i noticed the same problem when i upgraded from 6 to 7 from the OTA, but now i received a NEW ONE p2 for a friend, i tested with youtube and yes.... the android 6 is louder.
Seems that the quality is higher on android 6... and at 50% of volume , idem the android 6 output is higher.
now i updated the phone to nougat and the volume lowered...... it is a nougat problem.
it would be great if someone is able to "understand" what file or configuration is changed from marshmallow to nougat, so we can change/flash this file to nougat to increase the volume as the stock rom android 6.0 which the phone arrived with

Hi All,
Since I couldn't get any valuable information regarding the 6+ china variant in the honor 6 thread I've decided to open a separate one.
Problem is whatsapp notification dead after about 20-30 minutes of usage. Upon reboot the problem is fixed and I've already tried all the usual recommendations:
1. Make sure data is always on (its only whatsapp and other app's notification is working)
2. Make sure wifi data is always on even when phone is asleep
3. Trust app
4. Allow all permission to it
5. Battery saver use performance and smart both yield same results (cant disable power saver, its either performance smart or ultra)
6. Made sure it has all rights in notification manager
Model: PE-TL10
Build Number: EMUI4.0_PE-TL10_6.3.1
EMUI Version: 4.0
Android version: 6.0
Latest firmware was downloaded from here:
http://emui.huawei.com/cn/plugin.php?id=hw...=detail&mid=125
I want to downgrade back to stable version but unable to do so, and all downgrade pack is for B900 (international) version but not for my phone. Tried but didnt work.
Anyone got the patch for CHNC00 version downgrade from marshmallow to lollipop and lollipop to kitkat ? or even better if marshmallow to kitkat as the stable firmware is on kit kat.

You can try this app to get the new firmwares for your phone model.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teammt.gmanrainy.huaweifirmwarefinder
Since you are on EMUI4.0. Update to 4.1 B3XX or which ever next version is applicable for your phone model. Then you will get the system update to nougat immediately.
For example. I was on L29C432B180. I didn't get the nougat update then and I didn't get any update for 4.1 either. Once I updated it to L29C432B190 THEN I got the system update to B560.
Similarly for you, update to EMUI 4.1 using dload method first. Then switch on the wifi and see if you are able to get the system update to B563 or whichever version is applicable for your model.
So you can use firmware finder to download the EMUI4.1 version from the list you have. Download the full package. It is always better. After download, check the md5, unpack it , then push it to dload folder - > all these options are available in firmware finder app. once you are done with all these steps. Switch off the phone - > press volume + , Volume - and Power button at the same time. It will start updating.
Once that is done you are in EMUI4.1. Now switch on the wifi -you should get the system update to nougat.
Check this thread. https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/l29-c636b563-ota-firmware-finder-t3563403
Try and see if this works for you. Hope you found this information useful. :good::good::good::good:
Hi
I also bought my Mate 8 last week. I am also in Australia. I have just updated it to 7.0 minutes ago.
Go to settings/update
click on menu
then download latest package.
It downloaded L09C636B211 for me. update to that version.
After rebooting I went to check update again and L09C636B563 was available.
buggy
My phone did an OTA update to nougat build B563 last week and I've had nothing but problems.
Random volume drops, sound may as well be off. Miss calls & notifications. Only a reboot fixes the volume.
Also it seems .M4A files are no longer supported?
The music app will play them but no sound.
The Chinese variants are up to build 573 or higher.
I think an update/fix might be a long way off?
Hello there,
Last week I received via OTA the latest version of EMUI. Build: `NRD91M test-keys`. I thought the update was succesfull as it hadn't show any errors but today I see that bluetooth is not working. I made a restore defaults and it continues without working. Anyone here had the same problem?
Hi
I have the Same issue. Did you found any solution?
I was also unable to put the hihonor rollback nor firmware on it - Installation stuck at 5%.
mine was rooted before OTA upgrade... maybe the root issue?
FRD-L09 with NRD90M test-keys
Thanks for help or hints
same problem seems that it's happen to all people that unlocked there bootloader and rooted there devices if anyone have solution please tell
yay - after few weeks with a bricked phone I was finnaly able to fix it:
- installed rollback "FRD-L19&L09, from Android 7.0, EMUI 5.0 to Android 6.0 EMUI 4.1, C900B300" from hihonor.com
- installed "FRD-L09, Android 6.0, EMUI 4.1, C432B131" from hihonor.com
- normal over the air update to 7.0 back again - Done.
I'm not sure if they had changed those update.app files or my SD-card (fancy 10class 32GB - stucket at 5%) - this time I used an older 8GB sdcard which works like a charm...
greetings
Hello. I have on my phone emui 4.0.1 android 6 B860 ota. I tried to put Viper4Android and I broke rum, tel. I start my functions on it, when it sounds I do not hear anything, and also if I want to listen to the music. How can I return to lollipop, will I make it functional? Your phone has the Chinese version.
As you can all see there is android 10 out.
Just wanted to warn all of you who like to switch often from android 9 to android 10 and vice versa, that the first firmware for most of the countrys that came out on Sammobile is A750FXXU4.... which means the bootloader is Rev.4 the same like for the last Pie rom
That means you can rollback to last Pie firmware from Q with Odin.
Eventualy samsung will update firmwares with new bootloader, security fixes, and ect...
So it means if you update your firmware with rev.5 bootloader when it comes out, you will newer be able to go back to Pie.
Some of you probably know that, but there are others who dont know that so just to be careful.
i want to ask question .. samsung provided device update that includes Android 10 for Galaxy A7 2018 ,, and with this update Device becomes slow .. games become to lag alot .. it takes a lot of time to switch from rear camera to front camera these problem were not there when the device was android 8 and 9 ..
and i add to add one more thing that i was using the device care widget of the phone itself .. which told 2.6 to 3 .0 gb free RAM in case of Android 8 and 9 .. and since the Android 10 maximum RAM I have free is only 1.6GB even after FACTORY RESETTING and REBOOTING the device .. what should i do ??
I'm will not recommend to upgrade Pie to Android Q because its still buggy.
