Hello, Everyone
I am Newbie.
I have a device that run Lollipop on 3.10.49 kernel. I want to port Nougat rom (Lineage OS 14). Can I use 3.10.49 lollipop kernel to boot nougat? . Or I have to build the kernel from source?

Previously, this device was supported by cyanogenmod officially. However, development stops at cm12.1. after Lineage OS, there is no one maintain the device.
Please help... I also want to feel nougat in my device

Cyanogen team stopped the development because cyanogen was died. Lineage OS not supporting this device (rendang)

Any screen shots and does this work with tzap?
I don't know. I didn't test it yet, but I guess it looks apt like clean android.
I installed and the rom is just like any other 5.1.1 rom with some rom based features.
Additionally it has some extra apps in Chinese language. I think the rom is
customized for china. Hope this helps for those who wants to try this rom.

I just booted up an old Nexus 7 and plan on using it again. I have an old ROM (ParanoidAndroid) and Kernel(franco.Kernel) on Android 4.2.1 installed. Would it be okay to go straight from that to this ROM?

Magisk is better. It has MagiskHide, passes Safetynet and definitely has no safety risks. If you want to know more, head to r/AndroidRoot and write "supersu" in your post. The bot will tell you everything.
