Hi sorry if this is a stupid question, but i just got an old gear 2 and I want to install some faces from gearfaces but I can't seem to get it to work. I use watch styler to install the face. But I come across two problems: First is when i download the face on gearfaces it's in owsc and my watchstyler can't find it. Also when i try to send it to my watch on the samsung gear app I can't find watchstyler to select. Please help.

Hello everyone, I'm running into a weird issue with the Gear App store. When I had my Gear s2 classic paired to my Galaxy Note Edge, I was able to see the Snoopy watch faces and some of the Gear O'Clock watch faces as well. I could download them and use them on the watch with no problems. I just got the AT&T Galaxy S7 Edge yesterday and paired my Gear S2 classic to the phone. But when I go to the Gear App store, none of those watch faces appear at all. They don't show up when I search for them using the search feature either. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Gear Manager plus factory resetting the Gear S2 Classic as well. When I pair the watch back up to the Galaxy Note Edge, the same Gear app store lets me see the Snoopy and Gear O'Clock watch faces and download them with no troubles. Any idea whats causing this?

The problem is that Samsung forces developers to manually update their apps to support the Galaxy S7 lines. The mentioned devs haven't done so. Samsung may do it for them shortly, but if you want to get those apps/faces quicker, just contact the devs and ask them to update. I received several emails about this issue from S7 users on launch day, I went ahead and update all my apps and everything appears again

I used GWD to create my face(s). What do I need to do to "update" my faces?

You just submit an update, but instead of uploading a fake new binary, switch to advanced mode and select s7 in the compatible device list, then note that it is a description update only => submit. Takes some hours to go live

I have a question and I have searched this forum for answer but no luck.
The question:
Apprently there are some limitations in the Samsun gear app for ios, espicially regarding gear watch faces.
I really like the watch faces from Belvek Gear O'clock but I cant find them on my iphone gear app.
I have tried and to pair my gear s3 with an galaxy s5 phone and there im able to find the faces. I have downloaded and installed one watch faces and then paired my gear s3 with my iphone again and were able to redownload from gear app on iphone.
The problem is that when I pair my gear s3 to another phone all data/app/ s-health history and so on gets deleted
So is there anyway to be able to download the paid watchfaces on the samsung phone without having the watch paired, and then transfer those via Gear watch designer?

Tizen Store what I know from Z-series (Mobiles) seems differ from Store for Gear series...
If you check Gear S2/S3 Firmware... you can find:
com.samsung.gearstore as TPK...

Thanks for replying.
I was wondering if someone has managed to extract the Tizen store and install it on a gear s3.
The reason behind this thought is that the application layer should be compatible to some degree and enable user the ability to test apps that are available on the Tizen store.
I will give extracting the image and getting the TPK installed on the gear, later today.
While the gear s3 is a nice piece of hardware, the software support is still poor and if it was possible to get other packages working on the s3 via the Tizen store (even if they are not visually aligned to the gears design), it's still a far stretch better then no app at all lol.

I was forced to sign with Platform Cert... :angel:

Gear Series and Mobile Z series use few different Certs... for/from "Store"...
Problem 2.
Different Screen sizes...
In case of my Video example...
Gapps not start because Gear System related Info file not found...
My "idea" is to try few Gear Apps...
BUT since few days...
I saw many of Apps I would like to try... are paid apps... for Gear Watches...
For instance Filesmaster... to check if it would work also on Tizen Mobile...
As few of our users have little problem...

Hi everyone,
I just changed my phone (which is not anymore a Samsung) but I kept my Gear S2. Unfortunately, I realized I have no more the same full access to the Samsung gear store. I used to run with Pear Sports and I can't find anymore the app for the gear ( I found for my phone only). Pear Sport explain this is because the exclusive partnership they have with Samsung.
I desperately looking for this since few days already but can't find. So, my question is, where can I find another way to sideload all apps and install this Pear Sport on my watch again?

I'm too new here to post a URL apparently..
If you google "Samsung Gear Watch Designer" you'll find the watch face designing tool.
If you find out how to modify an existing watch face that came preinstalled, please let me know! I'd love to modify the Activity Sparkles watch face to have a date on it.

1. Download Gear watch designer (just google for it)
2.Download Java
3. install them
4. open gear watch designer, tab projects and own author and distributor certificate (by connecting your fit gear 2 pro and logging in to your samsung account)
5. Start playing around
Do you know de app IDs? Im trying to open the timer with a button and don't know how.
