Hi,
somehow, after one year of hearing nothing, I stumbled over the Multi Boot Patcher. Full of joy I read that our device even is officially supported here.
I'm currently running the newest BatMan-Rom (and really am happy with it ), but as a big fan of aosp I tried installing both LineageOS and RR, neither with success.
What I did:
set the Kernel for primary
patched both Lineage and RR zips (two times, in case of file corruption)
tried to flash both (at least two times) via the in-app flasher
tried to flash both (at least two times) via TWRP
wiped dalvik/cache
uninstalled the app, installed it again
tried installing both to secondary AND external SD
Here are two pictures of the output from the in-app flsaher:
Lineage:

And Here are the pastebin Links of the Logs of the two installations:

Resurrection Remix LOG - Pastebin
I really would appreciate any help I can get, also I am willing to try out any tips I get - regardless if they're helpful or not.
Thx
Is nobody else interested in Dual-/Multiboot on the s7? :crying:

all my NANDs are showing the wrong date and the wrong time. apparently, my phone has gone back to the future and all my backups are from like 1970. I've installed CWM from the play store, updated recovery, etc., but it still does this. anyone else seen this?

This is a known problem and had many threads about it. So far there seem to be two " fixes" first, use ROM manager to make nand and make it before starting.... It gives you the option. Second just added text to the end of what it is a backup of (heard mixed reviews of this working) I can't vouch for either personally because I just remember what my couple are of.
Sent from my SGS3 running Eclipse 2.1
Despite all the good posts on here I have been unable to get my phone out of a boot loop, and am now quite desperate for help please!
If anyone can point me in the direction of a rom or kernel that will definitively work on my phone I will be eternally grateful
It was ok until I decided to unlock bootloader and root it.
Unlock bootloader went well, as did flashing TWRP and also CWM – I have a suspicion that it was rooting with OneClickRoot caused the problem.
After over a day of failure I discovered how to do ADB Sideload at this thread: I used CM11 I got from this thread: and also tried a Stock one from here:
sadly nothing worked, and I'm now afraid of filling my phone storage with large files. I have added some screen shots of my failed attempts with TWRP & CWM
they both fail, and TWRP does warn me not to reboot as I have no OS installed, but I had to keep on trying.
Another weird thing is that I cannot always reboot to recovery from the Hboot screen and have to re-flash a recovery image each time.

no need to reply now folks, I got the job done ... see here
Guys I'm on Existenz rooted firmware for my Z3D6653.
I always hated the new google photos as it seems to limited compared to its previous version (Kitkat days).
I always prefer to install GooglePlus ver. 8.0.0.123464592-415899108.
Now this version has got all effects I needed:
Looks, image, drama, retrolux etc etc.
Issue:
It always keeps saying:
Downloading resources some editing tools unavailable.
or
Downloading editing tools it only happens once. Continue to download or wait for WiFi.

......
This is truly frustrating as this prompts comes every time I want to edit any image and its too much frustrating.
This is happening off late. I removed the app by clearing cache etc and re-installed but same thing happens. I even installed a version back and later but same issue.
It seems that the resources downloaded are stored only temporarily for that session and then clears out.
Can somebody provide a workaround so that the resources stays forever.
For this question, I suggest you post on General, not Android Development.
Because we thought you released new custom ROM!
This thread has nothing to do with Development...
Thread Moved.

This is an alpha rom for Doogee Shoot 2, it's a port, and have his issues that I can't solve. I'm not responsable for brick the device, is posted here for experience users or developers who want to take ahead and see if the issue mentioned below can be solved.
Hello there! Here's my first of several port that I made for the infamous Doogee Shoot 2 based on port roms of MTK Rom Porting Group (user Syed). This is a Moto C ROM with all the goodies of Motorola but with one several issue that I wasn't able to solved (for any rom I ported to the Doogee): flickering of the screen. I mean, crazy flickering of the screen until the phone restarts by itself.
The rom it takes a while to boot (clean flash please with TWRP installed), sometimes with a restart on the first boot.
Working: WiFi, Bluetooth, Camera
No tested: RIL, data
Virus (common on Doogee roms): don't have
Here's an example of what happen (with other rom I ported): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysgOy50-2ao

What are those? and what's the difference between them?
I find it online but my brain couldn't understand it.

use vndklite
basically it allows you to mess with system files after installing which fixes issues like encryption, not being able to access data in twrp etc etc
Oh, thank you!
