In 2013 I took advantage of a best buy/sprint promotion where I bought a new phone with cash and received a free year of unlimited calling and text service from sprint.
I added on the $10 unlimited data option but otherwise the only other cost was insurance and taxes so my bill was just over $20.
I am a week from this awesome deal ending so I called sprint to see what my options are.
They told me if I buy a new phone through the easy-pay system where I pay on a new phone for 24 months I can stay in the current promo.
I have to say that having free unlimited calling and text (a $50 value) per month is very attractive if true.
Just seems like it is too good to be true to me. I would have to purchase my phone through Best Buy but they told me I had to use the easy-pay 24 month system and not pay for the phone in full to do this.
If this is true I can see either a galaxy note 4 ($30 a month) or a galaxy note edge ($35 a month) in my very near future and I would be selling (Or trading in) my current note 3.
Anyone know for sure? Think I am stopping at best buy tomorrow to see...

Verizon full retail $900 for the 128gb s6 edge
Verizon two-year contract $500 (after $50 mail-in rebate)
is the $400 difference worth the contract?
id be doing the payment plan if i do the $900 ($37.49 a month)
and ive upgraded from the s5 to the note 4 and now to the s6, so chances are ill prbly want the S7 next year.
You should do the math.
When I did mine, the difference was about $500 comparing AT&T and Cricket.
This was including AT&T discount for bringing my own device / out of contract. Verizon also has similar discount if you are not in contract.
By not alot of US has the S6, do you think its wort the money for what the phone is???
if yes why?
if no why not?
I'm in the UK and think I got a decent deal for a 32gb black S6.
£31 per month over 2 years (£744), plus £59.99 upfront. All-in then it's going to cost £803.99.
If just buying a 'SIM only' for the same calls/SMS/data it's £20 per month or £480 over the two years.
So £803.99 minus £480 leaves a device cost of £323.99 - I couldn't get close to that off contract and it destroys anything else at that price.
For anyone wondering, this was via mobiles.co.uk (o2 network - bonus immediate unlocking for free).

That's a good deal. mines 34.50 a month and 49 quid up front. In the UK
I think for the first time in the Galaxy S history it is worth the asking price. I had the S3 and S4, but skipped the S5 because I didnt think it worth the premium price.
Wondering if anyone knows the asurion deductible for s8 plus Verizon?
Was just adding it to my phone last night with Verizon chat support and apparently they aren't allowed to tell you
Through Verizon it's $200. I got the Samsung protection plus. $12/mo and a $99 deductible, but it doesn't cover lost or stolen devices.
Galaxy S8+ Black
So I just got two of my Galaxy S8+ today since I was able to buy it on time for the BOGO promotion where it offers a rebate up to $750 once you activate your T-Mobile line on one out of the two phones you buy. I'm just wondering since I bought to Galaxy S8+ and not a Galaxy s8 and a S8+ together, will the rebate still work. I know it's only up to $750 which will only leave $100 to fully pay off one of the S8+ while the other I gotta finance it monthly. Does anyone know if the rebate will still work? I have proof of my date of purchase for the promotion and I got it just in time. Thanks
