Hi everyone!
Recently I've created my new Android app and today I'd like to introduce it!
Finger Scanner - app simulating a fingerprint scanner that might be used to prank your friends or to unlock your device in a unique way!
Unlike other similar apps it has no secret button what so ever. It uses built-in camera to detect whether you cover the camera lens and runs special algorithms to determine whether to unlock your phone.
Main features:
- lockscreen replacement,
- override home button (compatible with launchers)
- two different scan working modes,
- many customization options,
- scan or pin unlock mode

Thanks for your comment. This error is caused by data overload. You either are clicking on scanning area too fast or your phone can't handle the scanning time that you've set (which shouldn't be the case for your Alcatel OT-6033A). Did you manage to unlock it anyway?

I could unlock my device without problems but the same message alway appears to me.

Today I,ve updated my app to version 1.2 adding option to set custom wallpaper and to override home button. This option is marked as experimental (on Android version 4,0+) but after overriding home button you should still be able to use your own launcher without issues

Poweramp music fx toggle? SOLVED!!

I've activated it in the settings but it's not showing. Anyone got any ideas why? Always did before?

How did you activate it if it's not being shown in Settings??
It's under Settings - Audio - Advanced Tweaks - Music FX.

I did have it. I re installed v4a while flashing a rom update and now the toggle doesn't show, even though it's activated :-S

Just to be clear, You guys have already tried re-installing the app/clear data, right? If not, do it first and see whether it fixes it?
Also, make sure y'all are using the default PowerAmp skin/theme or skins which are recommended by PowerAmp.. There may be a possibility that the theme y'all are using isn't mapped yet?!

Yea tried all the standard issue stuff. Can't get it to come back! :-S so odd i get this and press enable but nothing -

That's certainly strange. Does the rom which you're currently on support Music FX? Is Music FX present under Android Settings - Sounds?? I don't know whether this could cause the issue or not. I'm just thinking out loud.

Yea, it comes with music fx and if I install viper audio i then get the option in settings to select which to use

My friend just got his Xperia Z5, but we can't find a way to set a main home screen on the phone.

But, it doesn't show that icon "home" on his phone.
That's really strange.

You have to hold your finger down on the home screen to enable "edit" mode. Notice all the icons and a red X on them to delete?

Yes, but the home icon on the top left corner doesn't show on the phone. Only the "X" on the top right corner.

And you're using the standard Sony Launcher, right? Not Nova Launcher or something else? Seems strange that this would be in one region/carrier firmware but not another. I'm on Customized DE and it's there.

His phone is a Swedish Xperia Z5. I thought that would be the same for every single Xperia. I don't know if the region would matter. Can you confirm this? Using another Launcher would fix it?
On another topic, does your phone have the inicialization music when you turn it on? Is it possible to turn it on or off? Because his doesn't have any of those.

I couldn't say what other launchers do and I only have one region to test (Germany). Sorry.
Phone makes no sound on startup/boot.

My phone are a swedish one with nordic firmware.
I can set home screen as shown in the picture, also there are no sound then booting up the phone.

Bug background play

Background play is not working after the recent update.Please fix it.

It does work for me both for movies and music using mx player pro 1.10.31 (latest update)...

As I said, it works as it should for me.
You could try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, maybe it's an app data thing

We regret the inconveniences caused. We are already aware of the issues and working on it to get it fixed at the earliest. If you are using MX Player 1.10.30 or 31 free version, kindly uninstall and install it from Google Play to revert your MX Player to 1.10.25 as a temporary workaround.
Note: Pro version is not affected by this bug.

Android 10 gestures

I've updated to android 10 and the OS is running great. The only problem I have is the new gesture controls (recents & app switcher) don't work with any other launcher other than the stock one.
As shown in the attached picture, I've tried all these and none of them work. I've been using smart launcher for years and now it doesn't work with the gesture controls. The only gesture that works with all 3rd party launchers is swipe up to minimize.
This is my daily driver as it last even longer than the energizer bunny. I use it a lot for work and get home with about 88% of battery. My device is not rooted in case the question is asked.

I need double knocks to let phone sleep, only Microsoft launcher can do the work

If u go into accessibility, check if gestures is turned on for the launcher. Also in the settings of the launcher, if u double tap you should get this option and select the appropriate option.
