Lenovo A Plus (a1010a20) Soft Brick, Help Needed - General Questions and Answers

Since i flashed the TWRP recovery i got the following problem:
https://i.imgur.com/MluI0gM.jpg
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I got lucky and it loaded into TWRP, then I formatted /data/ and it worked. Also the problem was that the /data/ partition was encrypted, and TWRP wasn't able to decrypt it.

carliv's recovery in Lenovo A269i

Hello everyone, I don't know if I am posting in the right section, if not, please help me in finding the right one.
Can anyone please direct me where I can download the factory ROM for Lenovo model A269i. MtkDT accidentally got deleted with backup of the ROM. Now the phone is stuck on the Lenovo logo when I was trying to root the phone. Sorry for my bad English.
Edit:
I have booted successfully the phone and installed carliv's recovery but the recovery doesn't open system, data and cache partitions.
Carliv touch recovery
I have been able to port Carliv touch recovery to Lenovo A269i, but can't test it as my phone was soft bricked. recovery can't mount /system. From all the researches I have made, I need factory rom for the phone to be able to recreate the partitions and to test the recovery.
All credits goes to Carliv for this successful porting of recovery to the device. I can't post in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1825722 as I have fewer than 10 posts.
Carliv recovery
Hi I have been able to successfully booted the phone in android 2.3.6. Already rooted it and installed carliv's recovery which I modified, but the recovery cannot mount /cache, /system and /data but in root explorer and adb, /system, /cache and /data opens normally.

sorry for late reply, I was very busy.
First of all, you WILL HAVE TO BACKUP your rom with the latest MTKdroid tools (v2.5.3 can backup the phone)
Secondly use framaroot to root your phone.
then use carliv recovery to create a custom recovery.
Again, Do NOT FORGET TO CREATE A BACKUP OF YOUR WORKING FACTORY ROM OR YOU WILL REGRET IT WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG. If mtkdroid tools takes very little time, it may mean that it hasn't backed up your rom.
Well, use google to find the tools mentioned above.
hi i just got my 269i,and i rooted it however i would like to install a custom recovery for functions like NANDroid backup/restore and for flashing custom roms. I have tried rom manager but my phone isn't supported. You said you have a custom recovery installed(carlivs touch recovery). I would like to know how you did this(step by step process) and download links to the recovery image file you used if possible

You probably are flashing the incorrect firmware or are missing a few steps in the firmware flashing procedure. Often, people forget to flash the sparsechunk.3 file (since the previous versions only had it till .2 )
Follow the following guide, step by step, perfectly, and you'll be fine.

Bootloop problem when going to recovery mode> Android 4.4.2

I have this problem last month that when I'm going to access recovery mode it always bootloop and doesn't do anything. THE LAST TIME I did is I flashed a twrp recovery image but I've download the wrong model for my phone. I used Flashify for flashing the wrong twrp recovery and as I entered, my phone rebooted but it stucked at the logo. So what I did was I removed the battery and it went to a boot. After that, I tried to enter in my recovery mode but it keep on bootlooping when I'm trying to access Recovery mode... I need suggestions and help from you guys! This problem was not solved by others that's why it will help not just me, also those who encountered my experience. I'm using Huawei Honor Bee :laugh:

I have flashed the system.img to data partition and it worked like a charm.
fastboot flash data system.img
I can now pass the TWRP splash screen and was able to flash my custom ROM.
This maybe the same resolution to bootloop or accident flash of userdata to an encrypted data.
Hope this will help those who has this same issue.
