Dualshock4 version 2 input lagg on android - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Guys please figure this out with me,
Sony has 2 types of Dualshock 4 controllers, there is version 1 and version 2 which is more refined compared to version 1.
The thing is I usually play with sony controllers on my android devices, however sony devices are not compatible with android devices unless you have a sony smartphone or tablet, this always resulted in an insane input lagg during gameply if you connect the sony controllers to any android device except sony ones. The solution was to install an app called Bluetooth Auto Connect, this app would make sure not to have any input lagg on any controller connected (dualshock 3 and 4) to an android devices.
But the big thing is, I recently bought a brand new Sony Dualshock 4 version2, its almost the same as version 1 but they changed some minor things with the design of the controller, You would expect that this controller should function fine as the Dualshock4 version 1 on android. However the Sony dualshock4 version 2 has constant input lagg, even the app (Buetooth Auto connect) cant elliminate the input lagg, but strangely enough with the Sony dualshock4 version one everything is fine.
Do you think this can be fixed, Im so frustrated, because its the same controller Dualshcok4, the difference is just in design and not much more, if you know somehting please let me know

Game controller with Bluetooth for games Question

Can I use a bluetooth wimote or bluetooth playstation controller with the Note 10.1. I would like to play some old Nintendo games I used to play back in the day with the emulators. I read that you can use bluetooth controllers when playing games which I would prefer since the whole on screen controls don't appeal to me and I find it difficult. My question is do I need root in order to set this up or can I do it with stock on the 10.1. I heard of some sixaxis app or something but don't know if I need it. looking for some help since I'm sure others on this board know a lot more about this than I do. If anyone has any other advice for me...I'm all ears. Thanks

I'm not sure about the Wii mote, but the Sixaxis app is specific to playstation controllers I believe and requires root so i doubt it would work on the stock 10.1.

+1 for this query.
On the TF101, you just needed to connect a PS3 pad via the USB port and press some buttons to verify it worked. This in turn synced the controller. After this switching on the tablets blue tooth and pressing the PS logo on the PS3 controller would allow it to work via blue tooth. No root or sixaxis app needed. I'm guessing that won't work here?
What about purchasing the usb connector kit for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 that supposedly works with the Note 10.1. Get the connection kit plug in the usb controller into the usb port on the connection kit and see if it allows it to synch with bluetooth like you listed above. I would love to know if this works.
If you want to play Nintendo games I suggest the NES.emu emulator from the play store. It will discover wii motes in app and you can use them to play. Works very well with no root.

PS3 Sixaxis controller needs root and the app. You can always use an xbox controller wired or wireless (with dongle via usb and app) more work though. Or connect a bluetoothe keyboard or wired keyboard.
As for emulators I recomend that you get droidemu lite and support the developer and get the full support as this emulator has all worthy emulators in it except n64 and ps1. He is very responsive to issues and fixed issues in a timely manner.
I just tested with mine and I was able to connect a Wii Remote using WiimoteController in less than 5 minutes. I tried it for a few minutes in GTA3, no problems so far.
Can confirm Sony PS3 wireless bluetooth controller works with SixAxis but requires root. Aside from the convenience of wireless controller it also extends the life of your port connector from wear and tear.

Smartwatch SW2 and Android 2.3.x

Hi, I have Smartwatch MN2 and looking on SW2. My phone is Xperia Play with Android 2.3.7 - I don't want to update to 4.0+, cause gaming with Xplay on ICS+ is horrible. I know that officialy is everywhere written you need Android 4.0+, but I want to know if watches cannot connect to Android 2.3 and really need ICS+ or if they could be connect well but some features and apps don't work on GB. I'm going to buy new phone in about a year or two probably, but now I still want my old Xplay cause playing on touchpads which is built into phone is simply ingenious
Try to download the official app from the playstore . If it works you could have a chance.
I think that there will be some things you can do because some bluetooth things were changed at 4.x. and a lot things are running at your phone , because the apps are running on your phone and not at your SW
Maybe you could try the SW at you your local store?

Might be time to upgrade....
So after half an year I bought them and tried it. Smartwatches connect to the phone via bluetooth without any problem but then you need Smartconnect aplication (for GB is only Liveware which is for MN2 and older) and app right for SW2 (Smartwatch SW2 in play store) - in GB play store you can download only Smartwatch app (for MN2). So there is no HW problem, only SW. I flashed ICS rom and Smartwatches working fine - but 512MB RAM with ICS and Smartwatches connected is horrible - gaming is immposible. I want try take Smartconnect and Smartwatch 2 apks and push it to GB but I thing it will not work.

[Q] No love for the HP Slate 17?

There is next to none for information on this tablet which I find surprising. I picked one up and I think for the features and price it is a fairly good deal. Who doesn't want a bigger android tablet that is still portable?
I just wish there was a root for this as I would like to use the sixaxxis app and my ps4 controllers. I can bind the controllers by BT, but there's about .5 second input lag. Also whether I connect 2 controllers by usb or BT, android sees them as one controller. Is there any solution for this without root?
The other thing is that google play games won't sync progress. I did a clean restore and it still doesn't work. Perhaps the x86 architecture has some compatibility issues.

dualshock 4 v2 issue

guys,
the new dualshock4 (version2) seems to have problems to play games with decent input, i mean i have allot of input lagg but with the old dualshock4 (version1) this is not the case. I usually play gamestream but its not possible witv the dualshock4 version 2, there is always input lagg, the controller is brand new.
Im on the latest android on my k1 rooted, please let me know if there is anything that can be done.

Black shark helo My View: DONT BUY! Not a Real GAMEPAD. No HID . Disabled Touch

EDIT 2: Basically both controllers left and right are detected as A B X Y. There is no dpad. Its amazing that nobody on the Chinese forums (as far as google translate shows)is willing to acknowledge this as an issue. The Right side controller is only detected as a mouse pointer not even a right stick.
EDIT1: CORRECTIONS; The gamepad (LEFT SIDE ONLY) works as a normal HID controller on Other android phones(not on black shark HELO)..PPSSPP detects it as a normal analog. I was wrong in my initial view. However it still does not work on the helo phone properly. DIsabling game dock does not help there must be something else causing the issue. If anyone wants to tell me how to root this phone...I may be able to try a fix
Okay this is more of a warning to people who wish to buy the Black shark helo phone with Gamepad (dual 2.0 left and right). I will try to get a vid review done soon.
So I bought the Helo 128gb/8gb ram:
1. It comes with 1 left side gamepad and a case...(U CANT USE THIS CASE FOR DUAL LEFT AND RIGHT CONTROLLERS!) I had to buy a new Double controller case from aliexp along with the right side controller.
2. THIS IS NOT a HID gamepad. ( for example if you use other external/bluetooth gamepad emulators like ppsspp or games like implosion will detect the controller) This gamepad is not detected by some games iv tested. For example ppsspp will not recognize the Analog stick no matter what you do. Implosion and shadowgun legends straight up Disable touch controllers and fail to work with the gamepad. Moonlight has major problems working with this for gamestreaming
3. This gamepad is fine if you just want to map touch controls via the mapper (as long as the game doesnt auto disable touch controls)
4. The gamepad mapper is broken, the keys cannot be removed from the touchscreen. They stay stuck on the screen even when you dont want to use certain keys.
5. The helo phone has problems with games that support REAL HID gamepads even when no gamepad is connected. These games assume the gamepad is connected to the phone and disable the touch controls. (this is joy event issue which existed on many non HID Iready go Much devices)
6. You can use the Helo Phone with an ipega/other HID gamepads...still this will not help with games that disable touch (implosion wont work even with 3rd party controllers as the device is simply buged like older snail/much game phones ). However Moonlight gamestreaming can work with 3rd party controllers. The black shark 2.0 controls dont work properly as they are not real controllers.
7. There is no L3 /R3
8. Please be aware that most of the youtube videos DONT do proper reviews of this device with the dual game pads and Mainstream Sites dont either. Most are using preview clips and hands on clips as full reviews, these are disingenuous.
9. This wont be fixed. No amount of firmware patches can fix this as its a hardware flaw(judging from my past experience) Yes you can root and disable joy event files in the system folder but that will cause more problems.
10. If you want a proper gaming setup the POCCO F1 or any other Xaomi high end device is far better with a third party mapper/controller. This is simply only useful for touch mapping on casual games that dont have any native controller support..however you will get a better experience with a proper mapper and 3rd party controller.
I wrote this in a rush since there is nothing much out there about this device, a full on proper review is required.
