Yeah, but since Nougat the AppDrawer button has been replaced with the slide up to access the AppDrawer option.

Huawei has implemented that feature yet. It's only found on the Pixel, Nexus and the flagship Samsung devices running Nougat. I think HTC, LG and Sony devices might have jumped on that wagon too.

Nuggeo has a point... I've just sadly returned my 8. Random crashes, reboots. Smart lock doesn't work period. I'm waiting to see how the pixel 2 shapes up before either going back to the Nokia 8 or going pixel 2

Smart lock didn`t work for me either when using the pin code, it did however with a patern. Didn`t try the opther options yet.

Still no one single update for my model, im stuck on B175.
I have Oreo on my Honor 8 lite (PRA-LX1), here´s how I got it via TWRP: (Make a Backup, just in case!)
1. I downloaded Oreo update.zip and update_data_full_public.zip from Firmware Finder, and placed them to SD-card.
2. I downloaded HuRUpdater_0.3.zip and placed to SD-card as well.
2,5. I created folder to SD-card and placed the files there.
3. Rebooted to TWRP.
4. Pressed install, HuRUpdater_0.3.zip and swiped to flash.
5. I followed the instructions.
6. I rebooted and bang! I have Oreo.

Before update what version of rom you have? B175? I don't want beta firmware. I just want to know what is latest version for my phone on android 7 because i don't receive any update.
I think you have lastest stable update already. I've B322 - log (8.0.0.322) I had that same version before, but I wanted to test Oreo, it works fine here.

No not using rom finder ........oreo update official announcement.....but...wait proper oreo update... because my mobile oreo update more than problem issue .some like battery drain problem,slow network,boot time take more etc.....wait honor stable version oreo update..
If your demand oreo update....please go to hauwai customer care and say customer care employ oreo update upgrade...

Yeah I've checked everything and provided permissions manually, and there is no theme file created the apply

I have a chinese version and I can confirme that I received the Android Pie with that version, so yeah, I guess It's stable (at leat has been all good since the update, battery and fingerprint wise seems actually and update, but too soon to tell)

Vivo NEX is the first Chinese Phone i have bought........and i must say its just so fluid......absolutely zero issues in last six months........design is so futuristic......although i hate that Vivo and oppo has started to put pop-up camera in cheaper phones......
Regarding funtouch os, imo android updates are overrated. As long as my phone work this smooth with absolutely no issue, i can't be happier. Btw Funtouch os 9 looks really good. one more thing, am i the only one who thinks stock android and its close variations looks very mundane? and oneplus 6t looks very ugly (i hate notches).
Vivo Nex S most of the case will get Fantouch 9 but in unknown time deliver.
I'm only curious about AOD if they ever bring unlimited notification app with Fantouch 9.
Current implementation is half bakes with only SMS and missed call notification like we are in 2005 and not 2018-19.
Native Dark mode is also great feature with OLED as we see more and more adaption from other OEM like Sammy,Huawei,Xiaomi,Oneplus.
