Hi guys, whats up?
I have the follow case: my boss was trying to activate the hospot wifi and somehow, changed the device password (don't ask me how he did this ).
The device is connected to the google account, and I can access it through Google Admin, but I do not find an option to "unlock the device".
Does anyone know of any options to unlock the device through google account?
(Of course, the device is a Galaxy S7)

In order to change a device password, he would have had to already know the previous one as it asks for it before allowing you to change it
Go to https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager.
Enter your Google email and password. Click Sign in.
Click Lock.
Enter a new screen lock password and click Lock. You'll now be able to unlock your phone with your new password.
Or
Factory reset the device from recovery and log in with your Google account when it says it has had an unauthorised factory reset

This happened to me with my One S. I think I had to do a factory reset. But try connecting to the internet first. Or rebooting. Cache wipe? Hard reboot.

wut.
No recovery? Really? I'm pretty sure it comes with a stock recovery on it, which can be used for basic functions like wiping.
I don't mean custom recovery. Just try seeing what happen when you hold power +vol up or vol down (try both).
EDIT: Oh I see. It's a Chinese tablet... well, damn.
If there isn't a recovery, then maybe you can use something like Android device manager? I'm really at a loss.

You. Are. Welcome.
i lucked we lucked out... Cerberus was installed and i was able to send an "unlock" txt command. it unlocked but still wanted password after locking again, even when we changed it to PIN lock code. but we where able to turn WiFi on and then the username and password where accepted.
i knew that app would pay off
fix too many pattern attempts android
Factory reset is the best option to restore android device pattern, but after doing this you can lose your contacts and other applications or data. So if factory reset is not suitable for you then you can try the other stuffs:-
Firstly connect your device with your desktop or laptop by using USB cord, but make sure that USB debugging is enabled on your device after that go to ADB Command prompt and type the following commands.
Commands:-
• Adbshell
• cd/data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases
• sqlite3 settings.db
• update system set value=0 where name=’lockpatternautolock’;
• update system set value=0 where name=’lockscreen.lockedout permanently’;
• .quit

I have had my S6 for just one month and the fingerprint scanner has stopped recognizing my fingerprint. The device wont recognize my backup password or google account either. I am pretty sure my backup password is not incorrect and I know my google account information is correct as I still have access to it on my computer. I am able to use android device manager to call and send messages to the phone, but android device manager no longer has the unlock option. I have contacted google directly, but they were unable to provide any solutions. I have also contacted my service provider Sprint and Samsung with no success. I did not register with Samsung find my mobile prior to the incident. I don't have any of my files backed up to the cloud. I recognize that factory reset is the only option now, but I would like to create a backup or at least rescue some of my files before the reset.
I have wifi turned on, but USB debugging is turned off. When I connect to Samsung Kies or Smart Switch, I am prompted to unlock the device.
I have looked into using TWRP to recover files from the device, but I have read that the program no longer works with the S6 since the latest update.
Is there any way to pull files from the device while in recovery mode? Are there any other options available?
I am willing to compensate anyone who is able to help via PayPal

Go back to Android Device Manager and select Lock Device. It should allow you to set a new password to get into the phone.

This results in an error message that says the device is already locked and so a new password will not be set

Is it still asking for the backup password or is it just asking for the Google account?

Good morning, I'm fixing my daughter's vivo v17 pro. Forgot her screen lock password. The phone doesn't have a forgot password option and Google's find my phone was not activated. USB debugging isn't enabled. What utility tool should I use? Thank you very much!
Tool will unlock your phone. But it will also erase your data from phone.
You may require to do factory reset your phone. It will remove password and data.

Thank you, I tried clear data option but it again asks for the password. USB debugging isn't enabled and google account was signed out before. I read that if you enter fastboot mode, USB debugging is not needed? But I ran it on windows 10 and I can't find it on device manager. It only shows up on devices and printers as an unspecified device when it is powered on.

Thanks, what tool is it? SDK tools? Do I have to tear it down to get to the edl test points or will minimal adb and fastboot work? It's working properly but I need to reset it because the screen lock password was forgotten and it was logged out of Google beforehand. It's a vivo v17 pro 1910 with FBE encryption.
I've Oppo A9 2020 (CPH1937) and I forgot the pin password but I have many many important data in my device and even service center couldn't help me to just unlock without wipe data so dear all developers if anyone have the sol to unlock without wipe kindly tell me or contact with me
If ADB got successfully installed on phone, then when having booted phone into Recovery mode you can use adb pull command to fetch the important data you have in mind.
