I'm on RROS and I'm rooted, using Greenify's aggressive doze and so far it seems to be working pretty well. I was curious to see what you guys are doing to save battery throughout the day and if you want to share any tips you've found helpful in managing your battery life. Thanks!

I am a very light to moderate user. I have installed cm10 jelly bean and my battery seems to drain very fast. I have looked at the wake lock thread and other methods and nothing seems to help. Is there any other way to slow the drain on my battery?
Stats man screenshot your graph your screen on time we need tons more info

Yeah, a lot more info is needed. Go to Settings > Battery and post a screenshot of the chart.
CM10 for the SkyRocket is getting mixed battery reviews. Some are saying they are experiencing the best battery their phone has ever experienced, while others are saying it's draining more than ever. Remember, having your social networking refresh does drain some battery. As does widgets on the home screen, watching video playback and having your screens brightness turned up.
CM10 is still in the alpha stage. As such, lots of its features remain a work in progress. Definitely bring on the BBS dump and the usage screenshots, though, because there's pretty often something checked in settings that's making life difficult.
You can try testing instigator's kernel and use badass governor.

Your welcome
Hi
I've allready configured everything I can with Stock rom and I've installed Linaro / Franco kernel. It seem good. Now, I just want to talk about your own experience to improve battery life with Nexus.
I want to switch to ART, but Google's message is clear : "Warning!"
Does it change something? Have you tested long enough to verify that it works well?
I still have important battery drain and I will study everything I can to improve experience with this fantastic device !

ART worked flawlessly (no issues) for me and noticeably increased battery life but incompatibility with xposed is a deal breaker.

Hello, I have been using ART since a week now and I have never had any major issues.
Some issues I had were:
Apps gets closed when you open them (just retry)
GUI bugs with Any.Do

Go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
And read the op and then try installing gravity box through the download button in xposed box, you will love it for sure

battery life is determined by your personal usage, your person setup, your personal method of app management, and most importantly battery life is determined by the quality of your personal data/phone signal. everything else, including undervolting, only provides negligible results. thats why no matter what rom you are running, no matter what kernel you are running, no matter if you are using dalvik or ART, there are people that will say that it gives them great battery life while others say it doesnt give them great battery life.
I can't get this awful battery life under control. Hasn't really been out doing much

App usage 78% - try to use BetterBattery stats to check which apps, but As far as I can see, one of them is Play Services.
Ok thanks. Root is required for better battery stats?

Yes
How is it to disable spesific service in google play service, in G3 forum they mention some tools but i am not sure it will work on one plus
More information would be good. The more info the better, currently with the info you've provided it's pretty difficult to help. What ROM are you on? Stock or custom kernel? Are you currently using any battery saving techniques or apps? As suggested above, use BetterBatteryStats for a day and post the results here so we can analyse.
Oreo or Pie.
Is there any battery, camera, performance, UI, issues on pie??
No such issues... Go for it... Even i had this hesitation but then things went well...

No bug as it is which affects your daily usage... And battery draining you experience after upgrading but once adaptive battery understands your usage it will improve over time... Need Atleast a week to settle down the things. Its your choice, if you want go ahead and sure you like it...

My OP6 on 9.0.2 does have temperamental battery life (sometimes it is ok and sometimes it drains quickly)
I heard 9.0.3 fixes this but I have yet to receive the OTA
I am on oos 9.0.3. works like a charm. No issues at all for me. Btw i did not face any issues with 9.0.2 either.

Everything looks ok and smooth,go for it!!!
I like Pie more than the Oreo rom. I'd upgrade if I were you. The only reason you shouldn't is if you use an app that works on Oreo but not on Pie.
Dear everyone,
I' ve trapped by the battery issue of my phone. I absolutely love this phone but the battery life is so weak to me. Since my last phone is Mate20p which can be used for 2 days, I feel OP7pro is an only one-day phone and even need to charge twice in a day. However, I find there are so many alternative choices for me like in terms of the kernels, ROMs, etc. I am a new here, just wanna know which project is the best for extending the battery life? Thank you guys so much. Oh, by the way, I expect these projects have not many obvious issues for daily usage.
Kind regard,

My GM1917's battery life benefitted greatly from just NoLimits Magisk mod debloat. No issues at all. Stock OOS 9.5.11 and stock kernel. Also have forced 90hz and fixed resolution to QHD+.
NoLimits + Renovate Ice + Arter79 kernel has done me wonders. ~ 10%/hr drain on screen .3-.5%/hr drain standby.
Just debloating might improve it...

Install a good kernel (smurf kernel, kirisukura) and set it up for battery saving
