I'm thinking maybe one is the stock Samsung updater and the other is AT&T just not sure why both are showing all of the sudden. Only had the one since the 15th and now today there are 2
EDIT: That's what it is. If i look in my package disabler there are 3 different update packages com.wssyncmldm, com.ws.dm, com.sec.android.soagent
wssyncmldm always used to show up as disabled i must have accidentally re-enabled it

That's very odd I'm on AT&T Note 8 in my settings there's only one Software Update!

One of them is apparently disabled from the factory... I must have accidentally re-enabled it and that's why it was showing up. Weird though that wouldn't just use the same updater for all the variants

If you disable just this one com.ws.dm,
You won't get Software Update, till you enable, you only need that one disable if don't want Software Update OTA!

Here is the new Google Play Store 4.4.21. Obviously not mine it is stock and installs like any other app. I like the new layout with the side drawer, enjoy!

I am trying to install a few apps from the samsung store. When I click on the app it says "View app in Gear Manager".
When I first tried to install them they didn't successfully install. The app is not on my gear2 therefore I cannot uninstall it. It does not appear in gear manager.
Is there a way around this? Sideloading the app is something I want to avoid if at all possible.
I have tried the following things so far...

The one I have installed from the Samsung store has a screenshot of it being connected to a gear 2 so I assume it is compatible. 2.1.14

A new update came out today. Try updating to that. If not try when it updates again om the 1st of next month

Have you tried disabling screen security
Following this thread... I updated my Gear Manager and lost some watches from the gear app store. Tried to reinstall them, but app store says installed, while the apps are not visible in the app list or on the watch itself.

Ended up returning the Gear 2 and preordered a gear live instead.
At this point there really isn't any reason to own a Tizen gear.

Galaxy S5, rooted - Android Pay blocked. What is the latest state of play on workarounds for this?

mine is NOT rooted app starts its when adding the card its states it does not recognize if the device is supported
Mine allows me to confirm my card details then says that the authorisation has failed as "Google does not accept cards from all us territories" ?? (Non-rooted)

However, this information seems to be about 4 months old.; also, the article mentions a workaround. My question was really aimed at finding out whether there might be any more recent developments of use to UK users, as Android Pay only just launched here.

If you have package disabler pro installed (version 6.3 or below), do not update. Back up your current disabler settings, uninstall the disabler, install N920PVPS3BQA1, then reinstall disabler version 6.3. do not update it from the play store as it will prevent you from disabling certain packages. The newest version is 7.1.
if you currently have version 6.3 installed and update to N920PVPS3BQA1, the disabler will not be allowed to activate until updated from the play store to version 7.1, which doesnt allow disabling sytsem updates and a few other items.

I don't know if this is true, but few days ago I read about an update in android 6.0.1 with grace update for note 5, and yesterday I receive poll from samsung asking me about note 5 and the possibility to sell this device.
I'm running this with twisted note kernel. Is there a Hotspot fix someone could point me towards?

Hmm. Not entirely true. I think it's a matter of signature. I was able to install 5.0.40.15 of the Messaging app without problems. Even with the Email app from Pie, it did so as well though somehow its API was reduced from 27 to 26 and lower. Well, we just have to wait for the dev for his next update of the app and maybe it'll install successfully by then.
