Pixel 2 Launcher look with Nova Launcher - LG V20 Guides, News, & Discussion

I'm loving the look of the Pixel 2 launcher - super clean and minimalist.
Just thought I'd share this, which might help you to get a bit of the Pixel 2 launcher aesthetics.
With the latest beta of Nova (5.5-beta 3):
• Nova settings -> dock -> searchbar in dock (pick above or below)
• Select "image" as dock background and point the the attached PNG (make sure to change the crop to select the whole image, and use the "fill" option. I like 50% opacity for this
• Change the adaptive icons to wiggle in "look and feel"
• Change the menu pop-up to Oreo style in Nova settings -> look and feel -> popup menu
This way, I have a bit of the Pixel look with the additions of Nova. Profit.

4. Setting up LauncherPro.
- long press the 1st and 5th icons on the dock and set them as a shortcut, then hit Homescreens.
5. 'Theming' the icons to Stock Android.
- using the above icon set. Use them to replace the original icon. To theme icons in LauncherPro,it's not as easy as Go Launcher EX or ADW EX. LP lacks theming,that's about it
- long press on the homescreen and create a new shortcut for each application. Once selected, it will prompt you to create the shortcut,tap the original icon and replace it from the above icon set.

MiUi Themes

There may have been a post that was similar, but it's shot dead, kind of (I consider November a long time ago).
I use a mix of Timeline Blue (for app themes) and the framework is Black Ice (what most people probably use):
Naked Simplicity (bottom icons) Pulse Widgets and the Music Player after Timeline Blue themes it:

In case my wallpaper doesn't make sense, it's a very changed up Photile Pro live wallpaper that gives the screen a Tron-like effect when you touch it. Widgets: minimalistic text and a modded Pandora: Minimalistic Pandora M

Fineline Blue is the only one I could find to theme the Helper. Fineline Orange is an option too.

Nova Launcher Prime, KWLP (live wallpaper), Nucleo UI (icons), Power Toggles (toggle widget).
Things would look much better rooted. I want to get rid of the softkeys, including the space it takes; I can hide, but Nova will not use the space. Also rooted I can change density per-app. I also want to learn KWLP to make my wallpaper as I want.
My current one:

Stock icons are bigger than 3rd partry app icons

Hi
Icons of stock applications on Samsung devices with touchwiz and Android 6.0.1 are displayed bigger than icons of 3rd party apps. It is dependent on the "pixel-weight" of the icon, here an example.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If I draw a small border, the icon has almost the same size as the stock ones, but if the icon content is filled, touchwiz shrinks the icon. This normalizer is also known on the Nova Launcher, but possible to disable. Is there a way to disable the normalizer on Samsung stock devices? I have root access.
My goal is to create an icon in the shape of the stock icons. I haven even exported the icons of stock application (*.qmg to *.png), which will be shrinked too.
Found the solution in a stock Samsung Application AndroidManifest.xml
You need to add the following line into the <application> tag in the mainfest.
Code:
<meta-data android:name="com.samsung.android.icon_container.has_icon_container" android:value="true"/>
This works with *.png and *.qmg icons too.
