Can anybody point me toward a USB A to C adapter that is male on both ends and is not a cable, just the connectors back to back?
I want to be able to hook my Pixel XL to my car stereo's USB cable (that is female) without further cables messing up my glove box.

Thanks but like I said, I don't want a cable , just a male to male connector like the female to male connector that came with the phone.

So I managed to snap one of the micro usb port pins out of the socket from my phone. I was in a rush, phone plugged in, grabbed the phone (at an angle), and yanked the charging cable off.
I noticed the next day it wasn't charging when i plugged it in. On further inspection, I could see one of the pins was bent/broken in the charging port. I can wiggle it to get it to charge, but it's annoying as hell. I've been using my wall charger, but i really need to fix this because I use the GPS a lot in the car.
LONG STORY SHORT
Took the phone apart to see if I could replace the micro usb port. I can. I'm just not sure which type of micro-b to buy. Can anyone point me to a product/link which sells the part I need based on the photos below? I'm comfortable soldering.
Phone:
Chinese Star N920e (awesome phone btw).
Thanks for any help.

Hi.
I want to use a mouse on Galaxy S4, and charge at same time. Do you know some USB hub or something?
Also, I want more... I want to connect my Galaxy S4 to my TV (I already have the adapter), and connect mouse, and charge my phone (so with the adapter to TV it already charge)
you need an USB OTG cable. its basically a special USB Y cable

I knew the samsung dock, but 99$ it is simple too much!
charger through the port, mouse through BT.
Would this contraption work?
Would it charge the phone or just blow up the micro USB connector?

Wall adapter + USB A male to USB A male cable + OTG cable + Phone.
My concern is, that the phone will think it's a flash drive (or something like that) and start providing 5V power.
It would work, no problem
Sent from my Nexus 5
I would also say that you should have no problems with your contraption....There is only a certain amount of charge that the Nexus 5 will accept. By now, you have probably already tried it. How did it work? Which OTG are you using? I bought the Analogix Slimport SP1003 a couple months ago. It's one of the best phone accessories I have ever purchased! Watching free movies and TV shows is awesome!
Agree, I have Slimport and it has taken my Nexus5 to a whole new level for entertainment!!
Why is it so difficult to find a good car charger! A lot of them out there don't have enough AMPs to do the job and charge 2 devices at once.
I found one though that works really good, the CHOETECH Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 & USB C Ports in Dual USB Car Charger. I really recommend it as it has a Quick charge port and a mix of USB and USB C Type ports. Very practical to charge 2 devices with different ports at the same time and fast.
So if you need a good car charger that charges fast and fits perfectly in the car slot, then buy this one!

Dear community,
I'm interested in buying USB-C- to HDMI, but wondering if I best can buy the official Motorola ReadyFor USB-C to HDMI or an alternative branche.
As one of the disadvantages is, that you can't charge at the same time when the ReadyFor USB-C to HDMI adapter is plugged in.
I found for instance DINTO USB-C HUB 3x USB to and 4K HDMI adapter, but is that one compatible and with this one I can actually charge and use the USB-C to HMDI at the same time?
It might look to good to be truth? What do you think? I already asked the seller, but they just say, try it, you can always send it back, but I want to avoid that.
