Just got my Huawei Mate 9 (stock rooted with Masgisk) and I am trying to migrate my apps from my Moto Z (stock unrooted) and having issues. I was hoping that the normal Android backup process would pull down my apps from play store but it didnt. Seems like Huawei is trying to push HiSuite and Phone Clone. I got the option on the screen to restore my apps but they never actually restore. I also tried the Phone Clone app. So I got the phones connected, and the Moto Z says the transfer is complete but the Mate 9 fails on every single item.

So last week I rooted my Z3 Dual (D6633) and proceeded to install the apps I enjoy, like 3C Toolbox Pro.
Well, when I tried the function "crystallize" of the 3CT I noticed all my apps started behaving strangely (I crystallized only Facebook). I clicked to launch and it initiated launch but somehow got aborted. I had to try dozens of times to successfully launch any app. I thought it was a 3CT bug and uninstalled it. All my apps returned to normal.
Today I installed an emulator and after playing a bit I decided to use a memory editing tool. To my surprise none of the memory tools I tried launched, and only they had any problem, all other apps working normally. Notice that they work fine on my tablet, so does the 3C Toolbox.
So is this some protection app from sony or what?
Hi,
Got a new UMi Plus E (upgrading from Google Nexus 6), when booting the new phone Android Marshmallow ask for Google credential, when logged in it does not restore apps/wifi passwords. Apps is not a problem, because I can install them manually, but I have a lot of wifi passwords stored on my old device that would be nice to have.
Some time ago I got a Huawei Honor which I rooted and used different roms, was never able to restore wifi on this phone either. Maybe its a account problem?
So my two questions:
Is it possible to view the saved wifi passwords in without encryption online (in clear text), if not, can I check if they are backed up? Without root..
How can I fix this issue so my wifi passwords get backed up/restored in the future?
Has anyone been able to restore SMS messages from another phone on the Xperia 5?
I tried using Xperia Transfer with both WiFi and cloud transfer but while it appears to transfer correctly and goes through the restore process the messages do not appear in the Messages app. Xperia Transfer got an update a week ago after which I tried again, but it still didn't work after that. I also tried clearing all the messages on the Xperia 5 first, but that didn't help either.
In case it was just an Xperia Transfer problem, I tried the SMS Backup & Restore app which similarly says it has managed to restore all the messages but then they also fail to appear. This is transferring from an Xperia X, though I don't think that should matter. Is there maybe some permission missing that is needed to get this to work?
As a follow-up, after the 55.0.A.11.25 update I tried with Xperia Transfer again and still nothing, but then after the next SMS message arrived they all then appeared. Cacheing problem maybe.
So after a factory reset, I have upgraded to Android 10 and I have 2 main problems:
1) I have the Honor 5 smartband and I need the Huawei Health app to control it. There were never problems before Android 10. Now the app doesn't even open and requests for the Huawei Mobile Services app to run in the background. I have checked the Services app and is not Battery limited and also I have given it Permissions for storage, location and locked it for not closing while in background. Still I can't find any other settings for such autostart options
2) The Super backup app was always working fine with SMS backup and restore in the past. Now when I select the restore mode nothing happens. But the backup is there to check it, as there is a view option.
Any ideas?

I'm not saying this with 100% certainty but, I think when I did the update to Android 10 my huawei magic watch was working normally (notifications at least).
After the update I decided to do a factory reset, and after installing the huawei health and the Huawei Mobile Services app it kept giving me the same error has you mention, so I decided to rollback to 9.0.9.
So maybe try to do a rollback install the app, check if it works ok, and then do an update to Android 10 without factory reset and see if everything stays working 100%.
I just don't have the time and patience to do that =P.
Wierd, I also did a clean installation of A10, rooted with magisk. Huawei health and mobile services have been working flawlessly with my watch gt.

So no special permissions for any of them?
Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
So... I went again to Android 9 and installed the app and paired my smartwatch. Until here all fine.
Then I did the update again to Android 10 and for a moment the app and the smartwatch was working fine, but it started doing the same problem stated by RASTAVIPER, sometimes it opens and connects to the smartwatch sometimes it gives the error. So definitely a problem with the app or Android 10 permissions!
For does who need Huawei health don't update to Android 10 until some fixe is found.

So it's confirmed for the incompatibility...
@joaoresende When you jumped from Android 10 to Android 9, did you have a factory reset? Or you just flashed the Rom of Android 9 directly through TWRP?

So... After some long hours of use, everything works fine, some times the warning pops up from the Huawei health app saying that I need to give permissions bla bla bla... But if I close and reopen the app everything works fine. Until right know i got no connection drops.
So, I did a downgrade for Android 9 from local upgrade menu of system update, and automatically it does a factory reset (because its a downgrade), then I a installed only the basic apps and the Huawei stuff and checked if everything worked fine. After that, I did the update to Android 10 without a factory reset, and the Huawei health kept working "at least 90%" xD
I really don't know what's going on, when I did a clean install of Android 10 I gave every permission possible to both the apps and still no success, for know I think this has to work. =(
Huawei health issue
I bought the Huawei smartwatch gt 2 today. I went home, open the box and i was ready to set up my watch. The watch ask me to install Huawei health in order to make the pairing. SO i install this app. Guess what? Hueawei app ask me to install Huawei services as a requirement to work. I install this too. And guess what again? Huawei services app does not work so this means that Huawei Health doesnt work either WHICH means that i cannot make my brand new smartwatch functional cause it CANNOT work without these sitty apps! I am very frustrating with this situation and i called Huawei headquarters to give me some kind of solution. They said that the had no idea about this issue, they apologize and they will forward the issue to the technical department. Which means that they probably need time to prepare the proper update in order to make the app functional to all devices and to latest android versions including android 10 of course. So the fact that until they fix this annoying issue i will have to not being able to do anything with my brand new watch drives me really crazy.
I am using OnePlus 7 pro. I try everything. Install and uninstall both apps several times, giving any kind of permissions but no results at all!
Anyway, if there is anybody else with the same issue and have any ideas to solve this i will really appreciated it.
Thanks
I have exactry the same issue Oneplus 7T pro here...
Edit: Found a solution install not the latest version of HMS
https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/connection-to-huawei-mobile-services.1149607/
It works from apkmirror with this one perfect -
Huawei Mobile Services 3.0.2.301

I confirm that this has solved my problem too!
Thank u champ! :good:
Now, lets find a solution about restoring my SMS backup with the Super Backup app!
Also, is anyone using the Poweramp app? I discovered that it can't scan any folder, so songs can be found at the library.
Does anyone else own a Samsung watch?
Both myself and my wife have Samsung watches (she Galaxy watch active and me Galaxy watch 1) and both have P40 Pro with GMS, and GSF is frozen (no play store so we use aurora and everything works perfectly).
Since EMUI12 update everything is working fine but these watches keep losing bluetooth connection to the phone, therefore will not show notifications and the health data is sometimes not syncing.
We have tried resetting both watches, uninstalling all Samsung apps and reinstalling and then re-pairing watches and still the same problem occurs.
I tried to downgrade to older version of Samsung wearable apk but it was impossible, the app just wants to update itself right away (along with the watch plugin apks).
So the culprit is either EMUI12, android 11, or the wearable apk itself.
Would be good to know for sure as Samsung will not support these devices.
Ps. Both wearable app and the plugin app have app launch/battery optimization disabled.
I'm having the same issue. I'm either going to sell the phone or downgrading my os
I'm thinking it might be Bluetooth in general which is having issues. It seems to also be disconnecting from my car.
I've done a network settings reset to no avail.
Wonder if it's worth the time and effort wiping, downgrading all the way to emui 10 and then reinstalling GMS etc
My pebble and Huawei watch keep their Bluetooth connection without issues. Only the galaxy watch is disconnecting. My Bluetooth speaker and car also work fine
Same issue. Galaxy Watch keeps disconnecting/won't sync after my Huawei Mate 20 X updated to EMUI 12. Has anyone found a solution? I will have to ditch the phone (I love the big screen) or the watch. If I keep the phone I guess I'll pick up a Huawei watch.

Wow that's surprising that even Huawei devices with Google services built in are having the issue.
I ended up "upgrading" to an Oppo Find X5 Pro.
Still prefer the Huawei camera though
I found a solution. I installed the Huawei HiSuite software on my desktop computer, plugged my phone into a usb port, and used HiSuite to downgrade my phone's OS from EMUI 12 to EMUI 11. Now my watch works fine again.

I'm having the same issue with a P30 Pro updateted to EMUI12, my Gear S3 won't show WA notifications and often it's disconnected from the phone
Will the downgrade from EMUI12 to EMUI11 delete all the phone data?

yes
Despite the downgrade to emui 11 the galaxy wearable app doesn't work... I can't restore the watch backup, I can't update the apps,, I can't install new apps.
Sometimes the processes start, but they stop after a while like the BT connection stops... Also the link to Samsung account is unstable and asks for the password many times...

Just to be sure, I've linked the watch to the company phone, a Samsung A50: everything worked without issues, so it's definitely a problem related to the phone...
After 3 days spent on it, I've decided to leave it linked to the Samsung and in case I'll purchase a different watch...
Yes, Huawei disappointed me,again
After updating tonight on my P30 pro, the watch works again.
So you are happy again !!!
Don't be discouraged too easily ...
Watch: Samsung Galaxy.
Smartphone: Huawei Nova 5T.
Rolled back to EMUI 11.
Couldn't restore watch back-up, samsung health didn't work.
Reinstalled galaxy wear, the plug-in and now seems to be ok, except whatsapp notifications.
For samsung health installed an older version, logged in and after that updated.
přešel jsem na telefon galaxy s9+ , Huawei stojí za hovno.

Hi, out of curiosity, what update fixed it (huawei OS or Samsung app)?
I've had this same issue since Emui 12 on my P30. I'm not going to do anything yet, and hold out in hope that it'll get sorted with some update.
I've put this problem on a Huawei forum and a few people have said they've got tge same problem.
