Is that possible to create Substratum-APK from own set of fonts? - prjkt.io

I wonder if that's possibkle to build an APK from own set of TTF fonts, that Substratum would list in font typefaces.
I know about TypeFace app that does so but only with fonts downloaded from web, now I'm looking for something similar that would work with locally stored fonts.

It's possible, but you'd need all the different variants of the font - there are 18 in each of the font zips included in the theme template.

I look on the zips.
They just contain fonts named Roboto-* but not being Roboto.
Does it mean Substratum hardreplaces the system fonts?
I've applied SegoeUIWP8 from a theme and Roboto system fonts are still Roboto.
I need some clue where Substratum places or registers the changed fonts.

Just use ThemeDIY.
It will convert your stuff from TTF to APK for substratum

Thanks, this one seems to do the job. Now, if I wished to create full-featured Substratum-APK with possibility of more named fonts inside, the only way is to use the Substratum template?

[Font Request] Roboto Condensed APK

I love this font but cannot seem to find it anywhere except in the Alliance Rom framework which is not available (as far as I know) for 5.1.1. Does anyone have an APK or know of one of the downloadable font packs that has this font contained within? Thanks in advance :silly:

Emojis in Honor 8

Ok i just want to ask if anyone could help me with this problem that i have with font files in android?. I have had Huaweis Honor 7 and now Honor 8 android phone and it uses hwt files to change the themes, inside these hwt files you can also add font files so the font changes in the whole system. I have found these ttf font files in EMUI International Google+ that someone has made and combined ios emojis to these normal fonts but it does not change all of the emojis, how is it possible or is it possible to update this ttf font file with ios 9.1 or 9.3 emojis, because this way you could change emojis in Huawei phones whitout rooting the phone.
Emoji Response

Here is the link to ttf files in gdrive, they are all in this zipfile. I have used the whole folder inside hwt theme file and it works, but not all emojis are replaced.

Changing Pixel font.

Hey guys I was looking for some advice on changing the system font on my Google Pixel. I rooted the phone yesterday and I'm happy with the default ROM and Google launcher. With previous phones I've used iFont but with the Pixel I get an "error 7" when trying to set a new font.
I'm pretty sure you can change fonts with substratum.

Thanks for the reply. I downloaded that app but don't see any options for fonts. Is it something you've used before?

I haven't messed with it but I know it's capable of changing fonts. I think it requires a compatible rom so stock rooted might not cut it. You'll have to dig around to find out more about substratum. I'm sure there's lots of info out there.

Try this thread

Also, here are a lot of fonts. You can't use the zip they are in though. You'll have to use a Pixel compatible zip.

Thanks for the reply. I've had a look through that forum. The font I want to use I don't have all the different types for (bold, italic etc. Can I just copy my font multiple times, rename it to all those file names, flash it and have the same font universally around my phone?

I downloaded the Font_Soma_Bold_Taller_v1 file from the first link. It said just to replace the fonts inside with your own and flash. It's under the Pixel sub forum so I guess it's one that would work. My question was just if I only have one type of the font can I copy the same one over Italic, bold etc and just have the same font universally all over the phone?
Also would I rename my font to roboto-black.ttf, RobotoCondensed-regular.ttf etc?

In theory, you can do that. Of course make a backup of your original fonts. I'm not sure how short you are of the correct fonts.

Custom TTF Flip Fonts

Can we make these yet? I tried a few times with signing both the font and the apk but Samsung settings keeps rejecting it.
Curious if anyone has figured out a working method yet? Possibly with an RRO theme, edit the default fonts?
Edit: I remember seeing that Samsung themes can inherit a TTF as a font, but this means we can't use another theme with it. So I am thinking RROs.
I with I knew how to do this. I have been researching for days ..

I don't know the exact meaning, but that's the only type of font Samsung allows you to install and use.
I guess it's like a regular .ttf file with some modifications - again, I don't really know.
All I know is that FlipFont make us all suffer. I wish Samsung knew how to treat customers. This is Android, not iOS - why locking us?
I'm using these on my s8, with both a Samsung theme and a Substratum theme https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72112717&postcount=24
If we are talking about regular ttf fonts, I'm using the San Francisco font which I pulled out of apples macos installer

How can I change the lockscreen clock font on Android 11?

Hi everyone,
I have tried a few different ROMs (LineageOS, EvolutionX, ProtonAOSP) on my Pixel 2, and each one makes the lockscreen clock fat, unlike stock Android 11. I am attaching screenshots of what it looked like before and what it looks like now. I've already tried my hand at SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk to no avail. Thanks in advance
Anyone?

Look in system fonts folder. I don't know which font does you lock screen that you have to edit or swap and rename from another font
you need to set default font as Google sans in fonts.xml under /system/etc/fonts.xml
