Hi I have recently purchased Xiaomi mi A1.. it comes wid stock android which ofcourse misses quite a few basic features. I don't find ROM support for mi A1 strangely yet.. hence requesting XDA legends for ROM support and custom ROMs

There's not much activity regarding threads for this device but, i was able to locate the following thread where you may be able to get some assistance from other members with the same device.

And a heads up... A handful of the threads that I can locate are actually located within various areas of the Forum.
If that link doesn't work out, the only other thread you may be able to get assistance from is the following but, keep in mind that Moderators tend to frown upon multiple/duplicate posts with the the same question at the same time. Thank you, i was having a hard time finding the relevant thread for 4x. Searched for 'redmi 4x ' and found the thread right away. I guess adding too much information may not work sometimes

Yes and No...
Sometimes a bit more information is needed because some devices share a common/similar name.
For example:
If you wanted to search for a Galaxy S3, there's also the JiaJu S3 and the JiaYu S3 (just to name a few).
Or a Galaxy Note, there's also the Flyer Note and the Asus Note (just to name a few).
Then if you wanted to search for something specifically for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3, you could search for the SCH-I535 but, typically (though not in every case), you can simplify it by just using I535 or even the device Codename D2VZW.
The xda-developers uses the same search engine system as what Google uses called the "Metadata" system.
When using this system, sometimes just typing it out will provide you with the results you need but, the key to obtain a more accurate result is by using keywords and leaving out the more common words.
If you were looking for the "LineageOS for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3", you would probably be able to locate it just by using that phrase but, if you need more accurate results, you could leave out the common words and simplify the device name by using something like "LineageOS D2VZW" or "LineageOS I535".
Well this is purely a suggestion and I hope that you learned a little something .

Hi I recently got the new Xperia XZ 2. I unlocked the bootloader but failed to root the phone after realising root has probably not been created yet for it or the apk root kits not updated to support it. So was just wondering is there anything out yet for it to be rooted?
Also I'm wanting to rid my handset of anything google but would that be risky? So far ive deleted the Google account most apps being from apk mirror

As I had first stated, on my previous post, that I don't have this device.
What I do know is that I've noticed that there's allot of individuals who are having issues with many (not all) of the Pixel and Xperia devices. Though, I've only noticed very few other avenues that had worked for some, I have noticed that a majority of them had turned to one (and had been fairly successful with) by using Magisk for Root and/or XPosed.
Please Note: I can't state that the following suggestion will or will not work for you since I have never owned a Google, Nexus nor Xperia device.

There's no such "Universal" TWRP because TWRP has to be custom developed to work with a devices specific hardware (there's more to it but, that's the bottom line).
Take a look at the following threads. They do have some discussion regarding the an XZ2 Custom Recovery (ie... PhilZ, CWM, TWRP, etc...). Don't be afraid to ask for some member guidance/clarification.

Sorry sir but these pre rooted or blotware removed ROMs are same as stock
And u will never understand without using my device how much it LAGS it is not even usable
