Hey Guys,
I've got a rooted Z3 with stock ROM and Dual Recovery since at least a year and no problem by now. Today I was bored and just looked a bit around in the Recoverys, first PhilZ, wiped cache and dalvik cache, no problem, device started normally, but after starting TWRP and restarting the device, it stucks on the SONY logo an the green light blinks. I don't know how that happened, I just updated the TWRP by installing it per ZIP and that's it, nothing special. Anyone got a solution for this problem, as I got a lot of datas and apps on my phone and I don't want to lose them? :crying:
EDIT: I can still access the Recovery and when I connect my phone to PC, it gets detected an I have access to the internal storage and micro SD card

did a factory reset, when I rebooted, the phone is stuck on the white htc screen, I am able to reboot into cwm, but everything on my phone and sd card have been wiped, my backups are gone. I tried adb, but my phone is not recognized. Any and all help would be appreciated.
Thanks

How long did you wait? The factory reset can take anywhere up to 5 minutes. When I factory reset my S4 and M8, it took a few minutes. Naturally, I panicked, but just wait it out and it should boot hopefully. :good:

I'm having the same issue, how are you booting into CWM?
Edit: I had to do a hard reboot using volume up and power buttons then once the screen turned black quickly press the power and volume down button.
Ive got the same issue but im stuck in twrp recovery, says i have no os installed and everything on my internal memory was wiped. I downloaded a rom onto an sd card but it failed to install. Now what?
Edit: I managed to get a Rom installed. I've been flashing stuff for years but whatever happened this time has me stumped. Completely wiped my phone and os. I believe it was something to do with flashing a themed version of twrp, that was the last thing I did before getting stuck.
[Q] Stuck in Lollipop flying dots,Flash Kitkat gives no external storage & no service
My device is a Nexus 5 32GB.
It was on Kitkat but I updated to Lollipop a couple of months ago, and everything was running with no errors.
This week when restarting the phone, it got stuck on the flying dots boot screen with nothing working to get it going.
I tried wiping Cache, Dalvikcache, Data, Factory reset but no effect.
I reflashed Lollipop original ROM using adb/fastboot but no use.
I flashed Cyanogenmod 12 but it got stuck on its own boot screen.
I flashed Kitkat original ROM and it got past the boot screen and worked, but most applications do not work (example: Camera, Gallery) and give a "No External Storage Error". I also have no Service (no phone, no mobile data), SIM card cannot be detected.
Again I tried wiping Cache, Dalvikcache, Data, Factory reset but no effect.
I downloaded the Lollipop OTA update but it got stuck on flying dots again, so I reflashed Kitkat.
Now I have no service and no external storage detected again.
I am unable to install any apps from the Play Store.
Please help

When you flash back to KK, did you flash userdata and cache ? If no, do so.
What do you call external storage ? N5 only have internal storage.
Then I would say, follow this tutorial if you didn't try it already : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47156078&postcount=2
It's help me when my phone won't boot up after downgrading from L to KK

i had 3 problems
1. first installed android one+1 rom.... after that i installed pure xperia z3 rom.... even after clearing all the cachces, dalvik and prtition, when i boot the phone , i can see the boot image of android one +1 i.e. google and after that i see boot image of xperia z3
2. when i was re installing the pure xperia z3 rom... i suddenly deleted the emmc files...
after that the battery drained up... and the phone didnt boot up...and its not even taking the charging

Hi there, my mother have an XT1033 and some days ago the phone got bricked in a black screen. I don't know what she was doing when it happened, but i know that the phone have its storage almost full, maybe this is the cause.
But the problem is that i tried to do a hard reset, but got an "Boot up fail!" trying to access the Recovery.
So i tried to unlock the bootloader, aparently it was succesfull since i could access the Recovery. But the wipe data/cache option solved nothing and aparently no data was wiped.
I tried to flash a new recovery, got the "OKAY" output but the recovery stills the same. Tried to flash a stock rom and still nothing changed. And actually, for some reason the phone did a successfull boot after all this, and was still with the old system, with the same data as before, and spamming error messages on the screen untill going to the black screen again.
I tried almosst everything, someone have some tips?
And sorry, english is not my first language.
On March 11 I casually decided to do the offered OS/ROM update on my Sony Xperia XZ. Unlike the times before that, this time it didn't go smoothly. In fact, the phone is stuck in a boot loop since then. I switch it on, the SONY logo appears, the Xperia logo appears and after some 10 secs the Xperia logo stops changing and the phone reboots. Repeat.
The bad thing for me: I have no proper backups All I would like is to access the data (esp. photos) on the device. No, they're not in the Google cloud.
Removing the SIM / SD card didn't help. Xperia companion can only flash the ROM anew, thus overwriting all data.
Is there anything I can try to access the internal SD?
Any help appreciated,
Chris
Are you rooted? Is your bootloader unlocked? Did you do an OTA update or use PC when it went wrong? If you did this on 11th March has this issue been going on since then?
The phone is not rooted, I didn't do anything with the bootloader, so I guess it's not unlocked. I did an OTA update when it went wrong. The issue still goes on, yes. I just switched the phone on and it is still looping.
Hope there's anything I can do...
Using flashtool without ticking the wipe data will give you a new fresh firmware without deleting data partition, doesn't matter if you're unlocked or not since you will be installing a firmware with official Sony signature so the phone will accept it, I accidentally kept my data partition through many flashes just to have to wipe it manually afterwards when I enter the post boot stage and find myself with all the old crap still in that I was supposed to get rid of, hope you solve it
