There's only one way to get a 4.4.x ROM on a locked boot-loader and that's only if Sony releases an official KK ROM, since that's probably not going to happen, there's no to get a locked boot-loader on a KK ROM
Hmm and why xperia sp has cm11 for locked bootloader and that's not official from Sony
I've been told by an fxp dev that there's a way to flash it in locked bootloaders, but the kernel has to be the same from stock, and it would require a bit of work to configure everything, but it's possible.
my xperia l is running build 15.A.3.1.14 with unlocked bootloader....

My Moto G is running KitKat 4.4.2. System version is 172.44.4.falcon_umts.Retail.en.US
Bootloader unlocked. I received an OTA update to Version.172.44.4.falcon_umts.Retail.en.US. I download and install it. However, it keeps saying "Error" while installing.
Could anyone help me with that problem?
Big thanks.

Are you rooted?
This is exactly the error I encountered back then, when my phone still ran 4.4.2. It was rooted and no way I could manage to install the 4.4.4 OTA update. Maybe you can flash 4.4.4 manually. Your phone is XT1032, isn't it?

Read what the error is telling you. It expects x and you have y.

my phone running 6.0.1 not 5.0.2, anyway what is the solution ?
Ota updates can only be installed on an unrooted system with stock recovery unless the ota update has been compiled for flashi via twrp.
It is asking for google and you have omni.

so, is there a way to install this ota update manually, without unroot the phone and wipe twrp recovery ?
Why would you install a Google OTA when you are obviously running a custom ROM?
Wait for the developer of that to update, or revert back to stock.
Hello. I cannot update ota after flashing stock firmware. Dint locked the bootloader though. Dint used the command lock_oem_begin
Last time I looked the update sitting out there for the G3 was actually M.

For small ota it wont relock the bootloader. Make sure you unroot, install stock recovery then download OTA.
