My TF300T is stuck in apx mode after wiping the system. Then after i wiped the system i was going to restore the system but the tablet died so then i recharged it and turned it back on and i couldn't go back in twrp recovery to restore i tried using fastboot to install a OS again then i installed it but id did not bot up to any thing so then i installed it again but then it looked like it wasent on.
luckily though i plugged my tablet into my laptop then it said installing apx driver.then i did some research and found that you can you nvflash to restore your tablet but later i found out (after trying to see how to restore it) is that i need a back up from nvflash but i didn't have one.
I guess my question is this:
How can i fix my tf300t
Please help ive been trying to figure this out for like 2 months

I'm sorry, but it seems you did brick your devise seriously by doing things like wipe a.s.o. without enough knowledge.
The only way I see to rescue your device is going back on latest version of Asus stock rom 4.2 Jelly Bean. First of all you need ADB. Please download "Minimal ADB & Fastboot". Install it on your PC and check if you can get access to your tablet. To learn all about that stuff please read carefully this thread and place your problem there: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2179759
Finally you should do a @Buster99: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44244313&postcount=12
If you cannot boot into either fastboot or recovery the tablet is bricked for good. Sorry

Hello. Today i managed to install small update from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1563249
I sucessfully flashed it through cwm, and I also booted. But then i accidentaly pressed OTA asus update and im now stuck in Cwm Recovery v3.1.0.1 (solarnz-R-230511-1902). I cant access my nandroid backup since this recovery doesnt support internal storage and i when i press reboot system i get recovery loops (tablet restarts but android wont boot, im again in cwm). So i managed to flash some other versions of cwm, i flashed them, but again, after reboot im still in this recovery ... then i tried this guide http://www.transformerforums.com/fo...overy-bootloop-fix-tested-my-c10-windows.html but i havent set an adb to my device before so when im in command prompt it doesnt recognize my tablet so its pretty awkward (maybe because i havent usb debugging on - is there any way to turn it on??). So im an epic noob, can someone give me advice how to unbrick my lovely tablet? I´ll be very very greatful please help...
If you have an sbk v1 version you could use nvflash to unbrick. Check your serial #
Hmm, I already solved it Just did cold boot and wrote some things with terminal emulator...
Hi,
Am exactly in the same situation, have to cold boot to use the tablet.
Could tou please detail what you did to solv the problem once under android ?
Thanks in advance.
Check this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23339963 . You'll need to connect to a PC and us adb to connect (Google it if you are not sure what it is or how to use it).
Then reboot since you'll be right back in CWM, run the advanced script. I would replace that version as soon as possible with the working version of CWM.

Just picked up a TF101 and it had the Cryo (whatever it is called) OS with ClockworkMod Recovery v5.8.3.4. The OS didn't pick up wifi on the apps but it is on and logged into the router so I did a reset. Once I reset the TF101, i am stuck at CWM. It won't boot into any OS or anything else. I tried almost everything I found googling (this site and others) but nothing works. I did, however, got the TF drivers for my laptop so I can connect to it but I can't get the USB debug option on (of course).
So what are my options? how do I "unbrick" this thing? is this what some people call it soft-brick as it does boot but there just isn't any OS in there? I tried to put the OS zip file from Asus on a MicroSD but when I went to install zip from sdcard, it i can't get to the microSD to install it. it doesn't find it at all.
what can I do? what are the steps in unbricking this thing? I got this for my dad for father's day (chinese father's day which is TODAY...) and would like to get it to him.
Thanks in advance!
Is it in a CWM boot loop? Meaning when you reboot the tablet it keep going back to CWM?
Try this to see if you can boot OS.
Turn off tablet
Push and hold Vol down plus Power button
Wait till you see a screen that give you two options
Wipe data or Cold boot Linux
Choose Cold boot to boot into OS.

still stuck in CWM. I held it down and no options came up except to push vol +. tried both and regardless of what i do, it just goes right back into the CWM menu. it seems there's no OS to this tablet anymore?
Is there something I can do via USB cable to flash a ROM in there?

If you have ADB working, you can push a ROM file to internal memory and flash it.
Alternatively you can NVFlash a compatible ROM.

Sorry to sound ignorant but what's ad and what command (extra code after the .exe) do I add afterwards?
I'd try to flash a ROM via NVFLASH.
You may download it from here, but you must know if your TF101 is WW version, US version or any other. You must also know if your device is SBK1 or SBK2. That depends on the serial number. For example, mine starts by B50 and it's SBK1. If yours is SBK2 then you'll have to take a look at wheelie. If not, take a look here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1620758
However, I'm not responsible for any damage your device might suffer.
Take a look at that and tell me
here's the endall- easyflash version 0.8.3b whitekidneys just updated it and saved my brick. it'll save yours too. just install it on your computer, along with naked drivers 0.7, put the tf in apx, and flash. literally that easy.
Follow the link to easy flash / nvflash and follow the steps...

anyone? i have problems getting it into apx mode, been trying for half an hour and still cant get it in to apx. would the bootloaders be a reason why i cant restore via nvflash?
Could it have gone flat during a flash? and it wont go into apx mode after the failed flash? Someone can correct me if im wrong but im sure partitions doesn't effect nvflash. what screens are you stuck at currently?

also stuck
i'm not sure if i'm jacking this thread, but i have the exact same issue- was stuck in cwm boot. could cold boot into the normal os, but who wants that. so i used easyflasher to flash the newest asus update and attempt to fix this situation. used sbk2. now stuck on the nvflash recovery screen. computer says i'm still in apx mode. can't get the sucker to reboot for the life of me. it will record on the tablet screen when i flash and reflash, but won't let me reboot. also tried to flash all three recoveries (cwm, twrp, and roachxm) to no avail. some help would be appreciated.
yup

Doesn't nvflash (easy flash) flash rogue recovery by default... have you installed naked drivers ? You can get into APX mode and then u r stuck ?

I dont think it does. Theres an option to flash cwm, rogue, and one by roach (the name is slipping my mind), none of them seem to work. The computer is registering as apx but the tablet says im in nvflash recovery.

There is option right... as far as i remember, when yo flash stock using nvflash it removes root access... so you need to root and flash cwm again using nvflash right... so best option is removing root n going back to stock using easy flash.... boot it normally... let it settle and then root it again and install rogue recovery
That what I did when I had issues with my tablet...

fixed!!!
ok got it. easyflasher 0.8.3b fixed it. whitekidneys has it working great now. the problem was getting easyflasher to finish the recovery kernel. something stopped or failed to transfer to the tablet while flashing the recovery. that means no recovery. that means i get stuck in apx mode. he updated it to 0.8.3b and it worked right away.

Now I have tried the new version and it boots again but the bootloop remains...
Any idea what else I could try?

You flashed a recovery and reflashed the os? When you say new version you mean 0.8.3b right? Cause 0.8.3 doesnt work. You have the newest system update zip from the asus site in the asusupdate folder? When you say bootloop do you mean you can only get to your recovery or do you mean a real bootloop- it just keeps rebooting on the eee pad or asus screen?

I used the option Flash stock/unbrick at first but this didn't help so i tried flashing a recovery and then reflash the os from my external sd card but this result in an error code 7.
Yes I used 0.8.3b ( at least the zip I downloaded says so, program itself says 0.8.3)
With bootloop I mean that I can access recovery/apx but if the system trys to boot it gets stuck at the "Asus Inpiring inovation..." screen.
And yes I copied the latest zip from the asus site to the update folder.
I also tired putting the DE_epaduser9_2_1_21UpdateLauncher.zip from the asus site because I'm from germany and thought it may help...
But none of that worked for me
Thank you for your reply btw.

Crap. Try all of the updates. If you can get to your recovery its definitely a problem with the os. Try othe other updates or get ahold of whitekidneys. He helped me. Or maybe youre having another issue he needs to address.
My TF300 is unlocked. I installed the new JB and then I was trying to install CWM. I used fastboot to push it to the device. When I rebooted, holding down the volume button, It came up to the menu with RCK, USB, etc. I selected wipe data by accident. It sat there for a while saying it was going to wipe and go into the boot loader. After a while I shut it off thinking it was hung. Now when I power on the device I get only the ASUS startup screen. Volume up or down don't affect the mode. It just says "The Device is Unlocked" at the top, and the static ASUS logo in the middle. When I plug in the USB to my Windows 7 computer I get nothing in the device listing. I can't even fully turn the device off. Holding power for a few seconds, it goes off, and then it comes right back on by itself.
I think I'm totally bricked, right? I CAN get into APX mode.
Yes, wiping the data will brick your device if you don't have a working recovery.

I did exactly the same thing.
I have exact same problem.
Tried it via APX mode via NVflash but no luck so far.:crying:
need the correct SBK version.
SBKv1 and SBKv2 doesn't work for the TF300t.
I send my tf300t for repair.
Lets hope that they can fix my TF300t.

Unfortunately, APX and nvflash is not available for the TF300T currently. As I understand it, you're required to record some information and your Secure Boot Keys (SBK) prior to bricking to be able to access APX. Otherwise, your only recourse is to contact Asus and start the RMA process.
I'm recording my developments over in this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1825265&page=2 (my post is at the bottom)
I think I'm going to hold out until someone figures out the NvFlash process as described here:
http://androidroot.mobi/technical/tf-secure-boot-key/
I had the same issue. wiped my data after the JB update as my device froze halfway through the update, so I forced a reboot and it hang at the Asus screen, so not thinking I wiped data to go do a fresh update... I wiped the update and all my data/system/recovery.
I found that in the boot loader screen (Wipe Data, Fastboot, ETC....) I was able to navigate to fastboot select it and then it would hang from there. - my computer wouldnt recognize it either however, i tried flashing a copy of TWRP anyway while in my hanging fastboot just to see what happened.
It didnt work first few times but it did eventually flash. so I had a recovery to work with. via a MicroSD put a fresh copy of the JB update on it and re-flash through the recovery via External SD Card.
It did remove my root access, TWRP and all the data on my device after flashing the JB update but it "un-bricked" me and got me booted again.
Don't know if I was just lucky or if it will work for you.

The difference in your situation is that you were able to access the boot loader. My boot loader is wiped. I don't get the option to select Wipe Data/Fastboot, etc. I'm stuck in a mode where I think the only option is to low-level flash the bootloader after re-initializing all of the partitions.
Happened to me too. I'm hoping that ASUS will fix it for a reasonable price. Otherwise I'm just going to get a Nexus 7.
Hello guys
I have a big problem with my TF700t. I have looking similar topics and answers for my problem but didn't find.
Around month ago I wanted to flash new ROM and then in TWRP I ve got "Unable to mount cache". I tryied to make format data but it didn't help. But now I can not event get into bootloader. My device is starting from bootloop on TWRP ( to be specific on flash screen) and stays at it. I can not get into TWRP in any way. Even after battery was down and recharing it - still the same. Also I am not even able to turn device off. But It is recognized in computer but adb not see TF700.
And I am or I was on TWRP 2.8.0.1
Can You have any idea what I could do to fix it ?
Thank You in advance

You have to kick your tablet back into the bootloader and you best bet for that is to use bootit.ko that we have thanks to _that.
Follow this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/transformer-tf300t/help/guide-t2854495
Yes, that's a guide for the TF300 but this works just fine on the 700 too.
After you are back in the bootloader it's up to you if you follow lj's guide and fastboot flash the Asus stock blob and start from scratch or reflash your recovery and use that to format your cache and data partitions.
If you decide to flash the stock blob you'll have to get the latest firmware for your SKU from here: https://www.asus.com/support/Download/28/1/0/11/fq2B3oq64av1O95u/8/
But you should be able to fix it without that once you have a working recovery and fastboot again.
Hi,
I have similar problem. My Tablet Stuck on blinking TWRP. When i power on my tablet, after asus logo it goes to " 4 Penguins images" then Twrp tlinking "TEAMWIN" logo.
Power + Volume Down buttons do not work.
