Hi, my fingerprint not working after unlocking bootloader, when i restart the phone he work, but after sometime appear "fingerprint hardware not available", and not work more.
I really need a help.
My phone is E6683.

I've got a leagoo lead 1 here. Phone works great however it has a developing problem.
When turning on the screen the phone won't unlock by swiping or pin patterns or anything that involves screen contact.
Turning the screen repeatedly on/off/on/off etc gets the screen to respond. once the phone is unlocked everything works fine as it should be. I'd reckon it is not a screen failure then because it is very repsonsive once unlocked.
The problem only occurs when the screen needs to be unlocked. Tried the stock launcher as I suspected nova launcher to be the culprit but the problem remained.
Anyone usefull tips/tricks?
btw. Restart and batterypull didn't resolve the matter
After Upadating to Nougat Officially, I am facing a problem....That is,After encrolling the finger print for unlock, it only wakes the screen..after that it wants the pin....after giving thee pin it unlocks....I tried hard but couldn't solve this...any ideas??

So for the past few days, whenever I try to unlock my Z5 I get a message telling me that "Fingerprint hardware not available". I've tried rebooting as well as turning off the phone for a few hours with no improvement.
The only way the phone allows me to unlock using my fingerprint is if I press the power button and keep my phone on the sensor. If it reads successfully then it unlocks, but if it doesn't, it gives me the unavailable message.
Even if I get the error and it doesn't unlock, I can still log into apps (like my banking app) with my fingerprint.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
I think any data that might have something to do with the fingerprint software got corrupted.
I had this problem as well and I tried to mess with the files in the system. But no joy, it was only waste of time.
The only way out for me was, was to do a clean install.
I mean reflashing the ftf file with clear data.

I use Xperia XZ, has the same problem of getting a message "Fingerprint hardware not available" whenever I press the power button.
I went to the fingerprint manager under settings, removed all the existing registered finger prints (my index and thumb prints) and added new. And it worked!
I have a problem with the fingerprint scanner, when i register my fingerprints it takes alot of time to complete the register process. I get a lot of partial fingerprint detected errors or it is isn't recognized at all. I can complete the sequence, but it take a lot of tries. Whenever I try to unlock the phone, most of the time it wil unlock, but sometimes it won't detect my fingerprint. Sometimes I will get the error, that my fingerprint isn't recognized even when I am not touching the fingerprint scanner. Does anyone else has this same problem?

It really looks like a hardware problem with your fingerprint scanner... You should use your warranty to fix it or change it for a new one.
I was in the car and my phone slipped out of my pocket and landed on the carpet.
Fingerprint reader stopped working.
Face unlock was still working.
Factory reset the device
Fingerprint reader still not working.
Face unlock still working.
Can anyone offer a suggestion or know what I can do.

Send it back without mentionning the fall? Just say that the fingerprint readed stopped working.
