thanks. there is no led turning on when is charging. and it is rooted. thank you for you help.

Your phone isn't charging if it was the led would be on so check your USB cable and your charger.

Yeah first try another usb.

I check all. USB Charge. There is no led. I send it to Sony. Hope that the guaranty works. Because i unlock the bootloader.

[Help]Brick ?

HI Guys
Got a One S with a s3 cpu bootloader unlocked.
Today I let the phone on and wait until it discharges totally. Then I plug it using the charger.
What a surprise, the led turn orange during 2s and then turn off and nothing more happends. I stay like that during 2 hours just in case it is charging anyway.
But not, i can't power it on.
When i press the power button, nothing
When I press it during 10s, the screen flashes and nothing more...
I can't even boot on the recovery.
Feel free to share your ideas, thoughts...
in one word helppppp
Thanks
sounds dead :crying:
does adb recognize it
btw you are in the One S Forum

Oh, sorry--misunderstood
Good Luck on resolving it--
So is adb recognised ?

nope
doesn't look good
guess i am not a big fan of letting the phone run down to zero, although wouldn't think that would brick it
sounds like a charger problem. the orange LED shouldn't turn off if it's continue charging. Try another charger or charger with higher capacity. (i.e, iPad 10W charger)
UNfortunatly tried 2 different charger and usb from pc.
No change
Must be perm brick

Moto G Hard Bricked

when i flash the stock firmware files after restat my phone dead...

what happends?
i flash the original stock rom as i always do for testing..
maybe some files wont needed to flash and that cause the brick?
Maybe your battery died? Check this: http://motorola-g.blogspot.com/2013/12/how-to-reanimate-moto-g-dead-battery.html
Yep, I had the same problem with my testing device. The solution from Piar worked for me.. But I had to hold the power button about for 40 sec.

its not the batt, but wrong flash files...
not its dead and wont come to life...
well now i going to buy new phone so..what happens happens..!
I wonder if service cable from Defy/RAZR would work on Moto G. It has connected pins in USB and bypassed battery in order to flash soft using RSD.
Does bootloader work on your device?

G has locked bootloader. It is difficult to brick it. I wouldnt give up. Still possible that battery is dead. I cant check myself but I would check if it's possible to measure voltage on battery. Anyway, you can still disassembly the phone good luck!

My Moto G Hard Bricked too while downgrading to 4.3!
The phone wont power on even holding power button or plugged in a charger.
My PC doesnt recognize it anymore, so i cant do flash-blank
Now it seems like a useless piece of plastic
It never happened with me with any Sony or Samsung phone that has passed by my hands.
I'm giving up of motorola......

plug it in and hold the power button for more than 2minutes. watch if the white led light is blinking. if it does leave the phone plugged in for 1hour and it will turn on.

The device turned on, thanks.
But I'm facing other problem :/
I did the flash-blank to restore bootloader, ok, but it says 'Device is LOCKED' even after flashing motoboot.img
So I can't flash boot.img, recovery.img or system.img
Tried to unlock bootloader again, but is give me: "fastboot oem unlock disabled!"
It's weird because when I type 'fastboot oem get_unlock_data' he gives me other key than the first time I've unlocked it
My new questions is:
There's a way to force this bootloader to be unlocked?
Or how can I flash stock firmware with locked bootloader? (tried many firmwares, fastboot always says 'Perflash validation failed' for boot.img and 'Invalid signed image' for system.img and the devices says 'hab check failed for boot' | 'Invalid PIV signed system image'.
Can anyone save me from this hell?
UPDATE: After searching and reading so much in the web, i figured out that i wiped cid partition (yeah, i'm a douchebag) so i give up of try to fix my moto g and bought a new phone

It's probably hardbricked but what we need to know is what you did to cause this.
I'm gonna take a guess and say that you probably flashed a ROM that was made for a different device because you impatiently wanted to customize your device but couldn't find anything for your specific device.

You will have to flash your stock firmware via PC.
If you can't get any response from the device then its hardbricked, take it to a professional repair shop.

I haved this issue 2 month ago tried everyway is possible to fix it but always failed, I think it's because battery,if. You plug your phone to charger more than 6 hours the led switch to red and if you hold power button you will see a empty battery icon but the problem is come from hardware not software trust me.
The only thing I done is just went to Sony warranty service and gave them my phone and they switched my (unlocked)phone with a locked phone.

because of your green flashing light. normally the light should stay on while charging or, blink 3 times if the battery is empty. but random flashes are a sign for a broken board.

It's electronic. not every device is exact the same and sometimes some parts failure quicker then other parts. maybe you got a lemon device who knows.. (or "monday device" as we say in german hehe).:silly:

If you're lucky and it's battery, then order battery from aliexpress and some stickers for back cover. If u do it right, then waterproof will remain (but it wouldn't risk too much).
If you're not so lucky try to find xz premium with broken screen on eBay and use it as donor for mainboard, as I doubt u will be able to find it cheap or at all.
