Will let you know how it works when I get it.
Ps. Make sure you order model no. AP09S and NOT AP09Q (which only has Fastcharge and not Supercharge)
Looks very nice, please update us when it arrives.
IT works!!
Shipping was quick from China -- Less than a week.
Power bank is well constructed and has really nice feel to it -- Easily slips in to pocket.
Connected to phone at 35% and within 33 minutes it went to 85%. Really impressed!
Says that the actual power bank can be super charged also.
Comes only with a short 5A cable (no plug)
Definitely recommend!
At Aliexpress.com it's way cheaper than the ebay offer. Check this out: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pr...ty-Emergency-Battery/1239378_32656113610.html

Neither can be delivered to the US according to the site
Nor can it be delivered to Canada !
What's up with that ?!!!
Remember, look for the SUPERCHARGE option and not just the QUICK charge which has a different product number. See OP.

Well ya the AP09S model is the supercharge model but then the problem is you have to charge it using Huawei Supercharge adapter for the 22.5 W speedy charge.
Have you tried to charge it with 18W adpater, what is the speed of recharging it.
'm using the AP09Q model. I can recharge the powerbank using any model of 18W adapter.
Is there any way to buy it in europe?

Ordered mine in Aliexpress on 30th of January, arrived today in Tenerife, Canary Island, Spain.
Works great.
But as mentioned before you`ll have to look to the "S" Version, that´s the only one with Super Charge, the "Q" is only Quick Charge

I think, due to safety regulations of the Airlines its difficult to order Powerbanks with delivery via Air Cargo.
Tried to order a 20000mAh Xiaomi but they refused Transportation and cancelled the order.
See info here:

Many Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA) permit lithium-ion batteries that do not exceed 100Wh. The 20000mAh Mi Power Bank is rated at 72Wh, which is in line with most aircraft regulations. Please check with your local CAA regarding battery restrictions on flights.

I think you missed the OP's point of getting the SuperCharge "S" model over the QuickCharge "Q" model. It was so you can charge your Mate 9 Handsets at SuperCharge rates.. and yes sure you can charge the actual Powerbank with a SuperCharge adapter which is a bonus, but if time is not important to recharge the Powerbank itself then using a normal adapter would just take longer to recharge the powerbank.
Does AP09S support pass-through charging?

Hello, im looking for a good portable power bank without solar charging (or with if it doesnt effect the price) and around 20-50k mAh capacity.
I'd like to not spend more than 20GBP and the product to be certified for safety reasons, im not feeling well to walk around like a jihadist
Thanks
If however, you have a long trip planned or lots of devices to keep topped up, then take a 20000mAh Power Bank. All the portable chargers featured in the list have a minimum capacity of 20000mAh and are capable of charging most phones over 10 times.
I like the easyacc 20000 power bank, coz it has increative two input, which can save half time for me to recharge it. And the four outputs with the smart technology, just like the anker IQ technology. It means whatever devices do you use, it can get you best power. So good for fast charging.

Unfortunately they don't ship to my country
The best charging banks are...
Anker PowerCore+ 10050: The World's Smallest 10000mAh Portable Charger with Premium Aluminum Shell and Qualcomm Certified Quick Charge 2.0 Technology (Black)
or
Aukey Quick Charge 2.0 10400mAh Portable External Battery Fast Charger (16.2W / 5V 9V 12V Supported, Quick Output) for S6, S6 Edge - Silver
The first one is very small for the size and battery mah, it has quick charge and top quality batteries
I'd highly recommend the anker powercore+ 26800
it has 3 ports, 1 that supports quick charge 2.0 (also known as Adaptive Fast Charge) and a 10-stage charge indicator. comes with a nice cushy mesh bag for carrying. 26800mah
on Amazon if you scroll down the page a little there should be a promo code to take off about 25% of the price. in the Specials and Promotions section
edit: DO NOT buy Aukey, they play tricks with the advertising on how much power they can put out, and operate components higher than they're designed for.

yep that's the one! highly recommend it. also I would suggest getting the Anker 6ft. gold plated nylon charge cord because the one that comes with the power bank is very short and won't tolerate much abuse from an incident like taking a full force tug from a hefty power bank being tugged further than the cord will reach. you'll want a tough charger.
I've liked the RAVPower Car Jump Starter power banks. I got one over the holidays on special and the dual purpose has saved me in a few different situations of either dead car or phone battery.
I own the AUKEY PB-T1 10000mAh with Qualcomm 2.0 support for input and output! That's a stunning power bank, highly recommended!
But today I would buy an "Quick Charge 3.0 RAVPower TURBO 20.100mAh Powerbank Qualcomm QC 3.0 Technologie USB-C/Type-C (5V/3A)" With two outputs and Qualcomm 3.0 input and output. Samsung Note 4 only use Qualcomm 2.0 but Qualcomm 3.0 is backward compatible with version 2.0.
Qualcomm 3.0 input should give the power bank an extremly fast charging time (30 min is advertised by the manufacturer).
Just wanted to chime in.
I got an EasyAcc Quick Charge 2.0 20,000mAh Portable External Battery
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0142925GQ/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_u6k1wbQPDTWJ2
I love it! It has enough power to fully charge my phone and tablet every night for about 5 days. I recently went on a week-long business trip and I used it to charge my phone, tablet, 3DS and Vita. I only had to recharge the battery once the entire week.

So you plug it in and turbo charging is displayed on your screen?
It's doesnt say "turbo charging" but (could be my imagination) it seems to charge faster than a regular charger. for the price its cheap, has done me good so far. owned it a month now.
http://www.amazon.com/KMASHI-15000m...id=1455681106&sr=8-1&keywords=kmashi+15000mah
That charger is 5v 2.1A =10w of charge
Turbo charger defaults on 9v 2.85=25w of charge
ChoeTech 15600mAh power pack works. The phone shows turbo charging.
The key is to have the battery pack off before connecting the phone and then turn on the pack after the phone is connected.
One of the LED will turn green to show that it's QC and the phone display will show 'turbo charging'.

Great find man! I been looking for something like this. Now if I can only find out if the 18650's are replaceable! Does it look like this box has screws to easily disassemble it ?
the battery pack i'm waiting for (hopefully not forever) is something with 3a fast charging that is more pocket friendly than anker/ravpower ~8000 mAH+
I bought this recently and its working great.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/iVoler-1000...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
Not only does it support fast charging via USB C, it uses the USB C port to charge itself as well. This means the battery bank charges in about 3 hours which is quite fast for a 10000mah pack. With a full charge, I can charge my 6p twice.

I second this pack. It's a bit on the bigger side, but the added capacity is really helpful when you have to go off the grid for an extended period of time (read international flights), and the extra weight isn't that obvious if you just throw the pack in your backpack or purse, for our lady friends out there.
As for the screws, I don't think it has, and the 18650s aren't supposed to be replaceable either. But heck, the cells are of exceptionally high quality and rated up to 500 cycles, so you don't really have to worry about them going bad.

Dear friends,
Could you please share your experience with power banks so far? I'm looking for some to buy soon...
I bought the Xiaomi Power Bank Pro. It does have a USB type C socket.
Unfortunately that socket is to charge the power bank itself, so connecting the 6P via the USB type C actually drains the phones battery and charges the power bank from the phone. :-o
It does come with a USB A to USB C cable, but it does not quick charge the 6P.
Thanks for your answer, I've read that pressing POWER button on the bank while connecting to the phone could launch charging via USB-C socket - did you try it?

So what are the differences between the Anker and the RAVpower?
Do they both support being charged at 5V/3A?
EDIT: That pocket-able one is kind of tempting - shame it isn't a more reputable brand
The RAVpower unite I ordered does both USB-C 5V 3A and Quick Charge 3.0 the Anker unite seemed not to (not even sure it did either, must where QC 2.0).

I would just ask Huawei for the list of authorized retailers in your country and then place an order with one of them.
For example my local Mediamarkt doesn't have them readily available but they're more than happy to place an order if I want. Same goes for the smartcover.

The USB C to USB C cable that Google sells for the pixel works to supercharge. It worked for me with an Anker USB C PD charger that has 4 other USB A ports in it too I purchased the charger and cable to use with my chromebook pixel LS and plugged in my mate 9 on a whim... There's a difference between "fast charging" and "supercharge". I have a charger that will "fast charge" the M9, which still gives two lightning bolts, but it says "fast charging" rather than "supercharge". What does it say when you plug it in? I'm skeptical that it's actually supercharging. IIRC, fast charging shows two different sized lighting bolts, while supercharge shows two of the same size bolts (but my perception may have been off). My "fast charging" charger will charge the phone pretty fast, but not quite as fast as the original supercharge charger. And it seems that it does it with more heat in the phone than the supercharge charger.
Does anyone have a link to an official mate 9 charger buying page? Do u think there's a chance to find a portable charger (with support for huawei quick charge)?

Only took a mere 5 months of searching for me to find one - and finally I have. And at a bargain price too - just $42.00 lol. Trying to comprehend how a company can make such a brilliant device, yet be so completely & utterly atrocious at everything else.

Man I could have gotten a Choetech charger (they're "Anker" cables, same factory) and some proper-spec USB-C cables with it, at that price.
Why insist on "official" if it doesn't exist or resellers are asking way too much, do research on alternative brands instead and, save some money.
I bought Huawei Honor Holiday Accessory Gift Box includes selfie stick, fast charge power adapter, USB-C data cable, and USB-C to Micro-USB adapter.
Trying to find one with an Australian plug - it's just not happening ?
