[Q] apns not updated after pushing apns-conf.xml?

Hi,
I tried to push apns-conf.xml and reboot. But apn manager still shows only 2 apns that came with the rom (even after reset to default).
I saw somewhere that framework-res.apk needs to be updated also. Is this correct? If not, what else should I do?
Regards

[Q] Does anybody know how to delete the grayed out att apn?

Does anybody know how to delete the greyed out att apn? apn backup and restore wont do it even if you set it as system app. Is it maybe just a file somewhere? I am running 1.85 rooted unlocked. Thanks!
I think if you add a new apn, and set the apn type to "*", you can select the new one then delete the locked Att one.
Doesn't work. Also, APN Backup/Restore won't work because the One X is on ICS.
Why did you make 2 thread with the same question?

Root and delete it from the telephony database using sqlite editor. Why do you care if it's there anyways?
You already started the same thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26151357#post26151357

[Q] Does anybody know what system app is responsible for auto APN?

Does anybody know what system app is responsible for auto apn when you change the sim? On At&t stock ROM this process is restricted so you have to put apn manually. On Asian stock ROM this process is automatic.
Thats why I was wondering what is that system app?

Deleted AT&T APNs But Cant Add Another

Sorry, but I've been searching everywhere to try and fix this but ive hit a wall. I have an AT&T MB865 and could not seem to change the APN settings or add any new APNs. The AT&T stock loaded APNs have been locked and uneditable. There was and still is NO OPTION to add a new APN.
I had trouble rooting this phone but just managed yesterday after doing a factory reset and used the one click root. I've installed root explorer, titanium back up, apn backup and restor, busy box along with super user and can get to the directories well enough.
i tried using APN back up & restore, but couldn't seem to add an APN or delete and APN even after using super user to give it system application status. I still get the error message stating that Android 4.0+ does not allow 3rd party applications to access APN settings.
In any case, i thought i would try to manually delete the existing APNs and managed to get into data > data> com.android.providers.telephony > databases and deleted all of the files in there per another thread. The APNs disappeared but there is STILL NO OPTION to add a new APN.
I am trying to load Straight Talk APNs in order to get data access. I can make calls, send regular texts, but cannot use data or send MMS.
Any help in getting proper APNs added and data working would be greatly appreciated.

Fix Data Connection on Fulmics G3 ATT??

Today I flashed the new Fulmics update for my D850. Now, my data connection does not work, but my data (4G) does not. I suspect it has something to do with the APN. The APN is set to ATT Nextgenphone in the hidden menu, but I dont know how to change it. I did a clean flash of the ROM and even did another clean flash after I realized there was an issue. How do I fix it?

Just add the correct APN under access point names under Mobile networks.

For some reason, I think because of Fulmics, it says No APNs and I cant add a new one. Apparently you can add them through the hidden menu but I haven't figured out how to edit the APN that is shown in the hidden menu.
I have the d850 model as well & had zero data nor could I edit or add an APN when I flashed fulmics 6.0. The dev then added a flashable file in the thread (post #15743) that fixes data.

I added an apn and still have no data. I like this Rom but they need a fix stat!
There's a specific patch in the fulmics app for the d850 that fixes the data problem.
To fix the problem you should go to the app fullmics hub.
Afther thath choose the option fixes.
When you get enter in this option you should choose the option D850-Mobile Data Fix
And it will start to download.
You have to memorize where is the file and lather enter into recovery and flash this file.
Dont forget the wipe to get the fix witouth other troubles
