Siemens sx56 unlock to use with uk vodafone

Hi
I'm new to this and would appreciate any help with the best way to unlock my at&t sx56 so I can use it with vodafone uk.
Rom version: A.20.17 ENG
Rom date: 15/5/03
Radio version A. 20. 10
Any help would be appreciated as i am a complete beginner.

You can only use SX56 on a 900 or 1900 network. If vodafone uses 900/1800 you should be able to use it. If it uses only 1800, then you can use the bandswitch tool by xda-developers or go into the bootloader to change the band to 900/1800. But I doubt if you will get good result.

easy way to remove a sim lock is to get the serial cable and use the xda unlock tool from this site

Sprint HTC TP2

hi guys, i have just bought sprint tp2 and im using gsm here in Brazil... i dont like the sprint ROM, so theres the question:
If i made a HardSPL on it, to get a custom ROM, am i losing the GSM network ??

HardSPL doesnt have anything to do with GSM or CDMA network to my knowledge. You will have to phone unlocked to be used in other networks. Since you have done that, I think you are good to go.

the sprint model is unlocked for non-US GSM out of the box, and Hard-SPL wont remove any functionality and no ROMs should effect this either (i have the same model, ith hard-SPL and NRG's rom and it works with my german T mobile SIM)

Once you flash the CDMA HardSPL to the phone, you will be able to flash custom ROMs. However, you will still need to flash CDMA ROMs and radios, even though you are using the GSM radio. GSM TP2 ROMs will not boot if flashed to a CDMA device.

problem whit preven relock

when I run htc-connection or htc-provxml I get this message
the carrier doesnt exist in database.
please contact your carrier for conection
setting and go to setting>cellular>edit APN for furher configuration.
my phone is t-mobile but I live in Colombia and my company is movistar

do it with registery...u can unlock by chevron...just set ur country to us!!!

problem with htc snap s522 rom update

just got this phone and got also the official WM6.5 update file from htc uk website
During the update at 0% getting invalid vender id [err:294]

It is GSM quad band but I see option in band select for WCDMA and GSM.
It has sim slot I use it in TMobile. The rom image is 1.23.422.1

OK, I got it partially resolved thanks to JockyW
i run hard-spl (1.17) from this link and after that update went smoothly up to 23%...

I got stack at 23% with communication error [262], any tips what can do next?

ok update, I have tried one more time with spl 1.19 and then with rom:
[8-21-2009 T-Mobile Dash3G WM 6.1 ROM 1.17.531.5] (OS ONLY)
and it worked fine this time. WM6.5 was loaded successfully.

Help migrating HTC m8sd China Telecom to India

I have HTC m8sd china telecom version S-off using sunshine, have tried various methods to port to india rom but failed, have tried using india RUU as indicated in OTA, RUU thread, using china telecom RUU and then restoring india twrp backup, bindroid, oweida etc but am not able to migrate the same, the system goes on continous reboot ( have followed steps to the letter), the best i was able to do was getting GSM +GSM on both SIM's but i require CDMA REVB EVDO on my mobile. pl. help

Me too I have the same issues but we need remodeling from @DutchDanny that will be appreciated from M8SD China Telecom to M8SD Indian version
