Hello dear Members,
After i took my losses and bought a fake samsung S8+ wich is called a KIICAA S8.
This damn thing crashed after an OTA update its now stuck in the bootloader. i've rooted couple of sony's, samsung and htc's so i think i found a flash program program that works...( its for an older model but i think it still would work.) But sadly i cant find a rom for it...
and since the real S8 has another cpu and other small things diffrent. For that reason i dont think that the real S8 firmware gonna work..
If anyone needs more details please let me know what you wanna know and ill answer as good as i can
or if someone can provide me the scatterfile for MT6763 would also be very nice, i've tryed mkt driod tool but it doenst work.

Hi there all!
I just got a new galaxy note 10.1 from South Korea and I have some questions.
I tried to find a guide to root the device but I couldn't find anyone specific for this model,
and I'm not sure if it's because I'm new to android (former apple fan, first android based device I own),or just because there aren't any
I hope someone can help me and guide me a little bit

I have the samsung galaxy note 10.1 model SHW-M480W android 4.1.2
And also another quastion
What rom can I use for this model? Is there aquivalent GT-8*** rom I can use?

I've got the same model that I bought when I lived in Korea last year. The file I've used to root is called
CF-Auto-Root-p4notewifiany-p4notewifiany-shwm480w.tar.md5
I got it somewhere here on the forum (don't remember where, so search for it. I just install it with Odin (again, read the root section on how to use Odin)
As for other firmware, I haven't had much luck. For some reason, the FW installs, but won't fully boot (boot-loops at Samsung screen). I haven't asked any of the smart people on here for help, but there is probably some trick to it. This model appears identical hardware-wise to the 801x models, but I guess it's not. I ran into the same problems with my original Galaxy S phone when I lived in Korea, only it was much different hardware-wise than the international version.
So rooting is easy, other FW, I haven't had luck with, but I haven't tried that hard to change it, either. There have been a few posts specific to this model on here, so search for them, too. But again, very little info on this model.
Im a bit new to this and i need help, see i have a galaxy note 2 sgh-i317m i have already rooted it but i want to install cyanogedmod and kit kat. Ive search information and ive seen it but only in at&t and im not that. And i found things about galaxy note 2 canada but i have no idea what that means and i dont want to brick my phone if some one could help me i would apreciate it. But i dont know wich rom is good because since im not att and im not shure what canada mmeans its hard to know what rom and ive tried flashing cm11 and it faild

trying to root it used amaricain 3f and it worked with twrp. Now seems like its not rooted cant play any rooted games says root first, don't know what to do or where to really look on the forums. > Is it just me< iv rooted every phone I ever owned this one is not as easy as my moto 3rd gen. thank you kindly for you time.

I would say buy a new phone. That phone is the manufactured anymore and the root problem is hard to get rid of. Possibly if you try another firmware change

trying to change to 5.1.1 wont let me, is that going to work? my phone company sucks don't know if I could bring it back, damm works on 3f but really its not rooted. why me ?

I'm a totally novice in phone transformation but I heard that i could probably kill the verizon protection throught a root on my phone.
I bought that Galaxy J7 as a prepaid phone in USA, but now i'm back in france and i can't use it here cause i can't join the network.
Yesterday I tried to install a new firmware but nothing change.
I've downloaded Odin; looked for some new rom but i'm a bit lost.
What should I look for ?
Is a new rom able to unlock that protection ? In that case, which one should I choose which would be compatible with my model ?
Cause i saw that i'm working with a J737VPP, but that don't make much sense to me. Must I choose only 737VPP firmware ? Or must I precisly instal an other one ?

Hello all,
I'm in a jam and hope someone can help. I have an older Samsung table, a Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition) and I am trying to remove root in order to be able to receive OTA updates again. I have used various apps to try and remove root but they have only removed small pieces and the device is still showing up as rooted/modified, even after performing a factory data reset...it is still showing as rooted.
The biggest problem is that the device is so old that I cannot find the original firmware in order to flash it back to stock in Odin. I have looked EVERYWHERE on the internet but all links to the older firmware have expired or been removed. I even tried calling Samsung tech support but they were no help at all. I then even got desperate and tried calling a local BestBuy to ask for help from their Samsung Reps and Geek Squad, but none were any help. So now my last resort is to reach out to the Android community.
So, as much as I hate to bother you guys, do any of you out there still have an old stock rom/firmware for the Verizon (wifi only) Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet (SM-P600P)? If so, PLEASE SHARE IT. That would be greatly appreciated. Many times I have hit a road block where no tech support anywhere could help, but you guys here at XDA have still come through when no one else could. You all have been lifesavers in the past, so I hope someone can help me this time as well.
Thanks in advance guys for any help that you can provide me. I've tried every website I can think of but keep coming up with nothing (e.g. I've tried Sammobile, Samsung, Kies, YouTube, here at XDA, etc.). Even if you can point me to a link that's still good where I can find the firmware myself, that would be great!!
