried many apps but none is working with stock rom with root. I know gravitybox can do it but I don't want to install xposed framework just for this...
Thank you for the tips in advance.
Custom rom is also no option?
We offer that feature. You could also just lower the brightness/set different steps for the different light sensor values.

Sorry I didn't mention I have to use stock rom due to the fingerprint payment issue.
I just thought if there's a simple way to turn the light off by editing a system file
Tried echo "0" > /sys/class/leds/indicator/bln but no luck.

Fingerprint payment issue? What would a custom rom change? I mean you are rooted already, so I assume you are using Magisk to bypass safetynet.
That will also work on a custom rom.
If your if a carrier specific billing you can use the Magisk Module version of our rom. It is a 180MB magisk module that you can disable anytime to return back to stock.
Else you could edit framework-res to turn off the button lights, should need an edit in services.jar too to bypass signature check ...and make it an magisk module.

This comes as a surprise to me, as I had to manually enable camera2 two days prior in lineageos on whyred.
Anyway, OP, what is the problem with enabling it yourself via twrp? (mount system, open terminal in twrp > advanced then echo the one required line into the build.prop)

Or simply editing the build.prop in the system/ folder: "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1"
Sure you need to root the device but who doesn't in case you have already flashed a custom rom: hiding root from certain apps is not the problem (except Pokemon GO fair enough)

There's magisk module called camera2_api+WhatsApp.zip that enable camera 2 api without conflict with any other app (in this case video calling on WhatsApp), i get it somewhere on di xda but not test it yet, i'll report back tomorrow
Bad english, sorry
Some advice: do not choose ROM just because camera2 API enabled. Enabling camera2 API is very easy. Choose ROM according to your needs and preferences first, then worry about camera2 API.

After installing Pie open beta Oxygen uploaded by @Funk Wizard many will notice that CTS profile comes FALSE in magisk manager while basicintegrity is TRUE.
to pass saferynet.
We have to change fingerprint of build in the build.prop
There are two methods currently. (Works on Hydrogen Open beta too.)
(Third one is magisk module but in android pie ro.build.fingerprint and many other props are not working. And it will not work until magisk update Resetprop)
Method 1:
Manually Edit Build.prop with text editor or other apps.
(Build.prop will be present in /system )
Replace :
Code:
ro.build.fingerprint=OnePlus/OnePlus6/OnePlus6:9/PKQ1.180716.001/1808301430:user/release-keys
With
Code:
ro.build.fingerprint=OnePlus/OnePlus6/OnePlus6:8.1.0/OPM1.171019.011/06140300:user/release-keys
Method 2 :
Replace build.prop in /system with changed lines which is attached below. With proper permission which is " rw- r-- r-- (644) "

Don't worry.. Everything is fine..
Device Fingerprint Is system property which is registered in Google Database of Authorized Device....
When As you can see, Current Fingerprint for OOS Pie Beta 1 is not Registered in Google database so it won't pass SafetyNet..
The Fingerprint which we gone replace is Belong to the OOS based on 8.1 Oreo & registered in Google Database so SafetyNet get passed..
So, It's nothing to Do with Future updates & other things... :fingers-crossed:
Thanks for this..
Trick working fine..

These features could have been added by Nokia mobile itself if they wanted to. But they decided to keep it only for China, going with "Pure stock" Android for the rest of the markets. You can say that it might reduce the speed of the updates, but China variants have been getting updates at almost the same speed as the global variants. It would have been great if they had gone with something like OOS.

Hi!
A recently installed the latest Magisk on stock EMUI 8 ROM.
I want to enable double tap to wake, but the module in Magisk Repo does not work. It shows up in the settings (like on P Smart which I also have), but after enabling that option, doesn't work. Double tap to sleep works.
Is there any way to enable it on this device or this is a hardware related issue?
