Hi
I have a honor 8 ,with a quick charge feature, it is working with the official wall charger + usb c cable sold with the phone.
I would like to buy a longer usb c cable. How to be sure it will provide fast charge? Could I buy cheapest cable?
Thanks

I looked on Amazon and what I found was this usb c to type C charger
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B017...rger+5v+2a&dpPl=1&dpID=416MoYVvhHL&ref=plSrch
It's rated at 5v/3a but the charger that is used by the honor 8 is 5v/2a so I was wondering if this would work or no
You could use it to charge your Honor 8 but it won't quick charge it.
The quick charger you get with the phone is a 9V/2A and while it can charge Qualcomm Quickcharge enabled phones the opposite is not true.
I guess you'll have to find a charger that fits specifically to the Honor 8.

honor stock charger is rated at 9v/2A
Has anyone found any other charges, does Honor sell the charges separately. I'd like to buy a few for home and office.
I ordered this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/HUA...32708509123.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.KIfdoC
It comes with a Micro USB cable, so you'll need a Type C one. Fast Charge works.
What I did was order the Huawie Honor gift box that comes with usb to usb-c cable, rapid charger adapter, micro usb to usb-c adapter, and a selfie stick. I got it for $10 off amazon during black friday. I went this route, because there really wasn't much 3rd party support nor guarantee their rapid charge work on this phone.
I would like to buy a 10 ft wall charger for my pixel XL. Wasn't sure if it needed to be USB C to USB C or what so I can get the fast charging capabilities still. Anyone have any suggestions for longer chargers? The stock one that came with the phone just isn't long enough.

Does it come with the wall adapter? Because the only one I have has only usb c connection on it. The one that came with my phone.
I hear ya on the charger that came with the phone, they could have definitely made the cord longer.
I plugged it in for the first time and was like WTF . Barely reaches to a table.
Why not just use a cheap two prong extension cord and plug your charger into that?

It does not come with a wall adapter. You'd have to buy a USB -a adapter to USB -c or just buy another wall adapter.
I bought this
AUKEY USB-C to USB 3.0 Adapter for MacBook Pro, Nexus 6P 5X, LG G5 and More (2 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AUKU1OO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_taa_GyR1ybSDM3SK3
so that I could the factory wall adapter.
Hello guys.
The usb C to C cable that came with my phone is getting a bit battered with use. If I get a new one, will I still be able to get a rapid charge?
In other words, will any usb c to usb c cable fast charge my phone as long as the brick part of the charger is used?

Choetech charger on amazon is what I bought and its worked fine. They have them on amazon.
Thank you for your reply.
Sorry if I wasn't clear enough on my original post. Since the charger part works fine, I was wondering if I could just buy a usb c cable instead. If so, will any usb c to c cable, along with the original charger (the part that plugs to the outlet), be able to "rapidly charge" my 6p, or do I need to find a cable with x or y characteristics?
Please google Benson Leung and his work on testing and approving USB C cables for Google phones. Then you'll know more about the cables and what to buy.
But to answer your question, yes any USB C-C cable can work for rapid charging with the stock charger provided they meet the proper USB C specs.
Hi
Can I connect an otg usb key and a charger at the same time to my usb c honor 8 phone through a usb c doubler, like the one sold on AliExpress?
Or will I burn everything..?
Thanks
Got a new G6 and now I have to replace my micro USB aftermarket cables with USB C cables that fit the G6. Do I need a special type of cable for rapid charging to work? or to connect the G6 to a computer?
I have an Anker 4-port charger and a rapid car charger.
Should I be looking at any special USB C cable, or will anything like these work?

or can I get a pack of Type-C to Micro-USB adapters and use it with the cables I have. Will it support rapid charging?
Thanks
I've been able to use turbocharging on my G6+ using my older micro USB cables with micro USB to USB C adapters.
Sent from my moto g(6) plus using Tapatalk
So the longer the cable, the less likely it'll read properly to turbo charge. When I had my Moto G6 play, the supplied charger would only turbo charge with certain cords. The longer braided ones wouldn't work properly unless I put it in an old Moto Z/Droid turbo charger. It was odd.
Then I ordered braided 3 ft cables for Moto Z, it wouldn't turbo charge with the car charger anymore. Seems to be very finicky. If the cable is advertised as turbo, and it doesn't work, return it and try another.
Good luck!
Using an Aukey two-port charger rated for QuickCharge3, and the moto reads it just fine as TurboCharge. Make SURE that your USB cable is actually rated as at least USB3.1. (alternately called USB 3.1 Gen 2) There are a lot of el cheapo cables out there which are either USB3.0 or even USB 2.0 with a type C connector slapped on them. Also remember that USB 3.1 cables are length sensetive, and should not be over 2 meteres (about 6 ft) long unless you are using what is called an 'active cable.' These have microchips in their connectors and are generally more expensive.
from Wikipedia ""A device with a Type-C connector does not necessarily implement USB 3.1, USB Power Delivery, or any Alternate Mode: the Type-C connector is common to several technologies while mandating only a few of them.[5][6]""
