Guys the latest version update of Indian phones (honor 7x) includes gyroscope..
Yes!! Download the update and enjoy the VR..
U can check the suppprt after update by sensor box app in play store..
Around 3.5 hours with high speed charger. My other phone only takes 1 hour 30 minutes having the same battery output.
The charging speed has improved after 2 months since I got this device. I'm using the included charger. Not Moto G4 speed but good enough for my needs.
does Kirin 659 supports fast charging?
i read online that Maimang 6, nova 2 ( whicha have kirin 659) support fast charge. Is there any possibility in honor 7x , fast charge can be enabled via a firmware update?

Gyroscope enabled in last update. Working Perfectly.
Charges from 0-90% in 1hr40m when switched off. Quite slow when on, though.

with the stock charger, about 2.5 hours. i went and bought a 3.1 amp charger yesterday, and it charged my phone from 5% to 100% in 1 hour 30 minutes!
it would all depend on the charger you are using(no, they all arent equal), and whether you are charging via wall or usb.

Ok Now this game is getting dirty and don't bring nationality in between....as per you have done b.tech whats the big deal in it.
On topic nexus 5 uses battery charging IC( TI BQ24192) which does not support more than 1.5A current so even if you use a 10A charger max it will take is 1.5A.
Thread temporarily closed... stay tuned...
EDIT: Thread re-opened and cleaned.

he changed his battery as well, to one thats 3 times as big. so his post is meaningless to the op, considering that what he was talking about is not standard for a charger nor battery for the nexus 5. he was just trying to make himself appear better than he actually is.

Has anyone checked their charging rate with a battery monitoring app ? I have been experimenting with different chargers and I can't seem to get the charge rate >1A. The max I have been able to get with the phone in idle with the screen off is 1010ma.
This is nowhere close to the 1.5A max.
I'm running Carbon ROM + LaboDJ's version of Franco r49. I've tested using the Nexus 4/Nexus 5/Nexus 10/Blackberry Playbook chargers.
To charge from 0 - 100 takes me over ~2.5hours.
My nexus 7 charger takes just over an hour from 10 to 100.
How much time does it take to fully charge R7 plus from 0

About 40 minutes in my experience. even less when turned off.

Really, Do you have R7 plus ??
Proud owner yes ! :d
Oppo uses a VooC 4 amp fast charger. It is currently the fastest in the industry. The phone does not heat up while charging but the charger does get warm. It comes with a special proprietary charging cable. If you use normal cable and charger, then it will slow charge.

sometimes its 1000 mA.. and voltage is more than 4 V.. 4.1 or 4.2 mostly. is it fine ?
I can't tell if it's the app that don't measure well or the socket doesn't give enough power
I will send the screenshot here..

Except the voltage at 4.3V, that is over the limit to preserve at maximum capacity the storable charge of the ions by a 0,1, a notch practically (best is to remain at 4.2V or lower) everything is fine. This is an issue that i encounter too sometimes, it doesn't happen often but it happens, and so i opened a dedicated thread - you can find it here; we still have to find a solution since that it's kernel related, but if you wanna stay updated about, this is where me or others will notify about a working solution. Cheers https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6x/help/limiting-voltage-battery-charging-t3663510
Ahan okk guys.. i will surely check that thread..
And i have another question.. my previous phone showed 1800 mA measurement current at 3.8 to 3.9 V.
So 1800 mA is good or not for a phone ?

I don't remember the quantity of mAh that i achieve during a charging cycle, but i can say that the amount of mAh is a thing that you shouldn't worry about much as Voltage: the chargers of nowadays are smarter than older chargers, they regulates the quantity of electricity that they have to send into the phone's battery by theirself, and so they'd hardly reach an harming point.

Voltage rating is fine but cureent should be more than 1000 mA.
When i used the sony fast charger on 5X it was showing 900-1200 mA even though it was 2A charger.
Sometimes these 3rd party app may not be as reliable as you think. What is the total charging time it takes, for me it is around 100+ minutes.
Phone takes the current and rating as per its own design and not the charger all the time. Charger may supply more ratings but phone may not accept ao they negotiate to lower down ro prevent the battery damage
okk guys.. the current does not goes more than 1000 in my 6x.. but i will check thi charging times from 10% to 100% tomorrow..

If thats the case then it could be the reason we see less current rating vs the charger.
Good point.

It's alright, fast enought for me but thet Mate 10 Pro that I've tested charges much faster.
its slow than what i expected not much difference with s8 charging speed

Slower than Note 5

It's pretty quick, but I honestly feel like my Note 5 was faster. BUT(!), that's because there is an extra 500mAh on this baby so obviously it takes a little longer, but the actual amount of power "flowing" in is probably better.
faster than my old pixel XL
note 8 was 1:40 and had 3200 battery so 1:45 seems ok
but the phone is charging slower when in use like hte note 8 it must be so precaution.. since note 7
Okay then is my charging good thnx all

Not quick enough in 2018 when several other phones charge faster. QC2.0 is not enough.

I charge all of my phones at 20% (when possible) to 90% and stop there. The accuBatterypro app recommends you charge to 80% to keep the wear at a minimum from charge cycle to charge cycle.
