If you have any tips, please share them with me.
Sorry for bothering you but i am really out of ideas

I solved using ToolHero from mobileuncle
Remember you need to root your device first.
In order to apply the ne IMEIs, the app requires you to share, you can just share to a fake contact

Hey, thanks for the links and all that but when I press volume up + power, it boots into a screen where it says "kein befehl" (which is german for "no command") and if you then press volume up + power again it will boot into the stock recovery ("Android Recovery"), but not the TWRP Recovery.
I used SP Flash Tool as administrator and it said that the download succeeded.
My phone had OEM Unlocked and USB Debugging active. (Oukitel K4000 Plus)
Could you please help me get TWRP going or maybe tell me an other way of getting root installed?
Any help is appreciated!

You should not turn on your device before booting into TWRP otherwise it will be overwritten by the stock recovery automatically

Thanks for the answer!
But I didn't turn it on before. What I did is:
Unlock OEM in settings + enable USB Debugging
Turn off the device
Start SP Flash Tool as admin, select scatter file, only check 'recovery', set to 'Download only'
Click the 'Download' button, then AFTER that, connect phone to PC
Wait for the downloading process (takes like 3-5 seconds) until it says "Download Ok"
Disconnect phone from PC
Hold Volume UP + Power
Oh and what I forgot to mention is that when I hold Volume UP + Power it boots up until the point where you see the Oukitel logo (not the animated one) and then it just resets and once again boots up until it gets to the Oukitel logo and it keeps on doing that until I let go of Volume UP + Power for a moment and then start holding it again when the Oukitel logo pops up again. THEN it resets into the "kein befehl"-(which is german for "no command") screen (which I mentioned before).
best regards,

You should let go ONLY the power button as soon as the screen turns on.

Solved
EDIT: Thank you, I used an other version of TWRP (this one) and it works perfectly fine now. Have a nice day

If I let go of the power button (but not the Volume UP button) as soon as the screen turns on (the Oukitel logo is displayed) it will still do what I described (it keeps on resetting on the Oukitel logo).
Edit:
1. I have read something about that you need to unlock your bootloader (additionally to Unlocking OEM and enabling USB Debugging) first. Could it be that this applies to me as well? And if yes, what do I need to do?
2. The first time starting the phone it asked me to do a system update. And I let it do the update. Could the problem be that you need the version of the system that was on the phone when it was delivered? And if yes then I only need to do a factory reset before rooting right?
3. If I dont flash TWRP then I get into the recovery without problems, but when I flash TWRP onto it then it does like described above (keeps on resetting).

ShrugF

White Screen fixable?
Quite disappointed. Used Oukitel models before and have never had a problem adding a custom rom or changing back to a stock version until now.
Ended up with a white screen.
Followed the instructions from this website
https://romprovider.com/2017/08/download-firmware-oukitel-k4000-plus/
Did exactly what it asked which seemed logical.
The stock rom came from here
https://www.needrom.com/download/oukitel-k4000-plus/
However I now have a white screen. How do I go about fixing this? I defnitely have a Oukitel K4000 Plus (sticker in the battery)

Don't worry, I had the same problem. There are two versions of k4000 plus. The newest requires at least firmware version 1.5 and you probably installed 1.3 stock.
Download 1.7 firmware from 4pda. I cannot post the link so search on google...

[Q] Restore stock recovery

Hi Guys,
Sorry but I rooted my Wife's phone, installed CWM and flashed recovery, then tried a few roms and she wants it back to stock - go figure..
Anyway I can restore stock rom from recovery, however then when the phone advises there is an update available, it reboots into CWM Recovery then gets in a boot loop and says it can not mount e drive.
So I load up the custom rom, reboot into recovery, restore the stock rom, then back to square one above that it won't update itself if that makes sense..
So my question is how do I restore stock recovery and do you think that will solve the issue?
Thanks
Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1287236
or
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17177547&postcount=2
wow you live in gold coast like my relatives(surfers paradise, broad beach)
to have a stock recovery you must flash a kdz stock rom or use the LG tool via pc,and try with the emergency menu of the tool
Wow, small world yes that's the one!
I was going to try the KDZ method but I don't have the IMEI number and that method mentions having to type in the IMEI number?
I am trying this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1244490 instead will that do it too?
Thanks
With kdz method you don't need the IMEI
Thanks mate I will try that... so leave SIM in and just go for it with KDZ?
Yes.........
Sorry to sound like such a noob but I can't boot the phone to turn on USB debugging mode, and it's not installing the drivers, just keeps saying USB device not recognised...
All I can get to is CWM recovery menu?
Help~!
Plug in the phone with download mode "Vol up + power"
Thanks I was trying that but it wasn't working?
One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and is not working...
That's all I get?
You se this image after reboot??http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/4918/img0865xl.jpg
If yes try with this cable and bin firmwarew(method).
http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/9052/800pxusbmicrob.png
No I do not get that screen, either nothing happens or it boots like normal to CWM Recovery, damn I've really messed this up!

recovery
use lg recovery get imie with phone *#06#
Thanks I now have the IMEI and S/N however when I click to check the IMEI in the recovery tool it says wrong information and try again and closes?
I have double triple checked and I am entering it correctly?
Now onto this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1181071 thread and onto a second, clean, 32bit computer and still the same problems....
So I hold down the volume up and power buttons, the computer recongnises it and starts to install the drivers then says driver installation failed and LG Mobile Support Tool does not connect the phone?
And now a blue screen on the new clean computer, wow this is quality software from LG, no surprise really!
HOLD THE FORT!
After the blue screen reboot on the new computer, I tried again and it connected!
At first the IMEI check failed but then I thought to enter the IMEI with no dashes, and it worked!
Clean install is downloading now via the Recovery tool, phew.. I hope nothing else goes wrong!

[Q] Possible Bricked P920 (Stuck on Boot) [SOLVED]

Hey there,
In a bit of a dilemma here with my phone.
I was running the XBSA V21E Gingerbread with ICS Theme ROM with the TitanKernel V0.4.2 V21D 09-04-2012.
I decided to install I a new rom without a flash, The Promethius Project V1.4 followed with he latest Promethius Kernel. All went successfully with no errors, according the the boot anyway.
ok...after trying to reboot many times, I have not been able to get any further than the 'LG Boot Logo' I left it on last night as I couldn't be bothered trying to fix it at the time and it stayed on the logo for over 7 hours. (Figured it would nonetheless)
These are the steps that I have tried, of which wont work for me:
1 - Turn off your phone
2 - Press power and volume down until the LG logo apears.
3 - Release the power button but keep the volume down pressed.
This takes you to the recovery screen.
1) Start LG Mobile update
2) Power off your phone without USB cable
3) Connect the USB cable and wait for the LG logo and the annimation battery
4) Pressing Vol.up + power 6-7 seconde wait for the LG logo and The screen turns off
5) Again pressing Vol.up + power 6-7 seconde and wait until the drivers are installed (LG Mobile update detects your phone and the screen is always off)
6) Click on User/Support then emergency mode, insert your IMEI and click on check - I get a popup saying "Please Check Phone Information Again"
Iv'e done everything with and without the battery in place, I have removed sim and SD card.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards.
EDIT: Solved!!....huh? How?.... Well my lesson learned is, flash before installing a rom....[GUIDE] Recovering from brick/bootloop
Worked for me anyway
if the case is stuck on LG logo, go to CWM menus, wipe all and reinstall the ROM, install it twice, reboot. (always work for me if I got stuck on LG logo).
sorry for my bad english.
I mentioned that I can't get to the menu in my post.
ow sorry, I didn't notice that you can't go back to CWM menus also.
you are using LG Mobile Support Tool right for recovering?
If not, download LG Mobile Support Tool and run.
- Change Country in Option&Help, select country.
- Download the usb driver, if you are not installed yet.
- Take off your battery
- Connect the phone while holding vol.up and wait until LG support tool detect your phone
- If it connected, go to Customer Support and select Recovery Phone
- insert your IMEI, ok
- wait until it finish downloading and recovery your phone.
If not succeed on downloading, try install PC suite first and redo the steps.
Hope it's work.
I don't mean to be rude, but did you read my post at all? I mentioned that I can't do that either.
1) Start LG Mobile update
2) Power off your phone without USB cable
3) Connect the USB cable and wait for the LG logo and the annimation battery

5) Again pressing Vol.up + power 6-7 seconde and wait until the drivers are installed (LG Mobile update detects your phone and the screen is always off)

[Q] Unable to flash Lenovo A660 -> looped during factory reset -> unable to boot
Hello all!
I am having a really strange error with my phone. I can't flash it. Even when it says it's "Downloaded OK" -> green circle in Smart Phone Flash Tool, seems like nothing really happened.
The problem is, machine Lenovo A660 keeps restarting and "updating". Lenovo logo -> Android image with some weird blue shape -> restart. (5-10secs each repetition).
My Factory mode looks like this -> http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/594/img5854y.jpg/ (power on + volumne down)
This phone came with Etotalk MOD ROM.
Main problem occured, when I've couldn't access my applications -> Application not found error and lost all application icons. Then Google Play said, my account has never been used with this device. So I joined again, "re"installed applications. Some worked, but most of them kept shutting down with errors. So I decided for factory reset via software menu recovery and backup menu (??). Device started to "recovering" and it was doing for 20-30minutes - so I have restarted it.. bearing on mind, that factory reset did not work, as people stated it lasts around 7mins..
Then I have tried to flash it using various boot.img and recovery.img from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1874403 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2104748
but they won't work. Seems like something starts earlier then true recovery tool.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

I have found and use stock-modded ROM for this phone, but it really seems like Smart Phone Flash Tool is not flashing this device.
The thing is, I never see that purple bar to come.
I am using only recovery and boot image. After hitting Download I connect phone, which got battery out for few secs, and leave it as is. Red bar fills up, yellow bar fills up and that all, green circle appears.
When I start device, no change has happened. :-/
Somebody help me, please..
Btw, what is that THL and which is on my phone? Do I actually need it?
I am really stuck.

You are correct, the standard recovery will not flash the ROM. You *must* first flash a custom recovery using the windows flash utility, and after that you can flash the ROM you linked to.
Read the first two posts in this thread, and the pages it links to, especially the two 'flash' links and the A660 recovery link.

Thank you for your help! After some hard battling with some button combinations I managed to get into some "etotalk" rom recovery, which fixed partitioning (using mke2fs tool) and getting clean "old" 4.0.4 android.
Thank you again! Phone is alive!
PS: I am not sure of the combination, but I pressed & hold both volume controls and simultaneously (or few ms later) pressed power on button.

This might no longer be up to date AND I am no expert but when I was "playing" with my A660, I noticed that some (generic) descriptions for flashing, etc. refer to up- and down volume buttons, which (because they are on the right side of the device?) are in some cases mirrored to some of the instructions. In other words, up is down and down is up (if that makes sense).
If I power off the device, I usually first press volume up (and keep it pressed), while then also pressing and holding the power button.
Once the screen comes to live, you may let go of the buttons.
This combination brings me into the CWM Recovery based Recovery Mode. My phone also had the ETOTALK ROM installed ...
Navigation is with volume up / down and item selction is with the power button!
Same procedure with volume down gets you into the "factory Mode" menu, where you can do all sorts of test. However, this mode is also required for some (!) flashing procedures (ofter referred to for adb access).
Scrolling through the entries with volume down. Accepting an entry with Volume Up!
Hope this helps,
Robert

I have the same end result (after a factory reset (unintended) and unsuccesful attemts to put etotalk recovery rom back) i did a "format" from the flash tool): the phone appears dead, it will not power up. the flash tool does recognise the phone, and will download, memory test (it does say: "NAND Flash was not detected" however), etc.

My SAMSUNG Galaxy A8 2018 isn`t work

After rooting my smartphone, I turned it off and on again, and it booted up infinitely. I was embarrassed and touched this and that, then went to wipe->advanced wipe menu and accidentally changed the system file. After that, my smartphone doesn't work at all. I'm posting this because I wanted to know how to turn on this smartphone, so I hope someone who knows about this part will reply.
(OEM seems to have turned off as the OS disappeared when I judged it.)
So can you boot into anything? Try all button combinations possible.
Or it is just black screen without a single text no matter how ?

Since I used TWRP in this state, I have been routed using the powerward button and the power button to move the powerward button and the power button for a long time to move the BACKUP entry, and the system image is displayed, but the system is displayed as 0 MB. And if you try to reboot, the NO OS Installed error will be opened and you want to install the TWRP app, and Failed to Mount / System (No Such Devices) Error appears. Now this is the symptoms of my smartphone.

Do not unplug your phone. Press and hold the Power key and the Volume down key simultaneously for more than 7 seconds. As soon as the screen goes black hold down Volume Down + Volume Up for a few moments.

First, I asked you to go to download mode. How do I have since that? (OEM seems to be forcibly turned off when the OS itself is gone. I turned on the routing before.)
You are in twrp now, but shows system as 0mb?
Can you press mount> system or wipe> factory reset?

No. With OEM locked, even if your phone is locked as tight as bill gates's wallet, you can still boot into download mode. However You can only flash stock ROM in that case. This is the definition of OEM lock: you can flash, but cannot flash anything except stock rom.
You must not be meaning OEM lock.

I've just tried it, and they all give me a "failed to mount '/system' (no such device)" error.

Although I am looking for information on the Internet, it seems that a program called Odin is necessary for Samsung phones. The internet says that you can upload the genuine firmware, but is there any other way to upload this genuine firmware other than using Odin? And what should I do if my smartphone is not recognized?
What happens of you press reboot> bootloader in twrp?

When I enter reboot from twrp, four items are displayed on my smartphone: system, power off, recovery, and download. If you go to system, the Galaxy A8 logo is displayed and it stops, and if you go to download, it goes into download mode.
The bootloader entry is not visible.

When I went to this site, there was nothing of the Galaxy A8 2018 I wanted. So what should I do? Is it possible even if the OEM is locked?

When I went to the path where I had touched the system setting incorrectly and changed the system setting to ext2, what was displayed as 0MB was displayed as 7MB. After I just selected ext2 it was still showing 0MB, but now it shows 7MB.
But the no os installed error is still displayed.
However, the Failed to Mount / System (No Such Devices) error no longer appeared.

1. Then request phone's Stock ROM directly from Samsung.
2. As you were already told flashing a phone's Stock ROM doesn't require phone's bootloader is unlocked.
You reported you have flashed TWRP successfully: this means your phone's bootloader got successfully unlocked.
Take note that TWRP is used to flash Custom ROMs.
Stock rom: www.samfw.com
For odin and usb drivers just search
Flash in download mode

Odin doesn't seem to recognize my phone. Since the USB driver is a Samsung phone, I downloaded and installed the Samsung integrated USB driver. Yet it is not recognized. Download mode is now in the state.

I'm still a beginner, so I don't know how to flash custom roms or anything like that. Is there a way to flash a custom rom or original firmware using TWRP? Now, it enters the download mode and waits for it to be recognized by Odin, but it is still not recognized by Odin.
Does it usually take a long time for the smartphone to be recognized by Odin?
Do you have other phone? Is the cable good and transfering files?

Question [SOLVED] Flashed a file from TWRP Official App choosing my device from the list and got stuck on the "Downloading do not turn off target" screen

Device:
- Samsung Galaxy A12
- Rooted
- Magisk and Magisk Manager both updated
- Model sm-a127m
- Problem context: I could not find a recovery for my particular model and during the rooting process I somehow ended up not being able to access the recovery, after a long time I tried to install one from the TWRP Official App and this ended up happening.

Going back to stock by flashing latest via Odin is what I would do and then start from scratch.
You took TWRP for a125f didn't you?
They have very different hardware, but I think it will work to return to stock.

Instead I re-flashed twrp, this time a version supposedly for a127m unofficially and the phone ended up blinking on and off a totally black screen. Now it doesn't enter download mode or recovery mode and the computer doesn't recognize it. I'm pretty ****ed up.

Was it fully loaded before you started?
Is it possible that the battery is empty?
I'd leave for hours connected to the charger and test tomorrow again to get into download mode.

The battery is fine, it was loading almost the whole process because I flashed the last time from the PC and was at 70% before starting. The only thing it does since yesterday (it was not turned off at any time) is to flash between the screen turned on showing pure black color and the screen off.
If I press Volume Down Key and power key what it does is not to enter the Download Mode as before but show the Samsung A12 logo and then the warning of "unlocked bootloader" with the "Press Power Key to continue", then the same screen From Samsung A12 but with a warning of Custom Software and then begins to blink again.
I cannot turn it off or enter the recovery mode or enter the download mode. The battery is inaccessible to me although I could find a way to do it if it served something.
@Bafif one last idea:
did you enable USB debugging in dev options before?
Then adb commands might be working.
1 To test if adb can see it (device connected to PC) :
command <adb devices>
Perhaps necessary to enter twice.
If yes you'll see a notification on the screen.
2 Then you can <adb reboot bootloader> to enter download mode.
If you don't get the notification I'm probably not able to give any further hints.

Sorry to read that.
Tried very long pressing power button (2 minutes or so) or other button combo like Vol up + down together plus power?
I don't own that device so can't test for you.

I GOT IT . What I did was wait for the battery to run out totally and then keep the two volume buttons pressed and connected the cable with the phone off, that opened the download mode. I just had to wait two days for completely draining. Thanks for paying attention to me
