I am unable to enroll fingerprint or setup any passcode or pin on my lockscreen i can't even access the security tab in the settings.
I was using stock. I flashed the RR without removing OLD enrolled fingerprints. Then due to camera issues I have reverted to stock.
I used Firmware Finder to get the firmware file. I tried to flash it through dload method but it didn't worked so I extracted the UPDATE.APP and flashed stock boot,system,vendor,recovery and factory restored the phone but that didn't helped .. Anyone can please help me.
Or can someone tell me where the enrolled fingers data is stored because i have formated the system,vendor,data paratitions through twrp and after that did the fastboot flash method. No luck no success... Anyone with solutions .. ?

Hi everyone. I have a problem here . after i unlocked bl, and boot to recovery, i must enter a password to decrypt data.. as long as i remember ive never set a password to encrypt or decrypt data or my internal... so im stuck at twrp and cant flash the rom.. is there anyone out there facing the same problem?

Which version of TWRP did you flash ?
Also, I have this problem too, but after set a PIN code (because of the fingerprint use) I have to enter a code in TWRP. I try the PIN code, and it's working

That sound weird. I suggest you to start it back. Flash a ROM via FlashTool, in order to start on a clean base

2. flash androplus kernel using flashtool...

If your bootloader is unlock you don't have to downgrade to 6.0.1
For the rest, follow my guide. I didn't say to flash androplus through Flashtool, but through the terminal. Take some time to read it, and understand the procedure

Thanx man. Everything's work fine now. I just don't know how to use terminals since this is my first time unlocking. But its okay now.
But after fresh startup of device in to system then restart my phone and going back to twrp recovery mode then again it asks for password to decrypt?

Hello. I was encrypting my phone using android setting feature. It started to encrypt then it rebooted and it was on honor logo. I have twrp and unlocked bootloader and rooted.

I guess you could try to boot into TWRP --> Wipe --> Format Data --> Ext4(if it asks)
Or try to re-install stock firmware with some official way or in TWRP by following this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-4x/how-to/install-emui-4-1-4x-4c-g-play-g-play-t3515702

Just recheck URL you have copied it from quoted text which removes text in between the URL .
Copy it directly from the browser URL.

that did not work.... i got original recovery back but when im trying to install update.app it fails at 5%.
any ideas?

oh i forgot one thing i had to format cache before boot. (when i was reading the post something started to fly very loudly in my room so i got scared xD) now it works fine.

I downloaded this http://download969.mediafire.com/xqlhgoufnstg/w9ms2fh8fr0atxi/updateappflasher.zip
And then I downloaded UPDATE.APP and moved it into that zip file and then I mounted all partitions and flashed normally using twrp. Before first boot format cache and data. Also you need unlocked bootloader.

So yeah.. Here I am. Was going back from RROS to stock, downloaded rollback, flashed it with three button trick. Phone booted into RROS so I tried again and then it was booting forever and then I force restarted and here I am, stuck in bootloader. Trying to get into recovery just restarts, same with erecovery and three button trick. Can only enter bootloader. Tried to flash boot, recovery and system of FRD-L09C432B360 but that didn't change anything. Any help?

I didn't want to do update.zip, because downloading times are extremely slow for me from that server, but that was what I ended up doing as I got TWRP up and running. Problem solved.
Got the rollback from custom ROM here

I have seen your post, but it takes ages for me to download from huaweis server. Also, whenever I flash firmware files stuff is missing and not working correctly, so I have to rollback and update again to fix.

I have done this a lot of times before, factory reset doesn't fix, it's correct firmware and it's not corrupt. I don't understand what you mean by bad flash.

Well I know it never works for me, regardless if I flash both or not. Examples are keyboard, smart key settings and stock apps missing.

I relocked my bootloader with my RECOVERY.img that i found with the stock rom zip.
It was a big mistake because now i'm stuck. When I have to call : *#*#1357946#*#* nothing appeared
So i have to find this ID Product to unlock one time again the bootloader.
My H8 works on RROS, TWRP has disappeared = bootloader relocked
Any fix for me ?

Hi, I have a FRD-L09C432. I wanted to try Oreo with the russian firmware, so I followed this guide:

Something must have went wrong because it booted without setup nor GApps. I think the two data zips didn't flash correctly. They couldn't be dloaded because they don't have an update.app file.
I managed to install TWRP with MultiTool v8, and I tried to flash Gapps but the google account setup crashes. I tried to flash the two other zips, "update_data_full_public" flashed successfully (only a small error at the begining but I don't think it was important) and "update_full_FRD-L09_hw_ru" gave an error directly.
I rebooted to system and OEM unlock was disabled and greyed out ... I tried to factory reset in TWRP and now it won't boot, it's stuck on honor boot animation for minutes then reboot ...
I tried to reflash update.zip via TWRP but it gives an error. Also TWRP can't unmount system, I don't know if it's important.
I tried to use DC Unlocker (15€ credits) to unlock FRP but it didn't do anything ... I asked for a refund to try DC Phoenix.
I thought about flashing stock recovery via TWRP to factory reset properly but with FRP locked I'm worried to lose TWRP forever.
Now I don't know what to do. Is DC Phoenix a good solution? Which ROM must I flash? How do I rollback to Nougat? Is there any solution?

Ok I solved my problem by flashing C10B360 from TWRP and factory reset from stock recovery. If it can help someone!

The only problem is that I lost twrp in the process and now my bootloader is locked and oem unlock is greyd out :crying:

i'm the author of the post and can tell you that you probally forget the oeminfo file... i did the same thing coming back to frd-l04 and now i don't know how to fix it... what did you do?
