Where do you live?
The One S is exclusive to T-Mobile only in the USA afaik. The international variant (PJ40100) supports WCDMA at 850, 900 and 2100 MHz. T-Mobile USA variant (PJ40110) supports WCDMA at 850, 1700, 1900 and 2100 MHz but (My speculation here!) I guess if your carrier has a 1900 network they might sell the PJ40110 variant without the branding, isnt this what some canadian carriers do btw?
Some details here

I live in Mexico, as far as I know 3G band here is 850mhz/1900mhz. I think it's the same with AT&T (because most at&t phones works here). I'm sure 1700/2100 won't work (because once I have droid Incredible 2, never got 3g works)
I don't like One X because it's too big. so any chance HTC One S will work here? (either T-mobile or international)

I have T-Mobile USA HTC One S with me and on the box it says that it supports 3g of 850, 2100, 1700/2100 and 1900Mhz. I just don't have AT&T sim card to test, but looking at the specs on the box it has to work at 1900Mhz.
I've read that it picks up 4G on at&t just not LTE.
T-MobileUS HTC One S running Stock Rooted 2.21.

your model will not work at all on T-mobile LTE (which needs band 2, 4, 12)
your model will only get 3G in refarmed 1900mhz areas
your model will get 2G/ EDGE
you should return/sell that model, and get another model (wait for D6616 official model with band 12 / wifi callin gsupport), or get D6603/D6633/D6643
I am interested in buying an unlocked Galaxy S7 and Samsung unlocked S7 does not include the radio frequencies 4G TDD LTE: B38(2600), B39(1900), B40(2300), B41(2500). These frequencies are included in the Verizon version and the AT&T version.
Do you know what these frequencies are used for and if I should be concerned that the unlocked version does not have them?
I was shopping on a deal with Verizon's model SM-A716V but was unable to determine the phone's 5g support frequencies.
The unlocked model, SM-A716U seems to support low band 5g as well as mmwave listed as the below
N2(1900),N5(850),N66(AWS-3),N71(600), N41(2500)
But for the Verizon model the only thing I can find is mmwave bands n260 and n261. It must also support verizon's low band 5g as it's a 5g specific model for verizon.
Wondering what low band 5g does it support and if I decide to leave verizon later will it be able to use Tmobile or Att's low band 5g?
This is what I found, the Verizon version supports n260, n261, and mmWave. I'm guessing the "n" bands are the low band (DSS) freqs and the mmWave stands alone? I don't think the Verizon model will be compatible on other 5G networks but I could be wrong.
It appears that the radio bands that are supported show that it will - I don't care about 5G, so the 4G LTE bands are the only ones I care about.
