F2FS and Ext4 support - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

Does Samsung Galaxy S8+ have F2FS and ext4 support?
I'm running the stock ROM and I've flashed TWRP and rooted the device.
I want to have F2FS filesystem on /data and /cache.
I also want to format the external sd card with F2FS or ext4.
Thanks in advance.

Is Is Ext3 or Ext4 Partition for S3-Evolution-Beta3.1-Ultimate rom for galaxy ace s5830?
This is the post where they have mentioned it:

Do we need Ext3 or Ext4 Partition for S3-Evolution-Beta3 ultimate only or we need it for S3-Evolution-Beta3.1 as well. Just to be sure in this case. Is it compulsory for S3-Evolution-Beta3.1 or we can do the normal wipe data and partition and install it from zip.
Can anyone provide me answer to this question?

pls help about ext4 mount

I m using stock Rom and early flash ateeq kernel v3. also support int.d . when I m using increase memory script like m2sd, ungaze,a2sd my ext4 not mount on boot pls help about it
....
if you are on CMW switch to twrp or Yaano's recovery
Use TWRP 2.2.2.0 by oblikas, it works with ext4 fs. The Yannou's recovery mount sd-ext with ext4 fs, but when you make a backup it saves sd-ext as ext3 fs and when restore you don't have ext4 no more.
Anybody found some fixes for yannou's recovery?
And the new TWRP 2.3.3.0 doesn't see sd-ext with ext4 fs.
Anybody tried TWRP 2.3.3.0 with sd-ext and ext4 file system?

F2FS - External SD problem

In Temasek's CM11 Rom for my N9005 device, the developer introduced F2FS filesystem in one of his builds.
I formatted my EXTERNAL SDCARD to F2FS and it worked fine within the rom.
Now im on CM12 by Temasek but now in CM12, F2FS isnt availble yet.
So now im here, with my F2FS which CANT be mounted by my ROM. I can still see the contents within recovery because the recovery can mount f2fs.
But both my Mac OSX and Windows PC cant mount F2FS or i dont know how.
I have really important data on my EXT SDCARD so i really like to know how i can mount the external SDCARD(f2fs) on Windows or mac.
Or better, a converter that converts F2FS to FAT or something else..
Thanks in advance!
While u are in recovery copy everything from the card off it... then reformat to exFat
or go back to CM11

Switching from EXT4 file system to F2FS file system

I'm currently on AOSPExtended ROM(7.1.1) with it's stock kernel. I recently heard about f2fs system which is more faster and has increased life span of flash storage than current ext4 system.
Now I want to know whether this ROM and kernel are f2fs compatible, and how can I change my partitions to f2fs in detail without loosing my current data.
Thank you.
in previous iterations of android, only data partition was allowed to be in F2FS format (by default data partition is in F2FS format unless you have a GPE device). all the rest should be in ext4. some kernels allow cache to be in F2FS thats all. you can format some partitions to F2FS via TWRP recovery. however if any F2FS partition is unsupported you will endup in a bootloop.

Question f2fs read-write

I wanted to start customizing a ROM for our s22 and I was wondering how can I make system and vendor partitions read-write
to edit the files inside
for ext4 it was possible to unshare_blocks. not sure it's possible for f2fs. but you could convert into ext4 still..
