Has anyone actually managed to gets their grubby little mitts on one of these bad boys
I am dying to get some real world reviews of this and for some moves on the unlocking efforts etc

Maybe, but the Samsung screen is gorgeous and that's coming from an iPhone 4 user. I know the sensation has a qhd screen, but the super amoled plus is impressive.
I just want to get my hands on a sensation. Am soooo impatient!

I thought the release date was the 18th.
Have just spoken to them on the phone and Vodafone aren't getting them until the 18th and may not dispatch until 19th was the message I just got????

Another week of waiting.
This and the thought of a nexus 3 at xmas
My head really hurts.....

Think I'll just buy a Nexus 3 (providing it's good) at Christmas. I mean, we know the software will be good...but the hardware is a different matter altogether (especially if it's by LG )
Can't wait until we get some real good user reviews of the Sensation

The VF UK website always said "Expect to receive your device around 19th May"
Pre-ordered mine, so hoping to get one soon! Should get an email day of dispatch.

Me too but I'm not sure that changes the date it just means they post to the store rather than you but at least someone will be there to collect

That's what I am hoping too. Also I believe that if anything goes wrong with the handset you can just take it back to the store rather than sending it back?
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Can you not do that either way.
I always upgraded over the phone and got the phone posted to me but went into store for problems

I think with orange you have to send the handset back if you get it online. O2 told me that after the first 30 days I can go instore. Not sure about the other networks.

o2 uk and hello

Hello, my first post, awaiting delivery of the eagerly anticipated handset.
Just to let UK owners know, the HTC Sensation is now available to order on o2.

I wonder how bad their branding is? I know they've got a later ROM than Vodafone

really, i didnt know that!!! what is missing or late about it?

Later as in newer. The Vodafone ROM is 1.27 whereas the o2 one is 1.34 so should have some bug fixes in it

My 2p is to say it'll be S-ON but I might be wrong. Vodafone ones are S-ON

I've had my Sensation on pre-order since May through buymobilephones.net (21.50 pm contract) and £80 for the phone.
Mobiles are charging £220 for the phone on the same contract.
I just hope they deliver...

I'm getting mine tomorrow too (in theory at least!) - will update!

I quoted O2 the same deal over the phone and the best they could match without me bartering too much was £102 for the phone. Which to be honest, after 30 mins on hold I was ok with. It's been shipped, hopefully arrive tomorrow.

Good deal. I had no luck getting the price down at all! I had an extra 200 minutes added, but otherwise no cigar!

So far, very impressed. Apart from when sense decides to 'not respond' so a quick 'on and off' does the trick.

What ROM version you running?

I got my dispatch notice from buymobilephones.net today for my Sensation. Fingers crossed i get a good one and not one plagued with problems that i have been reading about over the last few days!

It's running the 1.34.206.1

It's a newer build so will have a few tweaks. As to what they are I've not a clue!

On their website, they have it only on contracts and should behere within the next few days. I went to the shops and they have no idea when they will have it....

I haven't, I've got a Vodafone unit. I'm just betting a tenner that that's the version it ships with. Paul O'Brien got that on his review model (which was also S-OFF)

Paul has kept very quiet with the sensation he has on hand and also about the bootloader...
He probably is under NDA.
Lets see what the WWE version brings us

They're technically not called WWE any more - HTC now show it as 'Europe' and use vendor code x.xx.401.x as opposed x.xx.405.x on older units

Yeah about an hour ago I took a look at the website, it really seems to be the only one that's selling these things at the moment.
Even the damn Sony site keeps saying coming soon... BUT HOW SOON IS SOON!!!
Still thinking whether to order at Clove or not.

I'd like the white dock too but waiting for someone to show stock... I have the black Z but like the white dock, will look nice in my bedroom.
Was hoping to get the black one in the accessories offer from Sony but by IMEI isn't qualifying, might try again. I'm surprised they're not available for launch though considering they were bundled in some territories.

Clove dont have it in stock at the moment. I spoke with them this morning and they said they are expecting stock middle of next week. I will be ordering one but dont think i will see it until next weekend at the earliest.

Solar Red is shipping starting July 1 in Taiwan, so I suppose a couple weeks after for US, based on what happened with the original U11.
