Is anyone successfully using NoScript Anywhere (aka NoScript++) alpha with any version of Firefox for Android?
If you are, please list the version number for Firefox for Android, the version of the noscript alpha and which version of Android / ROM you are using. Thanks!
Hello everyone,
After Santa brought me a new locked and not rooted phone, and it turned out it's not recommended to unlock it (Sony of course), I began to mourn for the "quick controls" of the AOSP Browser.
This weekend I had some time, and was able to make enough changes to the original code, so the Browser can be installed normally and to work pretty decent.
Requirements:
Lollipop
(probably) Chrome to be the default browser
Tested on:
Sony Z5 - Lollipop 5.1.1
Nexus 4 - Lollipop 5.1.1
Not working:
Bookmarks sync
Full screen
Incognito mode (fixed in v 0.2)
If I have free time and there is interest to it, I may try to fix those
Version 0.2 changes:
Incognito mode added to quick controls
Fix some random crashes during search
I downloaded it on Zenfone 2 ZE551ML (X86) and it's not installing..I moved to /system/priv-app with permissions r-r-r but nothing..what can I do? (maybe Lollipop 5.0?)
Great thanks i was looking for aosp browser without need for root. It works on xperia Z1 5.1.1.
Are you going to work on it?
Hey. Nice browser. Works on my LG K4 2017 running Android 6.0.1 without root. Are you still developing the browser?

I have been looking for AOSP Browser for my device for almost 3 years ?? Finally I have found the right one that doesn't crash on launch. Thanks.
Hey, all so just for some context I have on me a Samsung Tab 4 - SM-T230NU
That I been trying to find a ROM for so that I can upgrade the Android OS on it.
Unfortunately, I am finding that is a no go, there are no ROMs at least that I can find for it that newer then Kitkat
So now I am asking
Is it possible on a rooted Android Device to run apps strictly made for newer versions of Android?
Thank you for your time

There are several release versions available, which is the correct one for my phone (Galaxy S4 mini running LineageOS 19.1/Android 12).
Thanks.
edit:
I think I figured it out.
ARMv8-A seems 64 bit version, ARMv7 32 bit version.
Since S4 mini is only 32 bit (e.g. according to here) I probably need the ARMv7 version.
