How do I get this new Version on which viper and maximus and leedroid roms are based

you are on UK version the .16 is for US version
just wait till the month ends and you will get the latest build of maximus hTC waits for security patch of august

Meanwhile MaximusHD is on 1.27.401.5 so there's even another update in the works it seems. Let's see what number it'll when it arrives by the end of this month or mid September.

ok having problems with phone seems like hardware but i called tmob and they asked for software ver .i didnt have it due to being ics!!!!!!! shhhh lol i need stock info as if all updates and non rooted phone

That's the latest EU unbranded ROM version, T-Mobile US is the one above

im still waiting for this also, i have a sim free, one s and am in the uk, still no update.
Man, I'm with O2 and I'm still on 1.53.207.3. Any workaround to this?

It is the latest until your carrier releases an update.
HTC have released the 1.78 ROM. If you have a simlocked phone, it has your carrier's own version of their software (i.e. the carriers take the base version and add their own bloatware). Once each individual carrier has completed this process, the newer software should be availlable as an OTA download.

You have 2 choices:
1) Wait
2) Root and install a custom ROM with a newer base.
I'll root it eventually, I'm just kinda worried about the bootloader unlock via HTCDev right now.
Also, I'm waiting for a Stock Rom, without Sense
My One S is a SIM free one as well, bought in the UK, still no OTA update as of today.
Anyone knows when will be released the next EUROPEAN firmware update after 1.78.401.2?
I've got a HTC One S (VilleC2). Recently, I re-locked the bootloader and get the OTA update for ICS 4.0.4 with Sense 4.1 update. Can anyone show me the way to root the phone after that OTA update?

Unlock the bootloader,flash twrp 2.2.1 recovery and then flash superSu 0.96

The only one I can see that is even close is 3.17.728.1 which is for the Endeavor(it even says so in the filename).
728 is unbranded Australia, there is no unbranded One XL for Australia, only One X.
Hi, I bought at eBay an HTC One X AT&T Unlocked (Dual-Core Version) and I was wondering if I could install the official Jelly Bean Rom that was released at Asia I think for the One XL. If possible how do I do it? I already have unlocked bootloader and rooted! I´m not using it at the USA, Thank you!

Yeah... I recommend doing s off..than flash twrp than flash a jelly bean Rom! Go round out development section
